Sex on the beach with a smoking hot stranger… I blame the tequila. And the way he rode the waves like he owned them. And the delicious way the water trickled down over his washboard abs and the V thingy. And the fact that I’m on the trip that was supposed to be my honeymoon until I caught the bastard cheating. Yeah, I’m going to blame it on all that. Because reckless behavior is so not usually me. But surfer god Fyn is a breath of fresh air I so badly need. A break from reality of the world around me. One he seems to need, too. It’s a single wild moment in my otherwise structured life that seems to be crumbling. A perfect snapshot in time… Until the royal guard shows up looking for him. Turns out the king of the waves is actually a prince. A real one next in line for the throne. And I just banged him on the sand. People say a one-night stand can be good for you, especially after a break-up. I’m starting to question that advice. Because finding my prince is only the beginning… Things are about to get royally complicated.
Royally Complicated is a stand-alone royal romance with a bad boy prince and good girl commoner, forbidden love, opposites attract, intrigue, deception, and tons of steam that will leave you wanting your own prince from USA Today Bestselling Authors Gwyn McNamee and Christy Anderson.
Bridget caught her disgusting fiance cheating on her, so this book gets going while she's on the honeymoon with her best friend. She comes across a surfer god named Fyn, and she hooks up with him. Little does this hurt girl know, Fyn is actually the crown Prince of Lovolia which she finds out unexpectedly. I'm totally weak for these types of books because a royal with a commoner is so delicious in my eyes. They spend some time apart before they end up coming face to face again, and this time, Fyn talks her into coming home with him. This is when all the royal intrigue really pops off which is always a draw for me as it keeps me on the edge of my seat while saying a lot of colorful metaphors, not to mention the twists coming in hot. And you already know that he's supposed to marry another royal so there's all the complications from him wanting an American commoner. Bottom line, this author duo slayed Royally Complicated, and I LOVED every minute, and I believe you will as well so hit those one click buttons! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
4.5 stars Royally Complicated is a stand-alone forbidden romance tale with a bad boy. Who doesn’t love a bad boy story. The book is a really good read however a little cliché. But Gwyn and Christy do throw in a little turmoil and a few tough emotions that gives the story just that bit more making it a must read. It is fun and sexy and sweet and spicy, and the writing draws you in. The chemistry between Bridget and Fyn is off the charts. When she meets Fyn, the sparks fly. One night is all they thought they would have. It is full of complications, cheating, betrayal, royal duty, some unscrupulous family, prince charming, a kingdom in turmoil, misunderstandings and foes that you may or may not see coming. Royally Complicated is just that and is an emotional read, filled with chaos and drama, action and heart pounding moments and some much-needed humour and love. This steamy read will leave you with all the feels. There are a few of the characters that you will love to hate and hate to love and royal or not you will want to smack them. Overall, the book was a really good read and this writing duo make a good team. I look forward to reading second book in the series.
Royally Complicated by Gwyn McNamee, Christy Anderson is the story of Bridget and Fyn. Bridge was supposed to be on her honeymoon but she found her intended cheating. While taking her honeymoon trip anyway she meets Fyn and they have a hot night together. Later she finds out he is the crown Prince of Lovolia. Bridge comes back about a year later and they meet again and he talks her into staying with him although nothing can really come of it since he is a Prince and she is a commoner. But their feelings start to dictate otherwise. Enjoyed this book.
“I want you to know that no matter what happens when we get in there, no matter what my mother or father or anyone else might do or say, you’re where you’re supposed to be. Here with me. We’ll figure all of this out, love. I promise.”
I simply adored this story. It was romantic, had some mystery/suspense, and was oh so spicy! Prince Fynix is every girls fairytale dream come to life. He’s a bit of a bad boy, but still charming and romantic, and the mouth on him is just 🔥🔥. Bridget is such a relatable character and her chemistry with Fynix was off the charts! This was a perfect, steamy summer read.
“No one is coming out here. Trust me. This is more secluded than anywhere else in the palace. And while I can’t wait to have you in my bed, to take you every fucking way under the sun, I need you now, love. I need to feel your heart beating rapidly. I need to hear you screaming, begging me for more. I need the bite of your nails scoring down my back as I pound into you. Your cunt tightening and rippling along my cock as you come.”
This was the first book I’ve read by either author and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this! I will definitely be checking out more of their work. I can’t wait to read Lev and Daphne’s story next!!
