Julia lost her beloved wife in tragic circumstances. Years later, will she get another chance at love?
This is a standalone romance set in the world of Her Royal Bodyguard. Finding Her Home is a steamy Age-Gap, Opposites Attract, Slow-Burn romance with a HEA.
The Queen's Personal Advisor, Julia Wilding, lost her wife years ago. Having devoted herself to her career in serving the Queen, she doesn't believe that she will love again.
When she meets Olympic Equestrian Champion, Victoria Grey-Hughes, there is a chemistry between them that she can't deny, despite how different they are. The only trouble is, Victoria is hiding her own pain and she doesn't do relationships.
Can they find a way to heal themselves and each other and in doing so, find their home?

I went hungrily to this new and last book of the series, looking for more delicious delicate love diaries of the golden couple, but I surprised by how the book still have the same title “her royal bodyguard" but it's not about the royal herself or her bodyguard.. that's sort of prank here !
However I decided to finish it to figure out why a lovable talented writer like Margaux would did that ! No, I don’t like Vic’s character before, but somehow the writer show us some other faces of Vic that requires my sympathy and acceptance in back.
Plus of course introducing such a very attractive character like Swoolia, beside vic .. that’s a good marketing actually.
I finished the book for Swoolia .. I love to read more about her, love how the writer revealed the sensitive part of her personality , and set us in motion with her. But overall, I can’t assimilate how this short relationship went so fast to be describe as a strong real one .. specially it based on very superficial situations .. I believe, good bonding always came after twists, struggles and some challenges .. some real shit .. not that perfect easy going life ... I still can’t accept that shallow speedy love ending. Something is missing .. something big is missing.
Tip to the writer : I felt your skills upgraded and the writing got so much better comparing to the first book of the series. But this book needed a solid , consistent and wow ending more than that dead one. I see how you do so much efforts to write always better and to give a happy story .. but me, as a real fan .. I need more quality, plus all the good vibes you gave us. Thank you.
Another wonderful addition to the Royal Bodyguard series. I am so happy Vic got her story and HEA. Vic has had her eye on Julia since they met. I was not sure they would get together after Vic had her baby. Vic needed someone to really love her. These are such feel good books. Please read them all. I hope the series will continue. But I love all of Margaux's books.
Hey besties, this book was so good. I was not expecting this cute lesbian romance with that cover, but you know what they say.
I loved the dynamic between Julia and Vic. Vic was wild and Julia was proper but they both were such genuinely kind individuals. And even with the age gap they felt on even par with each other. Vic was more dominant with her personality being a perfect fool for Julia’s. There wasn’t any icky power kick from Julia being older. There was mutual respect between them.
They loved with such passion and devotion. And baby Hyzenthlay (I know it’s a reference but geez that’s a crazy white woman name) was such a nice addition to the book. I loved how they formed a little found family all together.
Some points deducted because though Vic was on the ball with audible consent, Julia did initiate sex while Vic was asleep which is not good. Consent is key, kids.
4.5 stars. Best book in the series. Erin and Alex's story is wrapped up so here we focus on Julia (aka Swoolia) and Vic and I loved them so much. I honestly wish they had been the stars of this series. They are the best. Watching the growth that Vic has gone through throughout the series was great and I think Julia was the perfect person for her and vice versa. Both women have some hangups but their chemistry is undeniable and when they finally get together was satisfying as hell. So much passion and intimacy and trust between them that just made me swoon so hard. This book was not long enough dammit! I want more but as it is it's a beautiful love story and is the one in the series that I can without a doubt see myself coming back to again and again. It's sexy, romantic, and full of heart. I loved it.
Another feel good book from the Royal Bodyguard series!
Julia is Queen Alexandra's outstanding Personal Advisor who lost her wife years ago and doesn't have time to date. When she meets Olympic Equestrian Champion, Victoria, there is an undeniable chemistry despite their very different backgrounds. Vic is such a rough character with a very sweet side that few people ever see. She's wonderful with her new baby daughter and Julia responds to both of them fully. I'm glad they got their own story in the midst of the "Royals.". As an animal lover, I also enjoyed the horses and dogs. What a great place for Vic's daughter to grow up in. It's a great story of second chances and being a safe place for one another!
Of course if your a fan of Her Royal Bodyguard series then you love Vic and Julia. Turns out they are good together. Vic with her no nonsense rough side and Julia with her put together loyal sweet side have a lust for each other but do they cross that forbidden line. Oh they do. But is this a sweet fling or something neither one of them was ready for. Sweet Read! However I did miss Erin and Alex’s bantering and thought maybe we could have been clued in on what transpired when Erin let’s Alex know that she was wrong about Vic. Now we wait for the next chapter in Her Royal Bodyguard saga……….
A beautiful story full of romance and second chances for happinesses. Plenty of feelings and more intimate scenes building up the love between the main characters. Part of the Her Royal Bodyguard series but definitely can be read without the previous books as a stand-alone. Fully enjoyable
The princess are living the family life with the three royal babies and Alexandra is thriving in her queen duties. I don't know if there are going to be additional books to the storyline but marguax gave us what we had been waiting for and that is how things developed between vic and Julia.
I remember reading the 4th in this story and then gushing to Margaux about how much I loved Vic and Julia and how I wanted more of them. Guess I got my wish!
I love all the books in the series and this book was no exception, but it dropped too many f-bombs for me.Seems like every other word was f**k. No need for that much .......
I love the bringing of happiness to more of the character from the first few novels of the series, it was a little odd of the queen interfering in a relationship. I can't ima
Vic and Julia a beautiful story. Vic didn't think she was good enough to be with Julia. Julia was liking everything about Vic but couldn't get pass her dead wife memories. A good read
Wow amazing storyline I loved how it all comes together but the chemistry between them was incredible written I felt every emotion with them congratulations another amazing book .
When it comes to include the staff of the royals in this story, Margaux has done an excellent job. The personality of the characters was portrayed clearly and easily seen in my mind, so much so that I found I cried. Thank you for another outstanding story.
I love that Julia and Vic finally found their way to each other. It felt like such a long time coming as you read through the other books. Also kind of loved Vic’s daughters name after I finally figured out how to say it.

I think Vic is my favorite supporting character. I laughed so hard at her awkwardness and having no filter whatsoever. Glad these two got their own story. Loved the whole series🖤
I like these books. They are quick, easy reads that relax my brain. The characters have some meat, but nothing complex to figure out or follow. Also, Vic swears a lot, just like real people.
Enjoyed the continuation of the story with a focus on Julia and Vic's love story. Three stars because I feel like the last few chapters were kinda rushed.
re-reading 2 years later after the first time and I can say this is definitely my least favorite of the 5, but still very enjoyable, I love the characters and the ways they riff off each other. I do have to keep it out of 5 simply because there were some flaws here and there. But well worth re-reading.
