She knew something was hidden. Hidden behind her illusions. Her bruises and cuts were shouting each moment to search for those answers. Was she her? or was She someone else? The answer lies behind the erased past. Read 'She erased her', from the bestselling author of 'My Mute Girlfriend', 'I am always here with you' & 'Rhythm Roger- The secrets of Electon'
She Erased Her has one of those much-used tropes that we find almost everywhere- a case of memory loss, in which the main character wakes up from a coma and does not remember her life before the incident or accident that resulted in her being in a coma for eight months.
The main character in this story is Samira Sinha, a cartoonist at a leading newspaper. She has her doubts about the car accident. Everything that could have given her some information about her life before the accident has been wiped out; on top of that, she keeps on receiving messages from someone called Kiara whom she cannot remember.
Miraculously Samira meets Rahul on a social media platform; he seems closer than she can remember. How does Rahul fit in the picture?
How do you rate a thriller that delivers on the thrill experience, but the story is based on a trope that has been overused and has run out of fashion. There are enough twists and turns to keep the reader's attention occupied; however, I believe the execution could have been better.
The plot twists , pace of the story, length of the book were amazing. The story was unpredictable . There was a lot going on and it was a LOT for such a short book !! I kept assuming theories of my own throughout the story and ofc failed everytime (ಥ‿ಥ) .As pages turn by, the intensity of suspense kept increasing . Over all , it was a very fast-paced, wonderful, gripping and a page turning thriller .
The only reason it isn't getting a 5✩ is because - in situations where the characters in the story discovered a few things about someone else , the author did not explain how that was discovered. That piece of information just popped out of nowhere in the story and was not even explained.
I am in with the name of this book, it just goes so perfectly for the story. I picked this book just by reading the title and I am happy with my decision.
Samira just woke up from a coma for almost 8 months from a dangerous road accident and forgot all past events. She believed it was not a common road accident but now she was unable to remember anything other than one only name - " Kiara ".
She made many attempts to solve this mystery and wonder about her lost past. Because of all this, she was under deep stress. She continued to search for her lost identity and tried to find any picture in her laptop, drive, and albums but she couldn't succeed. The strange thing was she didn't herself on any social media sites. Neither she had a friend or co-workerintohat could help her get through this confusion. Her mother wasn't in support of the pursuit of her past and was scared.
But only then a new character came into the story " Rohan " who called himself Samira's friend. But after that, a link of many strange incidents happened one by one. Including many threats and deaths. And Sameera's past and present got more entangled. There was no starting point to solve them all.
What was this in Sameera's past? How is she connected to Kiara? And did someone deliberately erase all the things of Samira's past and if it was true then what was the reason behind it?
-was Samira missing something and because of which these all these things are tangled? -Will, Samira ever came to know why this all happened to her?
So many unanswered questions...so many twists and turns...But I'm not spoiling things here. Go and grab your copies. .....
This book is amazing especially if you're a thriller lover then don't miss out on this. The author has done a great job, every character is defined in perfection that you will feel like the story is real.
The title of the book can't be better And one more thing that I would like to appreciate is the imagination power of the author. I was able to visualize the scene while reading the book. . I loved this book ❤
❤️BOOK REVIEW 📚❤️ TITLE : SHE ERASED HER AUTHOR : HIMANSHU RAI Publication : Invincible Publishers Genre : Mystery Thriller Format : Paperback Pages : 220
♦️ The main reason for reading this book was the title and cover of the book which attracted me towards it. ♦️ After reading the book I felt proud of my decision because I liked the book very much. ♦️ The story begins with a girl named Samira who was in a coma for 8 months after a terrible accident. ♦️ After the accident, she had lost her memory. She couldn't remember any incident that had happened in the past. It was diagnosed that she suffered from Misattribution - a type of memory loss. ♦️ Misattribution occurs when one remember something accurately in part but misattributes some detail, like the time, place, or person involved. ♦️ She only remembered that she was a cartoonist in a news paper by profession, as informed by her mother. But she didn't remember where she worked or where her office was. ♦️ Samira puts a lot of emphasis on her memory but still she fails to remember anything. ♦️ Amidst all this, she remembers only one name 'Kiara' and when she asks her mother about it, she says that she has never heard this name before and there is no such person in her knowledge. ♦️ This is where the real beginning of the book begins. Who is Kiara after all? How is she related to Samira? Or is it all just Samira's illusion? ♦️ You will find answers to all these questions in this well written book. ♦️ Think for a moment that you woke up one morning and you don't remember anything in your life. How would you feel? ♦️ Your life has become a blank paper. Every moment in your past life, every story, you are completely lost and now you are in search of your existence. ♦️ The writing of the book is so brilliant that a reader can feel for himself the turmoil going on in Samira's life. ♦️ The thrill of this story increases with every page of the book and that is the biggest beauty of this book. ♦️ If you are also fond of reading mystery thriller then you must read this book.
