A Curvy Girl and Wolf Shifters Reverse Harem Romance
Imprisoned, afraid, and with no memory of who I am, I’ve been thrown to the wolves… literally. Before today there are only dark, shadowed memories I’m too scared to even think about. It doesn't take me long to find out no one escapes from the Island of the Damned, a hidden paranormal prison camp in the depths of Siberia. Especially not a chubby, boring, plain old human woman like me.
But I have to. Especially when every other man here wants to claim me for their pack.
The only comfort I find is a deep, intimate connection to the three wolf-shifters who rescue me. They make me feel safe. They want to protect me. They give me the strength to fight.
I’m not leaving them behind. Even if the dark Prince of Wolves wants me dead.
Taryn and her wolves' story begins in Unclaimed, and continues in the next book, with more of her saga to come in this four book series. Get lost in the world of the Fate of the Wolf Guard as this curvy girl discovers who she truly is and that when it comes to love, she doesn't have to choose.

Aidy Award is a curvy girl who kind of has a thing for stormtroopers. She’s also the author of the popular Curvy Love series and the Dragons Love Curves series. She writes curvy girl erotic romance, about real love, and dirty fun, with happy ever afters because every woman deserves great sex and even better romance, no matter her size, shape, or what the scale says.
I simply don't enjoy books where the mystery relies on the love interests intentionally withholding information.
I also really don't enjoy when the FMC complains she's being treated like she's too dumb to live and then promptly does something that is exactly that. She's told they will go to her destination in the morning, she instead decides to run away to the place at night, in snow, with zero idea of where her destination is located. The complete definition of too dumb to live.
This is a YMMV situation. Cliffhangers are just not my thing and this series isn’t complete so I’ll just leave this to check out at a later date. It’s just got a lot of threads dangling that don’t make me eager to hang out and find out what’s going on. *shrugs*
I'm definitely a fan of reverse harem romances, and this series sounds like it's going to be a doozy of one! I'm intrigued by the sort of purgatory that they are in, and I can't wait to meet Gregori! Of course, the sexy times are also hot hot hot! I can't wait for the next books in the series. :)
Things I liked: - great harem. The mmcs are all interesting with unique backstories - unique concept and AU. The Russian angle was a nice contrast from the typical American setting. - Heat factor. The steamy scenes were solid and the erotic tension was well done. - plus size/bbw/curvy girl characters are hard to find in Reverse Harem fiction. This book is a welcome change.
Things I disliked: - Taryn. I tend not to like heroines who talk more than they act. Her sassy quips during life or death moments for her men were irritating and juvenile. Throwing stones at wolves that couldn't even feel the impact was her only contribution to the story until her deus ex machina power-up at the end. - Pacing. The entire story took place over one or two days. Would it have killed the author to make it 2 weeks instead? Taryn barely knew the women in the village but by the end she thought of them as her own without any relationship development happening. I'm sorry but that's just lazy writing. -The ending. As I said above, Taryn had some sort of mystical glow up right at the end...and then the writing stops. Unfortunately, this wasn't an effective cliffhanger since we're still fully in the dark about what it could all mean. Is Taryn a goddess? Is she a witch? Who knows - who even cares??
Intense emotional sexy romantic love story with lost memories and loves of who you are, and who to trust, and to believe that maybe this time you all can win. Thank you for the first of another incredible series ♥️♥️
I love this story. Hooked beyond belief. I did not read the background story on Taryn and I am glad I didn’t. Stories can get real predictable or repetitive. This cliffhanger has me spent.
Taryn has no clue where she is, she barely remembers who she is, but she knows her name and how to yell!!! And boy does she yell! Sassy and not really a pushover, we get the idea that Taryn is going to be a force to be reckoned with.
August, “Mr Big and Burly” as Taryn first nicknamed him. He recognises Taryn straight away (but by a different name!) and is absolutely desolate at her not knowing who he was to her?! (As I said lots of secrets)
Joachim is a priest. A man of god. But he’s also got an agenda!! He knows more than he’s letting on! He doesn’t interact or interfere with the village August protects, but when needed he does appear! Whose side is he really on?