Who doesn’t want to fell for a prince? This duo wrote a hell of a book. The story was fantastic and the authors surprised me. I thought okay, the premise is good, ista love okay... but then came out the messy part and all the trouble since Fyn is a real prince. I love it!
This is a Hallmark Movie gone R rated in all the best ways. A royal bad boy meets an unsuspecting tourist and what is supposed to be a one night stand turns into so much more. The chemistry between Fyn and Bridgette is off the charts in this scorching hot, royal romance that is all about second chances and fighting for what you want.
Suggested pairings include margarita’s and sex on the beach. The cocktail….get your mind out of the gutter 😏
I loved this story! It was such a cute and spicy story. I loved that even with them being from such different backgrounds they had so much in common and brought out the best in each other. I loved finding out who was behind the movement in his country and was not expecting that!
This is a classic tale of the extraordinarily ordinary girl finding true love with prince charming - after a bit of running, cruel snippets, stolen moments, betrayals, and... Did I mention Prince Charming's kingdom is in a state of possible uprising?
"I will follow you to the ends of the earth because I am absolutely 100 percent in love with you"
From the first meet-cute misunderstanding (mild way to put it) these two were destined for a happily ever after It just took a whole lot of faith and a little time to get there
This was a smidge of sweet blended with a dash of spicy topped off with a BAM of smexy, romance We had a few bottom-feeder greedy royals A couple of "can they survive this" as well as a few heart-stopping moments when I closed my eyes (yes I had to eventually open them to see if everyone was okay) Sprinkled amongst all the chaos was a healthy dose of humor
I enjoyed that Fyn knew what he wanted and wasn't afraid to do what was necessary to achieve it So many of the issues were resolved before things got out of hand
A few of the characters will stay with me Some not in a good way Queenie needed to check herself Abagail - self-absorbed princess - needed a trip to the time-out chair 💺
A steamy adult-rated fairy tale read that leaves the reader with all those pesky happily ever after feels
This book 😍😍 Spice 2.7 🌶 we get some very hot scenes, some dirty words, a little secret exhibitionism.. woo 🥵 the words coming out of this Princes mouth had me going!
Trope(s): ✔️ Royal/Commoner ✔️ Prince Bad Boy ✔️ Light Suspense
Poor Bridget has to go on her would be honeymoon with her best friend because she catches Ole Barry (eww) cheating on her - luckily before they walked down the isle.
Luckily for Bridget the trip was non refundable and she finds her self drunk off cheap tequila watching the Prince surf on his private beach…
Sparks fly between them and really the rest is Royally Complicated lol
I loved the chemistry between Fynix and Bridget - it seemed so easy.. I was jealous! Their communication was lacking in some points but they were able to get to know each other at the same time. I hated when she went off and they were separated for a year… think of the things that could have been different. Once she made it back to him - it was just a continuous path of love.
I was not expecting that betrayal - even though Abigail was a snooty woman and didn’t seem very royal to me! She got what was coming to her, I wish we knew her “why”.
All in all this book really gave me almost everything I wanted: insta love, smut, drama, danger, an emotional grow up. I do however wish we could have seen Barry’s reaction to Bridget’s royal hubby - would have been a great F you.
Anyone who loves fairy tales that involve sexy a prince charming, an unsuspecting heroine, and lots of steamy scenes will undoubtedly fall in love with Prince Fynix and Bridget. It is a feel-good story where the romance sweeps you away into a world where anything is possible no matter how complicated.
Unlike Bridget, I did grow up thinking I could be a princess one day, so taking this adventurous journey with them had me smiling at the romantic gestures and all the possibilities for their future.
Royally Complicated has lots, and I mean LOTS, of steamy yet romantic scenes that will turn you on and make you swoon. There are lots of complications to keep things interesting and the perfect amount of angst to have your stomach flip just a bit.
If ever there were a perfect royal romance to pass the summer days, Royally Complicated is one of them. I always love the co-writing of Gwyn McNamee and Christy Anderson. Royally Complicated also has some amazing side characters who will be getting their own book! Sign me up for Lev and Daphne's story. I can't wait to see what their journey looks like and, of course, catch up with Fyn and Bridget.