I have seen lots of movies based on the concept where the lead character loses his or her memory due to a mishap and after gaining consciousness tries to revive the scattered pieces of zigsaw puzzle to make sense of things . This riveting novel is also based on a similar sort of theme.
The author is well known for his creative digs. Be it his Rhythm Roger or this book both his novels explore those less heard aspects of things . Samaira is in hospital bed for more than half a year now and can only remember bits and pieces from her past . The entry of Rohan made her uncomfortable at the beginning but gradually their love is rekindled. Suspicious calls from a person named Kiara raise too many eyebrows.
The novel is a fast paced iconic thriller . It feels like a bit stretched Crime Patrol or infact Savdhaan India episode as every character seems to have grey shade . The only thing I dint like about this story is too much sexual narration which wasn't really needed and make it unfit for people of all age groups. As the cover suggests that this book is soon to be a motion picture so may be author wrote it keeping its screen adaptation in mind.
If you are a fan of thrillers and enjoy good plot twists, you must read "She Erased Her" by Himanshu Rai. I'm not gonna give a lot of details about the plot in my review. This book is so full of gore and dark incidents. One might say that this is a book about revenge. This is definitely not a book for younger readers though :) So much happened in the course of this book and I might not have enjoyed some parts of it. But I did like the overall experience of the book!
4.7/5⭐ A thrilling & gripping fast paced murder mystery with plot twists! Loved the way the author connected all the dots at the end & had a very meaningful yet unpredictable ending. The title makes so much more sense after reading the story :D I would suggest you to dive into this book without knowing much to enjoy it to the fullest! The only reason why this book wasn't a 5 star read for me is the trope, it's a very common & overused trope but the author did an extraordinary job at writing which made this book stand out. Only trigger warning : Rape Would definitely recommend it to anyone into the mystery/thriller/suspense genre !
"She erased her" is a thriller that will give the readers sleepless nights if they pick this book as a bedtime read like me. The story is about finding the real identity, real culprit and seeking justice through revenge. The Author in order to make this perfect nail biting thriller has offered a plot where our protogonist Samira has no memory of her past due to the accident and coma effect. She had no interest to regain her memory until she is stalked by someone called Kaira.
Samira, in order to find the kaira and her motive must dig in to her past where Kaira hides but she is alone in her journey as nobody not even her mother and her love have heard of kaira. The story also offers the sweet erotic relationship.. The story is gripping since the beginning and never did I loose interest. However while creating confusing plot, there are around three mistakes. Rohan Tyagi's and Samira's Identity plays the vital part where I found a mistake. And Natasha's case felt incomplete and not justified. Also at some point the narration feels very unrealistic.
Coming to the Characters, I admired Rohan's love and care towards samira and it was totally shocking to read the ending. This book talks about less spoken topic i.e Male Rape. The character of Amod Tyagi too felt good. It was a total thriller which has unpredictable ending and a perfect revenge. The most interesting part was the final chapter as I got all the answers and it was hard to accept the story. Recommended to all suspense thriller readers.
She Erased Her is the story of Samira who is trying to get back to her normal life after a massive car accident that landed her in coma for 8 months and subsequently caused her memory loss. But even though she attempts to move on with her life and towards a new beginning, glimpses of her past come back to haunt her.
The book stays true to its genre and delivers an unpredictable plot with necessary confusions and twists characteristic of any good thriller, mystery, and crime fiction. The way the story is presented as well as the sequence of the plot contribute in creating a page turner that can keep a reader hooked to the book. Despite so many characters and a lot happening within less than 150 pages, the book, quite surprisingly, rounds up the story pretty well. More importantly, the story addresses some very real issues of our judiciary system where actual criminals often live unscathed and innocent people (especially men) are put behind bars due to false allegations.
