Book three and the story continues. It’s a dark and exciting journey full of mystery and intrigue as once again we follow our night rangers off on their adventure! Well written this series is highly entertaining and enjoyable as we jump on this action packed rollercoaster with some amazing characters set in an incredible world created by the author. Old Friends. Family Ties. Strange Sorcery. Things are really heating up now and I for one cannot wait to read book four!

Well, one thing you can say for the magical realms of the S.P.M.A.; most of them sparkle. And even now, after so many dangerous adventures, most of them continue to sparkle, including most of the new ones that Guppy Grayling and her Night Ranger friends are discovering.
In Rising Fires, the young Night Rangers are introduced to the Sky Realms. There seem to be about a dozen or so main Sky Realms, as well as some smaller ones. With assistance from Sianna Follygrin and Kaira Renn, the Night Rangers visit the central realm, Devreack, and its ruler, the fading Winter King, Thylas Renn. They engage in a small battle with another sky realm, Kelph, a realm reputed to be populated by pirates and creatures called Bloodseekers, who are not quite vampires, but close.
After they witness the peaceful death of Thylas, (who seems to be a good sort, though he is frightening, even in his decline) the friends return to the Cendryll, where Guppy’s brother, Jacob, and Kaira’s father, Casper Renn, are doing their best to prevent Thylas’ heir, Taeia Renn, from abandoning his duty to Devreack and joining forces with Kelph instead. Sadly, Taeia seems determined to give in to the darkness, and it looks like there will be another war coming up for Guppy and her friends.

Taeia, Conrad, Guppy, Jacob, Noah and Lucy—these are night rangers and the young ones protecting the S.P.M.A. Kaira is gone and they don’t know where she is. The last war they fought took a big toll on her as she lost her grandfather who she just met and he saved her. The Night Rangers work in groups of four. Taeia is the leader of a group and his last name is Renn and Jacob is a teacher leading the other 4 are a group. Thayla is the king of the Winter castle in the sky realm and is the most powerful of the groups in the sky realm which are not all out for good. When Taeia turns 18 he will be the new king but he doesn’t know it yet and he is not a nice person. The bad groups are fighting to get him on their side. Conrads group goes to Sianna Follygrin for help and training and they have one day before the king dies while they are with him. Taeia comes into his power and leaves SPMA and his eyes turn black and he leaves on a black williynx which means he has gone to the dark side. Will he grow and will he change and take over as the Winter king—we will have to keep reading to find out. We also don’t know about Kaira—will she be up for another fight or will she sit it out. I loved this book and can’t wait for the next. I highly encourage this book for kids and adults!!

Guppy, Conrad, Noah, and Lucy face new dangers in the sky realms when the fading Winter King requests their help to protect his realm from the Bloodseekers and a host of deadly enemies. Kaira is not ready to trade her new-found peace for more battle scars but the safety of her friends and the SPMA may force a decision.
The fertile imagination of R. A. Lindo has delivered another paranormal jewel!

I love this book series!!! If you like a pinch of Harry Potter with a pinch of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, with a whole lot of uniqueness that makes it a tale of its own, then you'll love this book and the entire series. Superb characters, strong storyline, and they are so entertaining! Enjoy!

excellent reading.Guppy and Conrad go to the Sky realm to meet the Ice King who is slowly dying. His heir is Taeia who was previously Ranger but went. Jacob Guppy's brother is try in reform him but no one knows the outcome.Only time will tell. Well worth reading.