Royally Complicated by: (A Stand-alone Royal Forbidden Romance) by Gwyn McNamee and Christy Anderson. Bridget is on what was supposed to be her honeymoon. Unfortunately she caught her intended with his secretary, now on this mediterranean island she is with her friend. After her bestfriend tells her stuff she doesn't want to hear she sulks off with a bottle of tequila to drink her sorrows away. What she finds is a gorgeous guy surfing. When he confronts her on the fact she is on a private beach, she finds herself being caught up into having a tryst with the crown Prince. This is their story and it is Royally Complicated. The responsibilities Fynix encounters as the future King weigh heavy on him, especially his obligation to marry a fellow royal. All of that is shot to Hades when he meets an amazing American who rocks his world. The two embark on a journey of a Prince and an American trying to make a relationship works when the odds are most definitely stacked against them. A really good story with some bite to it. More than just a happily ever after. This was my first time reading these two authors and I look forward to reading them again. Loved Fynix. A 5 star for me.
Fynix and Bridget spin a hot fairy tale in this new forbidden romance. It definitely feels like summer up in here with all those sizzling scenes. Who doesn't love it when a prince falls in love with a regular girl? I couldn't get enough. This writer duo hit it out of the ball park. If your thing is falling in love with a rich romantic royal then this book is for you!
Bridget is on her honeymoon sans her husband who cheated on her before the wedding. There she meets a hot surfer, and has a hot time before she learns that Fyn is Prince Fynix, heir to the throne. Complications include a princess his parents want him to wed, a group calling for the abolition of the monarchy, and an ordinary girl who doesn't fit in. A great story, adventure and romance with danger and hot sex. Wonderful.
I heard royal romance between a prince and a commoner and I came running. This book started off with Bridget on what was supposed to be her honeymoon trip until she found her fiancé in the arms of another. In need of some time away, she takes her best friend with her on a trip to Lovolia. Drunk on a bottle of tequila she wanders away and finds herself distracted watching a very hot guy on a surfboard. Sparks fly between them instantly and they have a passionate affair that neither of them could forget. A year later Bridget returns and when Fyn finds her, he's not willing to let her go for anything. The love story between Bridget and Fyn happens very fast, from the first meeting. Bridget is an American but also a romantic, there were moments in which I was like her best friend like I love that you're having a great time but what about your job? and your apartment? Fyn really knew that Bridget was not someone he wanted to let go off and he was making me fall for him right along with Bridget. The spice was super good because Bridget and Fyn are super hot together. There were other royal situations happening behind the scenes but the story intrigued me a lot. It was an especially nice read for me after the super long book slump I had.
Very much enjoyed this Cinderella type story. The meet cute between a drunk woman getting over a cheating ex-fiancée and an undercover and restless prince on his private beach. They forge a connection that night that doesn’t lessen as they attempt to carry on with their lives afterwards. The plot carries on with tons of heat and chemistry, ow drama, disapproving royals, violent rebellion, kidnapping and torture, treason - all leading to an HEA and beautiful epilogue. I know the plot points seem very heavy but I didn’t feel weighed down by too much angst as I read the book. The romance and love between Fyn and Bridget is sweet and passionate keeps the book on track. Fyn is a fantastic book BF. If you’re a sucker for undercover hot royals who fall for everyday American commoners, then this is the story for you.
Talk about spicy and sweet all rolled into one! Fyn and Bridget completely stole my heart. I cannot tell you how many times my heart ached and my stomach fluttered while reading this one. Ms. McNamee has such a way with words (oh and with grabbing my emotions and battering the schiznit out of them) — pair her with Ms. Anderson and you better hold onto your heart.
I have read by books ladies before and enjoyed them. This was no different. Bridget is on what should have been her honeymoon with her friend. While drinking on the beach she meets Fyn. Only to find out that he is the prince. A year later she still can’t stop thinking about him. So, she comes back to their spot to say goodbye only she sees him again and he hasn’t been able to stop thinking about her either. He isn’t going to waste this second chance. He brings her to the palace. Things are going to get interesting. His parents don’t like Bridget, there is a princess who wants Fyn, and lastly the country is going through some unrest involving a rebel group. This book was a great read. Fyn and Bridget have an instant connection. Fyn loves his country. With Bridget at his side, he begins to really step into his role as the future leader of his country. There are some twists and turns and the surprise of who is helping the rebels. Great job ladies. I look forward to Lev’s book.