However, the beginning seemed a bit unrealistic to me, and impractical even. Another thing that really disappointed me was the bad editing. And it's not just one or two, but there's a lot of grammatical mistakes. Not to be a grammar nazi, but so many errors can break the pace of reading a good book, at least for me. When I'm reading a published book in English, I expect it to be error-free.
Note: I usually don't consider the editing while rating a review copy but since this is already published and available in the market, I think editing too should be considered in the overall rating of the book. And that's why I'm rating it 3.5 stars, or else the plot is definitely 4.
This is a truly page turner thriller read. I read such a masterpiece after long and it was definitely worth it. 🤩
The story starts where the protagonist Samira has woke up from coma after her accident eight months ago🔙 and she has totally lost her memories.😮 However, with help of her mom, she tries to recollect about her childhood. But one name always rings in her head, Kiara.🙄 Now, no-one knows anything about who Kiara is. And then Samira meeta Rohan on Facebook and learnt that he is her boyfriend from college and she fell in love with him.👩❤️👨 Till this, everything seemed simple. But then the twists and turns started when some suspicious incidents occurred like kidnapping of Rohan and Samira's mother went missing.🧐
Police inspector Rao is very intelligent.🕵🏻♂️ He tried to dig everything but somehow he knew there were some parts of the story missing.🧩 The case was over still he was not satisfied with the conclusion. And then, bang! The author has of course revealed all missing pieces in climax putting the reader on the edge of the seat.🤯
The narration is fast paced. The reader is compelled to read because of curiosity of what will happen and to clear out things.🧐 I was also confused that who is culprit and who is victim.🙄 The author has done great job revealing just the necessary parts after each section keeping the reader hooked.👌 I also liked the courtroom drama narrated. The language is lucid. The characters are well developed.👥 If you are a thriller lover, don't think and just go grab this brilliant book and be ready for one hell of a ride!📖

Rating - 4.8/5
I recommend this book to all specially to thrill and mystery lovers out there.
Samira had a catastrophic misfortune. Samira get up afterward an 8-months unconsciousness hooked on a lifecycle that isn't usual to any further extent. She was make a diagnosis through misattribution. Misattribution is a compassionate of recollection loss. Her momma assistances her to recuperate her reminiscences. She correspondingly free-for-alls to hark back to the dissimilar individuals in her life. The story is very multifaceted. It took me worry at my cranium in misperception additional whiles than I maintenance to confess. The two-person account is tough and, the script is remarkable I didn't actually deliberate hitting the paperback down when I in full swing interpretation it. The phonological cast-off is a bit undeveloped I one way or another wasn't influenced with the characters channel of communication and activities and I touched that they could have been industrialized in a healthier method.
A tale about revenge, written in the most poignant and captivating manner, “She erased her” by “Himanshu Rai” is a treat for fans of thrillers with turns and twists. Samira woke up from a coma after eight months, and he had no memories of her past. He met with an old person from her past through social media. And then starts the bizarre events in her life. each turning page weaved the net of lies, pain, and cheat. When I finished reading this book, I exhaled. It was just too much! This is a skillfully written book; the author has created a shocking and brilliant narrative. Seen from Samira’s viewpoint, the story begins in a standard suspense setting with dealing with everyday dilemmas. Then in a shocking and unexpected curve, the plot takes the readers on a breathtaking ride of thrill. Dramatic scenes with sexual assault and blood and gore. The book is more suitable for mature readers due to violence, and erotic graphics. Overall, I would highly recommend this book to fans of accurately developed characters, compelling plots and for fans of genre-melding mystery works.
The title of the book and the cover of the page interlinks with the storyline barely. How the protagonist struggles with her lost identity and her muted past with vibrant threatening.
Samaira the protagonist has lost her memory for the last 8 months with an accident. However, she tries to lead a positive life with her lost identity. Hence she is searching for her muted past with no clues. Fortune and misfortune play a role in her life. Fortunately, she has got a connection with her friend Rohan. Unfortunately, she has threatened to leave him by an unknown person Kiara. What happened in her past life? Who is Kiara? A lot of questions arose in my mind while reading. The author resolves the tangles literally with a slow phase.
Language is rational. The plot construction is intriguing. Characters are well developed.
Overall, good storyline with suspense and thrilling.
She erased her is a crime thriller novel, which is based on a girl, Samaira, who lost her memories after a major car accident. All her memories come from what her mom tells her, since she doesn't have any social media accounts, or old photos from before to help her. Suddenly, she starts getting weird letters from another girl Kiara, whom she cannot remember totally. She meets this girl, and the girl gets murdered within an hour. The story starts rolling from there.
