Tärkeitä pointteja, joita yritän muistaa.
- Kehossa oleva stressi pitää purkaa pois liikkeellä.
- Jos tavoite jäi toteutumatta, vaihda tavoitetta jälkikäteen. Tuntuu heti paremmalta.
- Ihmisenä oleminen on aaltoilua.

If you are late realising just how much stress is part of being a woman (like me!) or even if you are not late, I recommend this book for tips on how to take care of yourself. Some of this info I knew through my counselling trainings but some I did not and there is always more to learn. Recommended read for any woman who has stress (Everyone?) and/or anxiety, some of the info and tips in this book might help. I will be keeping it nearby to refer back to. I also loved the TL;DR: at the end of each chapter :-)

Absolutely loved it. I think all women or people who identify as women should read this book. It puts life into perspective and makes many aspects of life a lot clearer. Having a hard copy is ideal as there are little work areas that you can write in.

I am the kinda person who loves books and doesn’t like writing on them, but I took and pencil and highlighters to this book because it had so many good points.

Solid 3.5

This was a humanizing book about how likely women are to burn out due to societal structures. There was a lot of great analogies and background on why and what to do but most of it I knew it. It ended up being great reminders, if anything. The authors made it an easy read and humorous at times, which I appreciate being self-help books can be dry af. It’s definitely a worthy, quick audible!

Loved this book. Was quite confronting to read at first given my own experience with burn out but it was what I needed to read. I especially loved the intersectionality and the focus on women’s experiences within the patriarchy. I think I will need to read this again in order to fully absorb and take on board all of the concepts and lessons.

Charming and cute and nice... but ultimately a lot of the information it has I already had from other sources. Not particularly useful to me.

Still, it's well written and I liked some concepts (the caretakers vs. building up your "legend").

Few interesting ideas, but mostly stuff you have already heard. Did expect more. Don’t buy the hardcopy version the font is so hard to read 😂

Incredible book. The blend of leading researchers and personal stories allowed this book to be deeply funny, feminist and humanising.