This isn’t your regular modern day fairytale- it has a lot of steam, some suspense, and even a little violence, making it a book I couldn’t put down! I loved the instant connection that Fyn and Bridget had and I appreciated that this was very fast burn 🔥
While these two had a lot of obstacles to overcome, the biggest being that Fyn is a prince and Bridget am American commoner, we still get to see their relationship grow in a Royal setting and not necessarily in hiding as I would’ve thought. There are some sweet and funny parts with a perfect HEA that gives a peek at the next book which I absolutely love! I can’t wait for what’s next!
Ok that is definitely a megahawt cover… yummy! This is a Royal instalove with a side of steamy book! It captures your attention, sucks you in, and steals your heart! Bridget and Fynix were royalty fun!
What did I like? My favorite part was how Bridget just ogles the guy like he’s the bees knees! Naked, clothed, or in regalia she lusts hard! It went well with the insta but she doesn’t lose the appeal for him at all. I found it sweet!
Would I recommend or buy? All the pomp and circumstance that go with royalty is here, so if your a fan lose yourself in this great read! It definitely had Harry vibes! I’d buy it for that gorgeous cover alone!
I received a complimentary copy to read and offer my opinion.
Wow! I’m so happy I found this series. This was everything! It had passion, heart, love, fire and suspense all in one. I was emotionally all over the place with this book. It made me laugh, had me teary and swoony the entire story. What a ride this was! I call this a modern take on Cinderella but without the evil stepsisters and mother, though the queen had me getting that vibe at first. I was hooked upon the first few words, you might even say upon reading what this book is about. Immediately I had to stop the series I was reading to start this and now I’m continuing the next story. I can’t help myself, I have to see what happens and if it will include the exact same feelings this one conveyed. This was really exciting to me, I haven’t felt this excited about a book in a while when I’ve finished it. Bridget and Fyn were amazing together. I especially loved how Fyn was so vulnerable and himself at first glance of him with Bridget. He surprised me. I thought he would have that cocky attitude and entitled personality I notice with the billionaire books I read, but we’re dealing with royalty and I thought those traits would be apparent in him too but they weren’t. He’s just Fyn, a guy who is a surfer but so happens to be part of a kingdom that resides in a tropical setting which you don’t think of when you hear the word royalty and prince. He gave his heart away the moment he had Bridget and from that moment on, she was his. There wasn’t anything holding him back from allowing love in his life except for his title and what was expected of him. He was honest, humble, open and unguarded around Bridget, as she was to him. He refused to let her go and did everything in his power to get her to stay. Can we say complete swoon! Normally the hero isn’t like this in the books I read so to have this be a factor in the story was amazing! I loved reading how Bridget was going through the motions but didn’t leave completely. When she fully admits to falling for him the cards fell where they may and it was all uphill from there but not without battles, factors and situations that didn’t make it easy. She was there with him and followed her heart, no matter how difficult the issue was and not without disapproval from Daphne who questioned her motives and thoughts the whole time. Bridget was strong, knew when to fight back and when to be silent. She was a good in between with her personality. She wasn’t headstrong or independent that she didn’t believe she needed him, it was middle ground for her and I like the heroines like this. Someone who isn’t too opinionated but also not timid or shy. I loved this book and hope more will be coming from these authors, this is a definite 5 stars for me and I wish I could give it more.
Bridget is on her honeymoon but without the groom, finding that her fiancée was having an affair with his secretary will somewhat put a blip in the plans. So arming herself with her best friend and deciding not to waste the trip she finds herself in Lovolia. When Daphne starts pushing her to forget the idiot she was going to marry and have a holiday fling, but when Daphne comments get too close for comfort off storms Bridget with a bottle of tequila.
While wondering Bridget finds herself on a small beach with no crowds accept a lone man surfing in the sea, when all of a sudden she is starring at the most handsome man she has seen in ages and when he approaches her demanding she leaves the private beach something happens between them that makes it impossible to move. Until advances are made and tequila regrets maybe on the cards.
Fyn has pressures most people could not conceive, the next in the line for King all he wants is to live his life the way he wants to live it, but when the King and Queen are pressuring him to marry Princess Abigail who he does not even like it all becomes too much. Fyn does what he loves to unwind and goes surfing at the private beach until he is rudely interrupted by a trespasser. As Fyn gets to know her better the chemistry between the two of them is off the charts but just as he has found her she vanishes and he is lost.
