I sit having confronted my darkest parts, as much as I know how. These are words, thoughts and beliefs that differ from my father’s that I use to live by. For the first time they are mine and writing this book was the next step for me. What is the next step for you?
No one teaches us how to deal with the feelings that come up, or the emotions that keep us frozen in place. This book, will help you learn why feelings comes up, where they come from, and how to overcome them. THOSE feelings are what keep us from the life we want. I am not a perfect person, parent, friend, or coach, but I have forgiven myself and accepting my darkness gave me that. Let me show you how to take action by sharing what I have learned and giving you the tools to take your next step.

I started on 3 stars honestly, found it a bit shallow at first, but I came across some very surprisingly eye opening great points that gave a new direction of looking at myself - as an adult and as a kid -, my flaws, my handicap and how to continue live with them, that I will be forever grateful for.
Provides a map to figure out why we are the way we are. Explain that our behavior is the response to trauma. It's not your fault nor the people who cause the trauma. They were doing the best they could while dealing with their trauma. Lists exercises to create new neural pathways to free you from the worse day cycle.
I really enjoyed how Kenny opens up about some very difficult topics to navigate. In doing so he guided me through some challenges I was having and reinforced exactly where I needed to grow. Thankyou Kenny! Your making a difference
