I think I read a couple arragont men in this huge series with many author and im so happy Rory got to be in it!! Fast pace and some steamy moments in this baby.
Olive my girl is a romance author who well never had sex big ol Virgin who wants to find that one but her app dates well they are pigs.. no that hurts pigs lol those guys are whale poo 🤣. But thanks to a friend she found a match maker who let's you write a letter to your perfect match!!
Before she can even give her letter she bumps into arragont standoffs-ish Archer who doesn't believe in love. But my man has 2nd thoughts when he sees Olive twice he knows she's his but he's still "do I wanna date forever/marragie" so he sorta kinda steals her letter. But he does go after her in person and writes to her and they chemistry is hawttt!!! Few dinner dates and smooches in those pesky elevators 😊
They grow closer together even with the tiny cloud of guilt Archer has about her letters.
And when it hits the fan boom it hits!!! Now our guy needs to show his girl he's all in..

First things first … Not only did I love this story, but I really like the author’s voice and style and I went to look at her backlist of books and there are quite a few titled with keywords that are #winning for me so *twirls* I’m super stoked!
Olive and Archer made for a sexy romantic read! These two had chemistry in spades. Their story was entertaining from beginning to end with a few awwwwwww moments thrown in here and there. Seriously, an excellent feel-good storyline, well written with no drama for drama and conflict that was realistic and dealt with without me rolling my eyes (that last one is a huge plus LOL those of you that know me are shaking your head in the affirmative right now and lololol) Also, I’m not lighting fireworks for the cover or anything but its still #winning so you should just go do the thing now, k. :)

This was a hot story from the start and kept me totally engaged. Olivia and Archer sizzle as we get to watch their relationship develop. I really enjoyed this story and would highly recommend it.

This was sweet and cute along with steamy and funny. The chemistry was amazing and I love the act of the characters writing the letter, even if it wasn't exactly truthful at first. I enjoyed reading this and was a great addition to the Cocky Hero World

I really enjoyed this read. It is so addictive to read Olive and Archer's story. They have so much chemistry. And I loved how their story unfolds. These two had me hooked from the start. This is one fun, steamy and romantic story. Highly recommend this one.

Olive Lively is a romance author that is in a slump. Her dating life is subpar and her words are not flowing. When the swiping right isn't working she decides to put her hands in her favorite advice column. Ida delivers her best advice in the paper but she also has a match making service. Her nephew Archer has been so focused on career and had had quite the bit of craziness when it comes to the opposite sex. He does not believe in love and even Aunt Ida isn't going to sway him. That is until he literally bumps into her. Was that a spark of electricity? It couldn't be! Now he is on a mission to intervene in the match of Olive. This couple is sweet, funny, a bit awkward on Olive's side and yes they have the sizzle!

Archer is so thrown off his game when he first spies Olive with his aunt, that he cannot get her off his mind after their brief meeting. So he does something crazy so that he can get to know her without her even realizing it. But when it comes down to Olive making a choice between him, the man who doesn't do relationships or love, and the man she's been matched with and with whom she's been exchanging letters, will Archer come clean about who he really is?
I always love it when the commitment-phobe, the player, falls hard and fast and it shakes him up so badly he doesn't know which way is up. It's a classic trope, and done well here. Archer and Olive are seriously hot together, and so sweet. Even though he protests almost the whole way through, it was obvious how he felt about her even if he never said it at first. Sweet, smokin' hot, and well deserving its place in the Cocky Hero Club.

After hitting a slump in her writing career Olive's best friend talks her into being a part of Ida's matchmaking. It's here where both Olive and Archer see each other for a brief moment. Archer is the type of guy that out and out refuses to be in a relationship. However, from the moment he laid eyes on her he can't fathom anyone else having Olive. I truly enjoyed watching these two grow and learn how to thrive in a relationship. I loved how Archer became smitten by Olive. And the way he pursued her. You could feel the heat between them. And man when they got together was it HOT!!! This was such an amazing book. I was hooked from the moment I read the first chapter. By the end I was wanting even more of their story. This deserves more than five stars. A must read 📚

What drew me to read this book was Ida Match, a matchmaking service run by advice columnist Ida in the Hero Club world. Olive is a romance novelist writing without actual experience so after failing to connect with anyone using dating apps, she goes to Ida.
This a delicious story of a confirmed bachelor getting gobsmacked by one brief encounter with the heroine. The conflict in the book is internal - Archer guilty he is leading Olive on, and Olive guilty she wants more than Archer can give.
I enjoyed the story and appreciated that it was long enough to get the job done and short enough to do it well.

