I loved everything about this book even the fact that he lied. It gave another layer of shenanigans. Y'all know those rock my world !!!

Sawyer and Amy were made for each other.
Sawyer has been watching Amy from afar, keeping her safe until he felt worthy of her. He must move his plans up when some jerk puts his hands on Amy without her permission. This is a great read and I highly recommend it!

I usually enjoy reading books from this author but this time I was not sure where she was going with this story but it fell way short. If Sawyer confessed to Amy from the beginning, I think my review would have been different but it just did not make any sense.

Fabulous, absolutely love this one. A nice quick short read.
Sawyer sees Amy when she is walking down the street, he almost runs into a pole while looking at her. He notices a guy running up to her and Sawyer feels the need to protect her. He follows her to her apartment, then watches over her everyday for three weeks. Amy has a blind date she is meeting at a bar, but when she meets the guy she finds out he is drunk already. At the bar he tries to feel her up, that's when Sawyer steps in and scares the blind date away. Sawyer asks Amy to dance then to come back to his home, and she agrees. One the way Amy isn't sure what's gotten into her but she feels safe with Sawyer. When they talk Sawyer can't help himself and lies about what he does for a living. He doesn't want to tell Amy he's ex-Navy seal, he was a sniper. When they get to Sawyer's home Amy tells him she's never done this before, he finds out she's a virgin. Sawyer begins to kiss her, then he pleasures her, then they get physical. Three months later, Amy stays most nights at Sawyer's home. Sawyer hasn't told her he's not a lawyer, he watches over her while she is taking classes in college. Sawyer finds out Amy has someone stalking her, she wants to go to the dean. So he follows her to class and then finds the guy and threatens him. The next day Amy finds out the guy stalking her has left school and went back home. She starts to get suspicious of Sawyer, she notices cuts on his hands, and that he doesn't asks her about her meeting with the dean. The next day Amy rushes out of the house and goes to college as usually. When she thinks Sawyer is at his offices she heads back to his home. She tries to get into his office but it's locked. So she climbs in through the window. Amy finds pictures of herself from before they were seeing each other, when she had her own apartment. She finally realizes a few things about people around her. Sawyer comes home and tries to explain to her, but she runs. Three weeks later, Amy has been thinking about their relationship. She wonders if she be able to raise their baby and still go to college. Sawyer leaves her a note to meet him. He tells her about coming home from overseas she was the only thing that grounded him. She tells him she been lonely without him. Sawyer promises to never lie to her again if she will take him back. Sawyer tells her he's not complete without her, and if he's not there for his child he'll never forgive himself. Amy tells him she doesn't need anymore convincing she is his. Five years later, they're married and have a four year old daughter, Abby. Sawyer re-enacts a night of stalking her to bring spice back into their lives. Amy tells him she never seen him coming, but he is the best thing that happened to her. Sawyer tells her she took the words right out of his mouth.

This is the story of Sawyer and Holly. She is for the first time out from her home. She will began college soon and she wants to experiment in life. Sawyer is a veteran. He came back home after lost friends and completely broken. He bought a house by the lake and is trying to find himself again. He felt lost until he saw Amy, his angel. He wants her, he knows that she is innocent and needs to be protected. However, at this point he has to be like a guardian angel, protect her without her noticing. She went to a date with a guy, Ted, and he was drunk and trying to cross the line with her. At that moment, Sawyer decided to step up and protect her. She was completely attracted to him. Once he began to talk and dance they ended in his house. After that moment the were together. The only problem is that Sawyer lied to her about her profession, he did not tell her he was a vet, se guessed he was a lawyer and he did not correct her. He was broken and the hell he lived when he was deployed was killing him. He felt abandoned and his only hope was her. What will happen when Amy discover that Sawyer lied to him? Will she accept the reason why he lied to her? Will love be strong enough to make her forgive him and be together? Great characters and plot. Well written story. Highly recommended.

a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! This is book is part of the Lovers Lake series why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. Sawyer sexy as all get out Vet, broken fighting the ghost of his past in the military, and he is back home struggling when he sees an angel (his angel) deciding to keep her safe. Holly will start college soon wanting to live just a little prior to starting, she is out on a date when her date a little too drunk tries to overpower her and Sawyer steps in saving her. They began to get to know each other but he holds a part of himself back from her not letting her know he is a vet will she still want to be with him upon discovering who he really is, will she help calm the ghost of his past military events and can he finally have happiness?