Meeting August, well him saving her from some weird freaky dude and his wolves is just getting stranger! He seems like a nice guy, but Taryn has no idea what’s going on. And he may have rescued her, but he’s not letting her leave the cabin he brought her too! Has she made a mistake in trusting him?
So we have a creepy guy who’s after Taryn, who is he? And what does he want Taryn for?
I love her paranormal romances, her dragon and wolves series are favourites of mine. A go to when I want a chuckle and steamy read. And this one was no different. A little confusing for the first couple of pages, but once you settle in, you won’t be putting it down till you finish it. The characters are just great, the dynamics between the main characters worked really well together.
Set in Siberia, we hold our breath as Taryn comes to terms with her incarceration on an island that is escape-proof! Watching as August tries to gain her trust without telling her who she was! And what he was to her! Loved Vasily, (thinking there is more to that Wolf than is being told!)
We have a cast of characters that add to the story, some I feel will have a more pivotal role as we get to the next book. We also have plenty of bad guys wanting to claim/capture Taryn (well it is a prison island!)
This is the first book in a new four book series, it’s also a RH (Reverse Harem) that’s also a first for this author (although she did dabble briefly in another series of hers)
Cliffhanger? Yes there is, but don’t wait for the next book, buy it, read it, love it, then read something else of hers whilst you wait for book two 😉
And FYI…. Sign up to the authors newsletter, you get a bonus chapter that won’t be found anywhere else 😉
So, all in all it’s a good start to this new series, and I’m going to recommend this book to anyone that likes their heroines with an attitude, and hero’s that like to serve 😉
Taryn finds herself in a frozen wasteland and doesn't remember anything but her name. August finds Taryn and has to keep her safe for she is so important to all stranded on the island. How will she cope when she finds out about shifters.
This is Unclaimed, book 1 of the Fate of The Wolf Guard written by Aidy Award. If you want to read a book all stacked full of hot ALPHA males of every kind of shifter, big beautiful and curvy women who enjoy their size and sexy times.... Aidy is the author for you! She drags you into a complicated story with all kinds of things going on and releases you once the "fated mates" have found their HEA. But don't for once think that we don't get an amazing back story and a fully developed storyline, because, we sure do. We start this series with August and Taryn and there is still a lot of story to go. to be continued.....
This new storyline is actually derived from a character from an existing storyline in our beloved Wolves Shifters Romance Series. She was screaming to have her story told, and so Taryn got her story. She also has no memory of her life past or present and is currently imprisoned on an island with several past lovers, wolf shifters, lion shifters, evil icky men and some pretty nice ladies that are all being held captive! This storyline just blew me away as I was reading it, I just had to keep reading faster to find out what was going to happen next. And I’m just going to come out and say right now that there is a live scene in this book that is so hot, you will need a cold shower after!! Holy wow!! I can’t even give adequate words to describe how much I loved this book! I can only hope the next book is equally as amazing, because my mind is just a puddle right now! And that ending- I mean, come on!! Gah!! A definite 5 star read — moon stars of course!! LOL ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What is there to say but fantastic, fabulous, exciting, sexy! This seemed a bit confusing at first but as the book progressed you caught on. I can’t wait for the rest of he series.
Firstly, I love Aidy Award's dragons & wolves. But she has outdone herself. I started reading and couldn't put my Kindle down until the deliciously wicked cliffhanger. This is an excellent start to what I know will be a wonderful series. Most of the story is about Taryn and August with just a splash (introduction) of Father Joachim, Vasily and The Dark Prince of the Wolves, along with the other wolves on the island. And Will and his mate. Action packed with twists I did not see coming. And yes there is romance with steam. I do not want to give away the story line, no spoilers. But I can't wait for the next story. I was given this wonderful story as an ARC with no obligation to write my honest review.
A whole new exciting series that takes you on a wild ride. Taryn is our heroine too bad she has no memory except her name. But she is about to learn all about shifters and an island that shouldn’t exist and won’t let her go. This is only the beginning of an amazing story. It has wonderfully written characters that you will love and hate. The mystery is only starting and what will happen next can only be guessed at but with twists that will keep you reading until the end and you need the next book right away.