The story was pretty good, although the plot setting of a girl with amnesia was quite old. The twists and turns provided is enough to make your head spin. What I felt could have been better is, if the details and descriptions of all the characters and events were less. That would make the story a relatively smaller one and easier to read. But anyways, the ending was quite good and mysterious. That made up for the rest of the drama in the book.
Have your read this one yet? What is your thought on this book?
She Erased Her by Himanshu Rai Book Review: Before I start talking to about this book, I would like to give here a trigger warning. This book is not for the faint hearted and if you are wanting to pick up this book for your next read, then some parts of this book might not work for you because this book is about lust, sex, rape and the erotic ridden with mystery that in every pages of it's contents asks, are the women at all save in this world? The work revolves around Samira who is suffering from memory loss of a very difficult and different kind, after she recovers from her coma after facing a disastrous accident, where she only remains parts of her past and sometimes remembers certain things that may be figmants of her imagination collected from somewhere but is essentially not a part of her past. In short, she has lost most of her memory. Slowly, though she comes back to her normal life with her help of her mother, but here things starts of turn bizarre for her. Some people does not want her to return to her own normal self and starts to threaten and blackmail her with her life. At this point, she meets Rohan, her ex boyfriend who reunites with her and helps her to remember their sweet and romantic moments spent together from the past and both love madly in love anew. Soon, they also become passionate physically and starts to explore pleasures of the flesh. For Rohan, I have strongly felt after I finished reading the book those encounters where sexcapades but for Samira those were pure love, both platonic and of pleasure in nature. I have many reasons to feel this way because this book has many layers to it and like me, as the readers will progess with this book, they too will doubt Rohan. Is he really what he seems? Is he trustworthy? Is he not showing overt empathy to a girl like Samira who has already lost a lot of her life to a dreaded accident? And who is Kiara and why is she sending notes to Samira telling her to be careful? Well, due to all this encounters and circumstances shown and being present in the characters, things start taking up quite a bizarre turn and here in the plot the book opens becomes quite clear and evitable to it's readers that what it has tried to show and convey through it's various stages and colours. First of all, this book is about identity where one girl clears the identity of the other to give justice to three girls together along with many other girls around the world who are brutally ditched in love and suffer rape. Here, the title also becomes relevant because soon through various turn of events readers will come to know that a Samira becomes a Neha and a Neha becomes a Samira only to save a dead Kiara, second, this work talks about a man whose lust leads to his destruction and destruction of all others around him and how an elderly father figure tries to guard that same man who is a murdered and a rapist. At the end this book will say that everything cannot be changed or brought by money, lives can only be changed if we become more respectful, clever, careful, kind and loving to all the human beings around us especially women and if all the criminals in this world would be punished brutally for crimes against a women's pious body and exploiting her without her consent. In this book, the author has shown the psychology of a criminally insane where he never has stopped himself from mishandling bodies of women whether that be of a mother or of a daughter. At the end, this book is about the girl 's fight to promote justice and keep safe a mother 's heart broken after the end of her only daughter cause at times it becomes necessary to change identity, erase personality to expose a demon roaming about freely amidst a proper society. An erotic romance thriller and a faced paced read, this book also has used the red color to be the most prominent and here I felt it a quite unique ideology has come up in sense that though red mostly stands for blood and power, here it stood for strength as well because power never own in this work against the willpower of a simple yet stubborn and determined girl.

Title - She Erased Her Author - Himanshu Rai @authorhimanshu Format - Paperback Number Of Pages - 219 Rating - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Firstly I would like to thank the author for writing this book. It is one of the best thrillers , I've ever come across.
Samira was the protagonist of the story however there was a twist that you'll not expect but you have to read the book till the end for that. Okay so Samira met with an accident few months ago and went to coma. Waking up , she realises that she wasn't able to recall her past. She didn't remember anyone , not even herself. She was a cartoonist and started going to her office everyday. She met everyone for the first time and experienced flashbacks but as soon as she tried recalling anything , it gave her immense pain. One day , a random guy texted her on Facebook and asked her to meet him. She met Rohan and he told her that they both dated and Samira believed it too. They started their relationship again. Everything was fine until one day , Kiara entered the story. She started stalking Samira and sent her bouquets with notes to stay away from Rohan. But was Kiara real or Samira was facing psychological distress ? There was a Rohan in Kiara's life and one in Samira's life too but were they two different people or both of them together weaved a conspiracy ? Connecting dots after every chapter became my habit. I was so inquisitive to know that what would happen next.
