Gold medal performance This book is a part of the Bad Boys of the Summer Games series, and I haven’t read one that I haven’t liked yet. They’ve all been really enjoyable, and this one is no exception. It’s a quick read, sports romance story about Quinn and Rory. Quinn has been a bit down in the dumps lately, but things start to look up as his friend Joe offers him a job as the personal trainer of the number one ranked women’s tennis player. It’s such an amazing opportunity for him, and he takes it. Rory is also a highly-ranked tennis player on the women’s circuit, but has self-doubt when she plays against the world’s number one player. She was a surprise addition to the team at the games after a shoulder reco. But she was grateful for the opportunity and vowed to make the most of it. When Quinn and Rory meet, their mutual attraction and chemistry was undeniably hot. After a night of passion, she sees him courtside and assumes the worst of who he is to Anya. She accuses him of manipulating and using her, but she couldn’t be further from the truth. When he tries to explain things to her, will she listen? It was a fun read that had a good mix of romance and steam. The characters were both very likeable and relatable, and I was rooting for them to find their way together. And the bonus epilogue tied things up nicely. I give this book four and a half happy-housewarming stars. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
QUINN by Krysta Fox is the fifth book in the multi-author Bad Boys of the Summer Games series and this time out it is the world of women's tennis in the spotlight. This story is about Rory and Quinn. Quinn is a personal trainer who is in a bad place after having his last relationship, who he thought would be the one, turn out not to be. So instead of picking himself up he is out partying at the clubs each night and being hungover in the mornings. Luckily for him his best friend Joe, who is also a personal trainer, has the thing to put him back in the game, "...training one of the most famous athletes in the world for the biggest competition of her life." Quinn jumps at the opportunity and three weeks later he is in Tokyo with his client, Anya Gerard, and her coach. To say Anya is a challenge is an understatement and Quinn would have left a while ago if it were not for the fact that Joe got him this job. Rory is a tennis player who has worked hard to overcome a major shoulder injury that resulted in her being out for most of the year. She had only been chosen to go to the games late but she was feeling good and excited. When she is at the first practice with her coach everything is going well until the end when she hears a familiar cackle laugh from the next court. It is Anya and she is trying to get into Rory's head. To Rory she feels that Anya always wins and always will, even as her coach tells not to pay any attention to her competitor. Later that night Rory is in the hot tub at the aquatic center all by herself, just relaxing and floating. That all changes when she is dragged out of the water by a big and strong man thinking she was maybe dead or drowning. Well hello handsome....Rory meet Quinn and Quinn meet Rory. What happens next will make things way steamier than the hot tub and makes your toes curl. But it is also sweet and lovely besides hot and wet. There is a connection between Rory and Quinn that ends up taking an interesting turn the next day just before Rory's first match. It will propel her though and soon she is realizing that she may have been defeating herself all along where Anya is concerned. Two weeks later a the finals will tell it all.
This was a really enjoyable story with two fantastic characters. There are also some really fun supporting characters that add to the story-line. My only issue is that the book could benefit from another visit to a good proofreader, as there were a number of really easy to spot errors. But even with that I enjoyed the book and found it to be a wonderful addition to this series.
After tennis practice and hearing her adversary picking on her again, Rory slips off to the hot tub to relax the tension away. As she starts to float under the water, hands grab her and drag her out of the hot tub. Quinn had a bad day dealing with Anya and her attitude, so he was just heading for the hot tub as well when he thought someone had died or fallen asleep and drown. About to give the woman mouth to mouth, she moves and stops him, saying she is fine. Quinn and Rory start a relationship steamy and quick, finding someone they could really fall for. The next day they find out how small their world really is as he is the trainer for her adversary, Anya. The characters are terrific, with great side stories and intense feelings. I be everything at the Olympics is notched up quite a few degrees. The storyline has some tense moments but the relationship turns really strong when both Quinn and her coach form a team of support around her. Loved the ending and all the friends in their lives.

This story is another one by multi authors in the Bad Boys of the Summer Games series. I have to say that you will really enjoy each and every one of these books. This is one that you wouldn't see happening, at least not that you would see behind the scenes. These two meet after he has been sent on a job his friend got him after he is not handling his breakup very well. He saves her well, at least that is what he thinks he is doing. Now that they have to meet they both realize that there is something between them. This is the night before her big first match. After the match, how will things progress with him being the PT to her rival?

A great storyline of a trainer falling for the opposing athlete in the Summer Olympics. Loved the fast paced connection of this couple and what exactly is at stake when the competition gets in your head. Enjoyed the confidence that Rory finds once she hears and believes in herself at what she is capable of, what everyone already knows.

This was a fast-paced novella that I found sweet, steamy and fun. Quinn and Rory are just too cute together, though a little drama does happen. Despite the short amount of time the characters know each other, Quinn seems to support and understand Rory. I thought their texts were sweet and it was an entertaining short read.

A wonderfully written short sport romance, where a young female tennis player felt defeated against another player all the time not realizing she was doing it to herself. Until, someone very special pointed out to her.

However a misunderstanding almost separates them but allows Rory to win against her main opponent. The misunderstanding is quickly resolved and Quinn is very supportive of Rory. The morale is to believe in yourself which I love.