Totally Amazing!! This book you just have to start reading , you won't be able to put this one down at all, so much going on it will have you guessing for hours, you have your hot wolf men and one very hot priest mixed with some very sexy mind talking and one beautiful curvy women who's trying to figure out who she is and where , some laugh out loud moments and a very nasty dark prince . So ladies you really need to pick up this book and start reading , you won't be disappointed. This book was revised by a Book Loving Vixen
I have been waiting for this first book in the series, so worth it!!!!
This book made my wish come true. Paranormal Reverse Harem, nuff said!!! Even though this takes place in Siberia, this story is so sexy and hot, it melts all the things cold with its heat, and my kindle as well in the process.
Taryn is a curvy girl (yay) who has the protection and dedication of her shifter wolves. And boy does she need protecting. The Dark Prince is out to destroy her. I fell in love with Taryn from the very beginning. She is no shrinking violet. She has powers she doesn't even know she has. She does not remember her past when she finds herself washed up on an island, where no one can leave apparently. The relationship she has with her wolves is exceptional. The action and suspense will have you holding your breath to see what happens next. Bring on the 2nd book!!!
This book is PHENOMENAL and I loved it! The beginning of a new series by Aidy and it’s off to an amazing start! The story of Taryn, August, Vasily, Joachim and Grigory grabbed a hold of me on page 1 and absolutely would not let go, I couldn’t put it down! Taryn’s past is a secret to her but the men she encounters on the island know the truth of who she is and what she means to them and will do anything to keep her safe. It’s a bit of a bumpy ride but it’s a journey well worth taking and I can’t wait to read what happens next!
I read an ARC copy of this book and am volunteering my honest review.
Ok, first of all, make sure you have the time to get drawn into the adventure. your kindle/e-book is fully charged, you have plenty of cool drinke/snack handy. This is one fast paced, steamy, make you go pounce your hubby later kind of story. Dont forget your fan to cool you off, a hot pad to place your kindle/e-book, if you get in paper back or hard cove make sure you can cool it down and watch out for paper cuts! Our girl likes to bite off more than she can chew-but gets the job done.
After reading this book I had to take a little time to compose myself and get my thoughts clear in my head before I put them in a review. Wow this book was amazingly written. Once I started I couldn’t put it down till I was finished. This book has twists and turns you don’t know what’s happening. will they all get there happily ever after or will it all go wrong. To find out what happens go buy the book. You won’t be disappointed I wasn’t.
Have to admit I was a little lost when I first started this story. Felt that I was missing something but then Bam!! What a read, with trying not to give any of the story line anyway. When I found out who one of the characters was I lost it. Love tails from her life and so glad a story was created for her!!
Such a fantastic beginning! I love Paranormal Reverse Harems and Aidy Award’s new Fate of the Wolf Guard series is an action-packed story with touches of historical references that I loved (each one is like finding an Easter Eggs in a video game).
Please be aware Unbound is book 1 of four-part series and does end with a cliffhanger.
Thanks to the author for a copy of the book in exchange for my honest review.
Five stars of delicious, this book takes you on a ride from the first page! This is the beginning of a new series by Award called Fate of the Wolf Guard. Here we meet a slew of characters that jump off the pages into your heart! Weaving Russian history within this storyline was pure genius! It also lent a greater dimension to the characters and storyline. This four part series is worth the frustration of the cliffhanger ending. Can’t wait for the next installment! Truly brilliant prose! ❤️❤️❤️
The story in this book, is entertaining and filled with action and adventure. The characters have a great interaction and chemistry between them. I can't wait for the next book from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
this book was an awesome read giving the fact im up most nights reading this was a good choice to read in bed and let me just say it had me hooked the characters are super interesting cant wait to read more
Aidy has really outdone herself with this new RH story! I could not put this book down! Such an engaging story about past lives and different worlds. The characters are just amazing and Taryn is such a strong, sassy, and snarky heroine! Love the humor in this story and definitely plenty of steam! Such an amazing storyline! I can’t wait for more! Highly recommend this book! Received arc and am voluntarily leaving an honest review
This was a very different type of book for me to read, purely based on the fact that the author has left out A LOT of details about the prison island, so that it is as if we are Taryn ourselves, the author mentions this in the beginning and I am glad for this otherwise I would have been reading this very annoyed and angry that we didn’t know exactly what this strange island is.