Over the year of searching for her she shows up back in his life and he is not letting her escape again, but with the unrest in his country can he keep hold of the woman he loves and help save the country he loves from the rebels out to destroy the monarchy?
I have read a lot of Gwyn's books and they all offer strong female leads and this one does not disappoint, although at the beginning Bridget is lost and seems grown down by the end of the story she is determined to fight for her man even if it upsets the Queen/Fyn's mother. Fyn's character has different dimensions and with his strong relationship to his best friend Lev shows another layer to this complicated character.
The story flows and is well written, with twists and turns throughout the story will have you engaged until the end. As this is the first book in the series it sets up the world of Lovolia brilliantly and has you wanting to visit to see the various sites that is described within the pages.
I can't wait to read the next book in this series regarding Lev and Daphne as this seems a fiery relationship in this book.
This is the first book in the Crowned Hearts series and a great start it is. This is definitely more of a modern fairy tale, with a mature spin. This is a well written story about a steamy stranger and sex on the beach. There is forbidden love and opposite attraction. This was a fun read with great characters, steamy moments and a captivating storyline. This is a fantastic story that features a prince and a heartbroken girl.
I truly enjoyed Fyn and Bridget’s story. I love how Fyn was ready to give up everything for Bridget’s love, no matter what. I love how Bridget looked at things very logically and was able to follow her heart to get what she wanted. Fyn is a dirty talking Prince and their chemistry was off the charts. Bridget caught her fiancé cheating on her and what better way to get revenge than to go on your honeymoon with your bestie. Bridget meets Fyn on a secluded beach after watching him surf. Little does she know that he is actually a prince and her life is about to get a whole lot more complicated. Fyn is feeling the pressure of his role as a monarch and the pressure his parents have placed on him. He never expected the connection he had with Bridget, to change his life in the way it does.
I enjoyed these characters. They are strong, relatable and had me coming back for more. There is great growth and definite chemistry throughout the story for the characters as well. A one time fling that just stuck with both of them because of a connection they had from the beginning. This is a fast paced, engaging story that is easy to read, as well as entertaining. There is angst, minor miscommunication and plenty of spice, and of course a HEA. This is a book by an author that I never hesitate to pick up. I have always loved any book I’ve read by her. Didn’t want to put it down. I enjoyed this book, it had everything I enjoy most from a book. I can’t wait to see what happens in the second book. Don’t miss out on this one and add it to your TBR. I highly recommend this book.
This was a really fast paced steamy romance between a Prince and a normal girl. This is the story of Fyn and Bridget. The chemistry between Fyn and Bridget is off the charts and even though Fyn is a Prince that isn't known by Bridget when they first meet. Fyn doesn't have an easy life. As Prince of Lovolia his family is expecting him to marry someone to enhance their status and produce an heir. Fyn however has other ideas. He doesn't want to marry someone just because of their status or what they can bring to the kingdom. When he meets Bridget he was expecting to meet her once and never again but when their paths cross and Bridget learns the truth of who he is then he has to fight for the right to be with the person he wants. Bridget is on what should have been her honeymoon but after finding out her husband to be was cheating she took the holiday with her best friend. When she meets a handsome man on the beach she wasn't expecting anything to come of it. She definately didn't expect to find out that he is a Prince.
As their connection grows they realise that their feelings are more that just one night thing but there are plenty of problems standing in their way. Mainly the Queen and King. Will they allow their son to be with a normal girl?
This is a fast paced romance and I love how determined Fyn is to fight of the woman he loves and how he will go against all odds to be with her. I really enjoyed this story. After all who doesn't want to find their Prince. Especially one as hot as Prince Fyn. Fyn and Bridget are so perfect together. Their connection is steamy and off the chart chemistry but they also perfectly fit together and are made for each other. Their journey to be together is far from an easy one and the pair have to fight for the right to be together no matter who or what is against them.