This is a brand new author for me so I was not sure what to expect. She writes very HOT stories and this story was filled with lots and lots of hot times. If you like a slow romance with feelings and a heavy plot well then you might not love this story but if you like hot times then you will love this story.
Olive is a writer whose in a slump, she is also a virgin and being romance writer that can be an issue. So she decides to sign up for matches with Ida and thats where she sees and meets Archer, who is Ida's nephew.
The two fall into insta lust fairly fast but meanwhile Ida is trying to make a match for Olive. I enjoyed this story, but I found Archer's attitude a bit weird. He is professing how its just casual but he can't stay away from Olive. Meanwhile Olive wants a real partner and not casual sex but Archer insists its just casual.
There is also some issues at Archer's work that adds some drama to the story and honestly I figured it out very fast. I was kinda surprised that Archer didn't see it much earlier in the story.. For me I found this part of the story very predictable.
That said this was a fun and flirty story and I loved that Olive was writing letters to her match and vice versa and I loved Archer's alpha personality. Ida added some laughter to the story and I adored her antics.

A beautiful love story
Really enjoyed this book. It was kind of an who done it twice over. Who was James. Who was embezzling from Archer. Archer's aunt is a matchmaker and Olive was looking for a match. Archer saw her at his aunt's office and took her introduction letter. He corresponds with Olive while dating. You'll find out who James is. It's a wild relationship and tribulations at work keep him very busy. Have fun, read the book. You'll enjoy it too. :)

Unpopular review.
I started this last year and around 40% I dropped it. I just couldn't get into it with my head. It's an okay read and the blurb called to me, but it was so boring. But I put my big girl panties on and finished it so it would dissapear from my Kindle.
Toward the end there was a bit of drama that was not neccesairy.. I also don't get why they h just ran and didn't confront the H with what she learned. That way mistakes can be stopped.

It’s rounded up from 2.5 stars and I almost rounded down. It was hot and funny, but the editing was extremely distracting (especially by the end) and I don’t fuck with third act breakups (and this one is VERY cringily predicted via a bestie convo) that could’ve been a heated conversation instead.

Poor Olive, she's had no luck in the relationship department as even dating apps haven't served her well. This leads her to a matchmaker named, Ida, and this is where she totally meets her lobster, though it's a bit more complicated than that LOL! Archer is a growly bear for real, but he recognizes the fact that the sassy Olive is his lobster but he's going to be a bit more difficult since he goes back & forth as he was burned in the past. Luckily, the connection these two have found is undeniable but he did a thing that could blow up in his face. We all know that dirty little secrets always come out, and when they're in our books?! Yeah, fireworks like the 4th of July LOL! I really loved Arrogant Matchmaker so much, and I was excited to meet Rory Reynolds as she's a new to me author so now I have new books to check out! Anyway, that's enough out of me, just hit those one click buttons as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Olive, I just love her name. She is looking for something like love to fulfill her heart. She's over the dating site and trying to find someone who is perfect for her. When her friend suggests Ida Matches she's skeptical at first, but then takes the leap. When she runs into Archer something happens, but she knows he's too good to be true. Archer is not looking for love nor does he want it, but when he runs into Olive it's more than sparks. When he finds out she's there looking for love well he's about to do the unthinkable. These two are so adorable together, but they aren't without their faults and it will take an act of faith and Ida of course to try to steer them in the right direction. Can Archer throw away everything he believes for a love like Olive?

This is a new author to me, but I will certainly be looking out for her work in the future, and this story is a great addition to this awesome series. Olive is a writer who is in a slump, as she signs up with Ida a match maker, to find her perfect match. Archer is Ida’s nephew, and he does not believe in love, but from the moment he cross’ paths with the sassy little firecracker in Ida’s office, this grumpy and arrogant man is drawn to her. The chemistry between them is combustible and undeniable, but can Archer convince Olive to take a change on them? This is a well written story which is fun, romantic, and with a tad drama, emotions, and love, which leads to a steamy and all0consuming tale. I look forward to reading more from this author and I highly recommend this story.

Pleasantly surprised with this
This is my first book by this author and while I don’t really prefer novellas, this was actually really good. (And I’ve been very hard to please lately lol).
Olive was extremely likable and relatable (although I do think being a virgin at her age is a little unrealistic). Archer was your typical hot, brooding alpha male, but I really liked him.
Anyway, they had great tension and chemistry. Things move quickly because it’s a novella, but it didn’t feel rushed. Great sex scenes. Believable conflict and satisfying ending.

I loved this story. Olive and Archer were amazing and had great chemistry. It was a fun, steamy and entertaining read. Olive has had no luck with dating and goes to Ida for matchmaking. Archer is Ida's nephew and is drawn to Olive as soon as he sees her. He's not a relationship type of guy, but wants Olive. He wasn't her intended match from Ida, but she finds herself falling for the grumpy man anyway.

Absolutely Delightful! The author has given us a fast paced, funny, sexy storyline that had this reader grinning from ear to ear as I read through the pages. The storyline is very well written and the characters were developed to the point I felt I’d know them for years. I laughed, hurt and soared right along with them. Kudos Ms. Reynolds for giving us a very entertaining book that is a great addition to the Cocky Hero Collection.
The story is a very lighthearted romance about a romance author who has developed writers block and decides she needs to spice up her nonexistent love life to get her muse back. While her methods might not be considered conventional, they just might get the job done (in more ways than one).

The story is a very lighthearted romance about a romance author who has developed writers block and decides she needs to spice up her nonexistent love life to get her muse back. While her methods might not be considered conventional, they just might get the job done (in more ways than one).