I found it a bit errotic but the title as well as the writing style was very bold. This story consists of elements like love , lust , revenge , power , heartbreak , seperation etc.
My favourite characters : Neha , Avanti , Rao
Honestly I cannot review this book and pour my heart out , there's so much to say but I just can't express. The plot was intriguing and let me tell you that each and every character played their respective roles beautifully. The storyline was so fascinating and kept me hooked , didn't interrupt the flow!
I'll highly recommend this book as it was a roller coaster ride for me. I hope it'll be engaging for you too.
"She Erased Her" by Himanshu Rai is a book filled with love, lust, revenge, betrayal, and many more thrilling to read subjects. This book will blow your mind with its unique twists. The characters in this book are written really well as well which is a must in a book for me. Each character has been made very complicated and as the story progresses, it becomes known about all the characters. The protagonists in this story are - A girl named Samira and a boy named Rohan. Samira wakes up from a coma after a long gap of eight months and finds that she does not remember any moment of her life. As I mentioned earlier, there are many twists in this story so Samira meets a boy who claims to be her boyfriend. Neither does Samira know that he is her boyfriend nor does she know what happened in the accident involving her going into a coma. How will this story go forward? Will Samira ever find out about the truth that might break her into pieces? This book goes on and on with some great twists and turns. The great thing about this book is that while the author has tried to portray the perspective of both the characters, he has also been successful in it in the best way. While reading this book, the story of this book was going on in my mind and at the same time many questions were also going on like is Rohan really with Samira? Did Samira really have an accident or was it someone's well-intentioned conspiracy and if it was, then whose was it? In this story, Inspector Rao completely opens the relationship of everyone in front of the readers so that we can finally know what happened in the end. Also I love the way he detailed every single character, the surroundings taking place during each arc of the story is just mind blowing. I've read a book by Himanshu sir before as well and with all honesty, I love his way of writing and how he brings the story to life. I loved every minute of going through this book and it was really enjoyable to read. I highly recommend you guys to give this book a try. This book will surely be a memorable read for a lot of people I'm sure of it. 🌼❤️

But Rohan did something very wrong in his past because of which Amod didn't feel like helping his son.
Review The plot has many twists and turns with many revelations. The author has penned down about a girl who was fighting for giving justice to his friends. The storyline is engrossing but I felt it could have been framed in a better way. The author through this book gave a very deep message about the rape victims and mentioned the importance of proper parenting and guidance. A lot of things happened in this story. I finished reading it within two sittings. The title suits the content of this book and the cover is fine. If you are someone who loves a story combined with thriller, crime and mystery, then you can check out this book.
✒️Oh my gosh. I had already added this to my twisted hall of fame shelf!!
✒️Where to start? This is hands down the twistiest, fastest, funnest-to-read, suspense thriller in ages. A short read...
✒️It was the cover that first caught my eye. I loved it. And after reading the description for this novel, I couldn't wait to read it.
✒️Story is about Samira Sinha and her life. She was a normal girl, who lives with her mom. Samira met with an accident, coz of that she lost her memory and comes under a condition "Misattribution" and was in coma for 8 long months. Because of this everything changed, it affects her entirely.
✒️And, finally one fine dat after going through all these she remembered a name "KIARA" and but Kiara not even showing herself infront of Samira. Rohan, a guy who claimed himself her boyfriend. Is he her boyfriend? Every person she knows after this memory loss is hiding something from her. She is lost in this fake world. No more spoilers...
"Assume nothing" Who is telling the truth? Who can be trusted?
✒️At first found the beginning a little slow, but then I realized that the author was trying to set the scene by giving some background. It wasn't long before I was pulled into the story and the lives of these characters. I was so sure where things were headed. I was in shock at the first twist, confused and to thinking I read something wrong or missed a page. It was so unexpected... But I loved it. I really appreciate when a story is able to blindside me like that.
✒️The biggest enjoyment was trying to fit clues together and do double takes when surprising chunks fell from the sky. I don't want my entire reading diet to be this genre..but when I do pick one - I want the spicy elements of the guessing game to pull the rug out from under me... "SHE ERASED HER" YANKED the rug...
