This was freaking phenomenal. This might be the best sports romance on Wattpad that I've read. I actually just have no words. I was 54/958 pages in and I got hooked and knew I was gonna love it. It was so obvious they liked each other and I was scared of what the 904 pages left were going to bring 😅 And it was just amazing 🥰 The trials and tribulations. What they went through. But through it all their love shined 💖 Finn is such a simp for Avery and they are adorable together. Absolutely adorable 😍 Avery and Cam and Finn and Lindsey's friendship. The friend group growing. The strong brother like bond of Finn and Casey and the whole team supporting each other. The descriptions of the games, the excitement, the emotions. Growing up, experiencing life, the good and the bad. It was all beautifully written 🤩 The journey this book took me on and the emotions it made me feel just made it all the more real. I loved reading about them, their friendships, relationship, troubles, dreams, reaching their goals, supporting and through it all loving each other 🦋 I can't contain my excitement at the fact that this has a sequel and I'll be reading more about these characters journey 💙

Once in awhile I decide to read a wattpad book bc of this one tiktok I saw mentioning a trope i love and then, while reading, i remember that this is not my cup of tea anymore and that i’m too old even though i’m 17, but I wanna finish the book to see what happens so here i am.

It’s honestly not bad, but it’s just not for me and I just didn’t have the attention span for it. I did finish it tho.

Finn and Avery have my entire heart and soul xx

okay update: i still love them so so so so much that it has influenced what i read and enjoy, like the ‘friends’ to lovers is my all time favourite trope and now all my favourite books follow this trope.

side note: the entire plot of this book had me hooked start to finish with the realistic family drama and the more than creepy ex boyfriends. The side characters backstory that feed the entire plot makes the book even better. ‘She’ by jake scott is now in all of my book playlists even though everytime i hear it, it makes me want to re read the trilogy again. UGH I COULD GO ON. I just love them so much

I just finished re-reading Ice. I think this is the only hockey romance that I've liked. The author's writing is so nice, I can tell they know their hockey plays because the description is so detailed. The romance trope is cute, the way they met is adorable (he falls first). The moments when they experience a bump in the road or just a plot point are awesome but I will say it takes a while for it to get there. I think it's until chapter 20 something when the drama starts to truly stir up and boil. I like reading books that get straight to the point so that would be the one and only reason this book doesn't have 5 starts. Still one of my top Wattpad reads. Finn is such a mentally healthy man, the dudes that I went to high school with could NEVER.

Anyways, I highly recommend this book for YA readers :)

my absolute COMFORT series on wattpad. my love for finn, avery, grace, and casey knows no bounds. i’ve left so many comments in all three books, and the actual love and community that goes on in there is one of my favorite things in the world.

whenever i’m in a reading slump, i will literally turn to this trilogy (series if you count “gorgeous”) to pull myself out of it because it genuinely stimulates my love to reading.

I DONT CARE how many times i’ve read it, i’ll read it a million more.

IF AND WHEN this gets professionally published (because it’s so good for no reason???? like why is this not displayed on my bookshelf yet???), i WILL be buying it so quickly. preorder? done. the second it fucking DROPS, best believe i WILL be there

I have read this book too too tooo many times
AND IVE LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT
it is long so beware of that LIKE REALLY REALLY LONG
But other than that I love the build up of intimacy like I have never read a book like this and WE NEED MORE BOOKS WITH IT
Cause in most books it's like yk they just do the deed without any build up previously and because of this book and the authors way with words I can't settle for that nowadays.