Sawyer and ex Navey Seal is lost and damaged but the minute he sees her he wants her but he doesn't deserve her she light he's dark. Amy a college student finally out on her own thinks her life is perfect what she doesn't know is the reason why she has a stalker. And one bad date leads her right too him Sawyer. This had some good things going for it the story was interesting the chemistry was good has some dirty element's no real danger unless you account for Sawyers bad behavior and the whole stalker thing while in real life would have been scary in the book it was fine my big issue and the reason for a 3.4 rating was Sawyers lies in the beginning of his and Amy's relationship. If Sawyer had come clean upfront I would have liked it better and Amy went from sweet virgin to Daddys naughty girl very confusing it needed more build up instead of instant bad girl.

Amy has left a sheltered life with her family, wanting to stretch her wings, she lies to her family to be able to move out before the semester starts.
Amy and Sawyer have an instance connection, one that makes her feel safe and loved, but when she starts questioning things, the lies Sawyer has been hiding is about to come out.
Amy and Sawyer was a good story, with a slightly over possessive Alpha and a determine young lady who wants what she wants.

Sawyer is home from the military, but it is hard to integrate back into being home. He sees Amy and wants her, but does not feel like he is worthy enough to start a relationship, so he stalks her and protects her without her knowing. It get a little creepy at times, but he finally gets the nerve to make contact and they are both in love quickly. The characters are terrific, with great backstories and intense feelings. The storyline is a roller coaster ride as things progress and then they separate and get back together. The romance comes full circle. The ending with some of their games is still a little creepy to me. Good story but just a bit too much for me.

I was expecting a healthy bit of steaminess, but I was not expecting the Daddy kink and then some. Amy quickly turned into a very dirty girl. Sawyer is certified insane but they being out the crazy in each other.

This was a bit of a dark romance. Sawyer sees Amy and decides that she is the one for him. Unsure of how to approach he, Sawyer watches over her until he has to save her. Their whirlwind romance is fast-paced but goes well until secrets come to haunt their future. I thought that this story was entertaining and they had great chemistry together. Thought o be honest, it was a little disturbing.

Sawyer was a wonderful soul when he came back from the war. He could not talk to women. And stayed in the shadows. When he sees Amy he is enfatuatex with her. He swears he will not let anything happen to uer. Je follows her and learns all about her saving her from herself. One day he rescues her fro. A date gone wrong and they hit it off. However, their relationship begins on a lie. Will he be able to correct the wrong before she finds out and he looses everything? This is a short story with a tqist.

I very rarely give such low reviews, but this book made me so uncomfortable I can't bring myself to rate it higher.
From the very first chapter when Sawyer becomes obsessed with Amy, I knew that this story was going in the wrong direction. I had hoped that by then end things would have sorted themselves out, but if anything it got worse.
I am all for Dirty talk during sexy times, but this was over the top and awkward. Their relationship starts with him stalking her and lying about it, and her using older guys to buy her drinks at bars even though she's underage. All around gross.

OMG! I loved Rough Waters by Jenna Rose. Amy is happy to finally be out on her own and going to college. And Sawyer is an ex Navy Seal and now he lives alone and keeps to himself. But the moment he sees Amy, he becomes immediately obsessed with claiming her and making her his. Sawyer is willing to do whatever it takes in order to make her his wife but what happens when Amy learns the truth of everything he has done? Definitely recommend. 5 stars

I liked this one - mild stalker story with some daddy thrown in for fun. Sawyer was obsessed with Amy at first sight and did his best to protect her. After a date started going downhill, he revealed himself...just not the truth about himself. There was some lies, minimal outside drama and no other women. Plenty of heat and chemistry between these two making a quick down and dirty read.

Crazy, Stalker, Obsessive, Protective Daddy!! A broke vet meets his angel. Amy’s a college girl who danger just seems to follow. She’s unaware that her protective stalker has saved her life so many times. Sawyer just can’t help himself from following Amy. The ending is sweet and there is some angst that makes it a little exciting. It wasn't may cup of tea, I'm not s big fan of lies, he also doesn't really explain why he lies. But it mostly comes down to its just not my cup of tea.

This book becomes one of my favorite story from this Author. I might not totally approved Sawyer's action but I can forgive him because it was done out of love. Through all the their trials, he never stopped loving and protecting his angel.

I really like these novellas. They are hot, spicy, entertaining quick reads. This one is Sawyer and Amy's story. He is an ex navy seal having a rough time after being discharged. She is a college student trying to find her way.
I recommend this if you want a quick steamy novella.

loved it !!! love this series !!! love Sawyer and Amy... this is their story. it's insta-love for Sawyer but, he's broken...so he just watches and protects. until he has to save her... then the lies begin or is it omission ? a fast paced low angst kind of story.

An amazing page-turner in the Lover’s Lake series! It is well written, funny, engaging, romantic, witty, steamy, and will leave you wanting more with the intense passion, stalking, over the top protection, likeable characters, and instant chemistry. Definitely recommended!