✒️Totally recommended....Go buy your copy to know more about Samira, her story before and after accident. Hats off to Himanshu Rai for this wonderful short thriller read...
"She Erased Her" by Himanshu Rai is an amazing crime thriller story of a girl named Samira. She woke up from a coma after 6 months and had forgotten everything about her past. She only remembers one name that is Kaira from her past, but she doesn't know who is she and how she is connected to her. She started searching for her past identity and came across a boy named Rahul Verma, a forensic expert who claims to be her boyfriend from her college days. She was getting messages from Kaira telling her to stay away from Rohan. They both were gone for a vacation in Nanital where Rohan gets abducted and raped. Later he was charged with the murder of Samira's mother and the rape of Samira. But now comes a twist that Kaira got killed in a car accident and Rohan Verma, who told her to be her college mate never had any girl in her college named Samira.
From here the story takes a new and totally unexpected turn and it gets more and more interesting. I was feeling an adrenaline rush while reading the story. I chose this book because of the title of the book and I am glad I read this book. The language is lucid and the story is full of twists, suspense and thrill. I read this book in one sitting as I was totally hooked by the story and I could not resist reading further and knowing what happens in the end. I was quite shocked by the ending. I would recommend this book, especially to beginners as I have already said the language is easy and even the story is not too big it's only a 135-page story.
Who is Samira? Who is Kaira? How can Kaira give the message to Samira when she is dead? Who is this Rohan Verma, who claims to be her college mate? How can Rohan murder or rape When she himself was abducted and raped? What was Samira up to? To know the answers to all the questions you have to read the book yourself.
Do read this book and don't forget to share your thoughts in the comment section.
I consider myself fortunate that this year i read tons of thriller and suspense thriller books and to be honest each and every one of them has been so far so good.
She Erased Her by author Himanshu Rai is one of kind thriller book that i’ve read recently and honestly each and every chapter of the book are depicted so nicely that it keeps the readers engaged to the storyline all along.
The main storyline revolves around Samira Sinha who was injured in an deadly accident and was in coma for 8 months and after that she suffered from misattribution as in a kind of memory loss, so she makes different attempts to recover her old memories and in that process she gets in touch with her college friend Rohan who tells her that they dated back in college days and she believes him and they were dating again but she was being disturbed by the name “Kiara” and she believed that she knew her from past and she was following samira and watching her.
Different event occurs in a short span of time and samira’s life takes a turn and she is confused about her existence and she’s not able to differentiate between the real and her thoughts about Kiara and all along with this there’s a suspense about Rohan that no one knew before and he had a plan of his in action.
I would not give any spoilers because there are many things that i’ve not explained in the review because they’re the main plots of the story and for one to experience the entire thriller they should at-least read this book once because im sure that you’ll not regret reading this one as it has a huge plot at the end.
The author had done a great job at depicting the events in the storyline, the language of the book is super nice and easily understood to everyone. I’ve read Rhythm Roger book of the author so i was damn sure that this one was also gonna be as awesome as that one.
🕯️ Imagine that one day you wake up from coma and realise that your identity has been altered forcefully. You don't remember anything and feel utterly helpless. Well that's how the premise of this take begins. -- 🕯️This story is about th journey of our protagonist Samira Sinha towards seeking the truth of her real identity. After being in coma for the past 8 months and waking up not remembering her past, she feels numb and strange! Out of the blue, she meets a guy called Rohan on Facebook and he claims to be her ex-boyfriend. As she slowly adapts to her new life, she receives threats to stay away from Rohan, from a mysterious girl names Kiara! -- 🕯️Samira feels there's someone constantly following her and keeps a tab on her every move. As she tries to travel back to her past to understand who she really is, macabre events start to unfold making unexpected twists and convoluted characters with a shocking revelation in the end. With some characters named similarly, there's plenty of second guessing at every page! -- 🕯️I've read Himanshu's earlier books that dealt with romance, then sci-fi and now thriller. I've to say this that he's come a long way with his writing skills, plot development and good characterisation! The way he contradicts the facts that he's established in every chapter is commendable and plays mind games with us readers. The title and cover compelled me to buy this book and I will highly recommend this for beginners, who are looking to try thrillers. Also, this is a story of a girl's solo fight against injustice compelled to alter her identity, erase her existence and ceased to survive. -- 🕯️The one thing that I felt was a let down is the writing style, which feels a bit amateurish for a genre like thriller. But if you're someone who loves a good plot compared to the writing, then I'm sure you'll enjoy this thriller!
