January 2, 2026After the HUGE disappointment that was Primal of Blood and Bone, I am still not sure if I want to read this one.
On one hand, I need to have the conclusion to Cas and Poppy's story, because it used to be one of my all-time favorite series. On the other hand, I am so pissed after wasting hours on the dumpster fire that was the 6th book, I feel like I need to respect myself and not waste any more money and time on this series...

Book 5 was disappointing. I did not feel I got much out of being retold the story from Cas' POV. Was kinda like Midnight Sun but not.
Book 7 - please wrap this up. Please have Poppy and Cas defeat all threats, (no spoilers here), and live happily ever after. What would be utterly amazing would be if they had kids. And of course the kids would have special powers, too. And if I never have to hear about Willa's book again, I will be the happiest girl ever!

April 28, 2024Ive .. I’ve only bought up to book bloody two in the series and I see this !!?? 7 !!? Oh for the love of - please do not tell me this is going to go up to 10 books .. these books are expensive on Amazon and I have bills to pay I can’t be buying these books every time a new one comes out .. I haven’t even read the books yet but not gonna lie seeing the series this long and finding out the 5th book is just the same story but from a different POV AND peoples thoughts on the series .. makes me just want to not really bother with the series .. I only feel like I have to now because I bought the two books a while back as a “treat” to myself .. I don’t need to treat myself this much if this is the length this series is going to be ..