OMG these two have done it again!!! I absolutely love these two authors individually- but put them together and magic happens!!! With the upcoming release of the second book in this series, I thought I would do a re-read of this one in anticipation of Book #2. I adored this book the first time around and love it just as much this time. Royally Complicated is the first book in The Crowned Hearts series by the talented duo of Gwyn McNamee and Christy Anderson. It is a sublime forbidden romance with a secret identity, a bad boy prince, a holiday fling, electric chemistry, plenty of hot sizzling encounters, a little suspense, a splash of angst, emotion, and more. This is Fyn and Bridget’s story- she’s on a holiday with her best friend, a holiday that should have been her honeymoon, that’s if she hadn’t found her fiancé cheated. A holiday fling is just what she needs to get her ex out of her system. He’s the sexy surfer that snares her attention. But there’s more to him than first meets the eye. What happens when secrets are revealed? You really should read all the entertaining details for yourself- you are bound to love their as much as I have. At this rate, I am going to have to add another wing to my fantasy book boyfriend mansion as I keep having to add more ‘residents’ to it, especially considering every one of Ms. McNamee and Ms. Anderson’s heroes (both individually and collaboratively) have been moved into my BBF Mansion, all because they are so delicious that I can’t help but want to ‘keep’ Every. Single. One. Of. them. Now I can’t wait to devour Russian and Royally Complicated (Book #2)- the countdown has started, a couple more sleeps and it will be here!!!! Happy Reading…
Royally Complicated By Gwyn McNamee & Christy Anderson
“Maybe it’ll take me doing something like this for them to finally realize I can’t and won’t be who they want me to be…no matter how hard they try to make me fit the mold.”
Living two totally different lives, Fyn and Bridget are worlds apart, except when it comes to their dreams. Bridget is lost, with zero direction, and Fyn has his life planned out for him. But when the two meet, a connection sparks between them, opening their eyes to new adventures.
“Our hearts are in the same place. Synced. As cliché as that may sound, it doesn’t make it any less true.”
Living the Royal life has some hard rules and expectations, and when Fyn’s country is under attack, he must try and right the wrong. But falling in love changes his perceptions of things, and he must convince others to change the ways of the past. Bridget sees herself as average, not royalty. But falling in love with a Prince has made her re-evaluate her life and path she was on. Standing by Fyn’s side with be hard, but will it be worth it in the end?
“Every touch brushing away bad memories. Every kiss stealing my soul. Every shared breath freely given to the only person who matters. I never knew this existed, that this type of connection was possible.”
Royally Complicated is filled with lust, love, adventure and excitement. Gwyn and Christy take us into a world of royalty and deceit. Bridget is so relatable and Fyn is so delicious. Together, they are the ultimate power couple! One chapter you will be swooning and the next, you will be on the edge of your seat. Each chapter in Royally Complicated will have you wanting to meet your own prince on an island!
Plot: Bridget meets Prince Fynix on what was supposed to be her honeymoon; they share a wonderful, hot night together on the beach, but all good things must come to an end. But a year later, they can't seem to forget each other, and when Bridget returns to Fynix's country, the sparks are still there.
Commentary: I always feel so bad in stories about a royal H where the Queen is practically conspiring with the wicked OW (almost always a princess). It must be tough to have to balance your family against the country (many people do it, some badly - think of military families and all the tragedy that can come out of those situations). But maybe it could be done? At least the queen finally comes around, but in this case, that felt a little false. I liked the characters, but their connection outside of sex felt a little immature - I would have liked for them to have more time to develop that relationship. And I definitely hated the hero's name - I feel like a traditional monarch would never name their son Fynix. Still, it was fun and I would like to read the next book about their best friends.
If you liked this book, you will probably also like Peaches & the Duke (it's a trilogy and has very similar tropes).
This was a mixed bag where I left with some great positives and not-so-great negatives.
To start with-- thanks to this one, I'm officially out the little reading slump funk I was in. Yay! I consumed this within a day. It was definitely addicting!
I really enjoyed the chemistry between Bridget and Fyn and the smut scenes were all excellently written.
I am absolutely here for the next story that was set up at the end-- I can't wait to get more from that teased couple. But if it's possible to change a book title, I most certainly would prefer a new one, ha! Nonetheless-- regardless of my overall mixed feelings with this story, I'm absolutely intrigued for the next one to come. Consider me all in.
As for some of those negatives? This book features one of my least favorite tropes: insta-love.
It started as insta-lust, and I 100% was all for that first scandalous meeting between the leads. I appreciated the time that went by prior to their next meeting, but the plot started to lose me with how quickly Bridget fell back into Fyn's arms. Rather than insta-love, I think I would have preferred some boy obsessed trope only.
The pacing of the story frustrated me at times-- so did certain choices Bridget made.
Nevertheless, I did enjoy this read, and as mentioned-- I'm absolutely here for the next couple's story.