The reincarnation thing is new to me, I feel like this could have been explained better throughout the book but I kind of understand why we are only getting snippets of her previous lives and why we are getting them in jumbled, random timelines and moments. It is a bit confusing, especially when they are all calling her by different names from different time periods in her life.
Due to using mostly Russian nicknames and words I had to keep coming out of the story to look up what the words meant and this is an off putting thing for me in a book as it takes me out of the moment.
I feel like a lot in this moves very fast, yet sometimes it feels like we have skipped some scenes/time/feelings, like when she goes from wanting to mate for protection but spall of a sudden when she has made this decision she suddenly wants to get mated because she believes they really are true mates. It just seemed confusing.
There are SO MANY things left unanswered in this book however it’s only book 1 of 4 so I am hoping these things get answered. We finally meet The Dark Prince towards the end of the book but we don’t know his story. We finally get one Vasily chapter at the end of the book which I’m grateful for so I hope we get Grigory’s PoV in the next book too.
Honestly we don’t know ANYTHING about ANYONE and their past lives other than the 4 men were part of her harem in each (or several) of her lives. I kind of like this and I also hate it at the same time. I need to know more about these men and their roles in her life and WHY they ended up on the island. I really want to know why the people who have taken Taryn’s life numerous times decide to finally send her to the damned prison island when they have never done this before.
ALSO WHAT THE HELL IS MAGGIE? Is she a shifter as well or is she actually a witch? A witch would make sense and would answer why no one seems to know what she is except for her husband.
The smut was decent but nothing I haven’t read before. I hope things get steamier than they did in this first book as we get to see more than one of them at a time with Taryn.
Unclaimed by Aidy Award is book one in the Fate If The Wolf Guard series.
💜 thick and curvy FMC 💜 unknown history 💜 forced proximity 💜 why choose 💜 🌶🌶🌶 spice
Taryn is so so confused. All she knows is darkness and silence, well that and her name. She clings to her name determine not to have that ripped away from her too. Then, she’s pulled by two hooded men through an are and pushed into thick black fog. Next thing she knows is that she’s on a frozen beach and approach by a creepy looking man and wolves. Ugh…just not any better. But, a large, rugged man comes walking up and she knows that she can trust him. But where is she? Why does this man make her feel safe? Why does he have a wolf? Where are they? Will she ever get free?
This is a paranormal why choose romance that I throughly enjoyed. Taryn isn’t your typically written skinnier FMC. No, she has curves for days and her men love all of it. I still have so many questions that I can’t wait for the next book to arrive to I can keep reading. This book does end on a cliffhanger, so waiting will be difficult. 🤣
Wow, A dark scary place to be awakend. Taryn find her fated mate, but is that her only one. How many
Taryn wakes in a harsh cold environment. Being only slightly aware she was being tortured before. Was she dreaming hallucinating, this place . But then she sees a scrawny man with huge wolves. Sure she hadn't seen anything like this before Taryn knew she was awake being as her name was the only thing she knew for sure. Her senses weren't to be trusted, yet deep down she knew that the scrawny man was not to be trusted. But the burley man( August ) who had shown up seconds later accompanied with another huge wolf ( Vasily ),we're the ones to be trusted for now anyhow. The connection that Taryn feels with the people she meet with after, you can feel that chemistry. I like that Aidy has let you go into this story blind that you feel and see if from the fresh eyes of Taryn. It's a great way to approach Taryns story. Loved the book.
Taryn is in a frightening situation. She is imprisoned on an island and has no memory of who she is or what happened to her. She is surrounded by shifters in this hidden paranormal prison camp in the depths of Siberia. All the males want to claim her. If it were not for the three wolf-shifters who rescue her, protect her and make her feel safe, she would feel hopeless. If she can ever escape, she will not leave them behind.
This is an intriguing story line because we don’t know what’s happening and who the Dark Prince is… or even who Taryn is. The fast-pace will take the reader through the history and see who the characters were then and now. Grab your copy and don’t miss the excitement.