There are only a few such stories that make you swoon and make you think. I was very excited when author Himanshu announced this book and also wrote in his social media post that at the end of this novel, the title of the next Rhythm Roger next book will be revealed.
Thanks to Author Himanshu for providing me this book early in the morning on the day of its release.
Story and Characters:
Samira and Rohan are the main characters of this story. Sometime back, Samira gets into a road accident and falls into a coma. After coming back from a coma, she has no recollection of her old life. On Facebook, she got a friend request from a boy named Rohan who claims to her that he is her boyfriend. The two meet again started loving each other and do sex whenever they got the chance to do so. The first twist in the story comes when a girl named Kiara threatens her and instructs Samira to stay away from Rohan.
To this point, it will look like a straight simple revenge story, in which Kiara wants to take revenge on Samira, etc., but another twist comes when she recalls her old days and realizes that her whole life is a sham. I want to tell more about the story but it will be a spoiler, I want people to buy this book and know what a crime and mystery story is.
To understand this wonderful story, I wrote the name of each character on the board like Inspector Rao did and shed light on everyone's relationship with each other as Inspector Rao did in the story.
It is said that in this world only two people can do a perfect murder, first the criminal himself and the second crime novelist, my mind was satisfied after reading this entertaining novel of Himanshu Rai.
I want to thank the author who after a long time gave me a chance to read the great and best Crime, Thriller & Mystery story.
If you are in for a mystery thriller that would have you hooked till the very last page then this book is the right pick.
The protagonist of the story, Samira Sinha got a second lease of life when she recovered from coma after meeting with an accident 8 months back. Still this new life didn't feel like a boon to Samira as she has no recollection pf her life before the accident. With the motivation from her mother and the hope of getting back to her job, she left thinking about her past and ventured ahead towards a new future. Life took a beautiful turn when she met with the man of her dreams, Rohan Verma, who she realized was one person who knew about her past. Just when she started enjoying her romantic tryst, she started getting threatening messages from a mysterious woman named Kiara and was also getting stalked by a man wherever Samira went.
To make it all the more worse, she started getting disturbing flashes from her past which gave her the impression that the bruises on her body were not just the result of her car accident. She decided to investigate her past only to come across some shocking and life-shattering revelations.
She Erased Her is a highly recommended read which is simply unputdownable. As any other suspense storylines, readers might continue to second guess what must have happened but it is not till the end that you get the entire picture, and that is a good quality of a crime thriller. Himanshu Rai has done a commendable job in weaving the chilling sequences that would keep you at the edge of your seat. The only reason I did not give it a full 5-star rating is because the sentence structure could have been better which might have enhanced the writing composition. All in all, grab this book and enter into the roller coaster ride of whodunit!
Book-She Erased Her Author- Genre-Fiction(Erotic Crime Thriller) Publisher-
This book starts with the Protagonist of the story Samira Sinha, who had been in coma for six months and had forgotten everything about her past. She remembers her Mom and only one name that is Kiara. She kept asking her mother about her accident and Kiara but she also refused to know this name.
She started searching for her past identity and came across a boy named,Rohan Verma,a Forensic Expert. He claims to be his boyfriend. They started meeting and getting closer. But soon she started receiving messages from Kiara telling her to stay away from Rohan.
Samira was very tensed and stressful so her mother suggested her to take a break and leave the city for Nanital.Rohan went along with her. They reached Nanital and their visit to Nanital brought a twist pin the story.Rohan gets kidnapped and raped.
Later he was charged with the rape of Samira and murder of Samira's mother. But now comes a twist that Kiara and her boyfriend Rohan Verma got killed in a car accident and there was no girl named Samira in their college. It was a spine chilling moment for me.I was feeling adrenal rush while reading this.
There were so many questions in my mind.Who was Kiara and Rohan Verma. If Rohan Verma and Kiara was dead, who is this Rohan Verma who claims to be Samira's boyfriend and if Kiara was dead who is this Kiara who is sending threat messages to Samira? How can Rohan Verma rape or murder Samira and Samira's mother when he himself gets abducted and raped? To know what happened in the end,i want you guys to read this amazing book.
I totally loved this unique and amazing story which engages me till end.The language used is flowy and lucid. You can read it in one sitting also.
Note-This books contains elements of sex, lust, rape and murders. So i don't recommend it to faint hearted and below 18.
