London Evans thought she was just an ordinary teenager navigating an ordinary life of high school drama and family responsibilities. That was until her ordinary life was interrupted by extraordinary dreams. Dreams that were real.

Like, Ethan, the mystery boy with a strange accent and golden-green eyes. He once was just a part of her recurring dreams. Then he showed up at her doorstep, very real.

Now London needs to learn how to navigate this new world of dreams and reality. If she doesn't, she risks both worlds. What once were dreams have become nightmares.

And she has no way of stopping them.

I love love loved this book. I read the first book a year or so ago and I really enjoyed it. However, I think I liked this one way more. I loved the storyline and the character development. I love how there were so many twists and turns in this novel. I never knew what was going to happen. The novel was filled with wonderful surprises and it was so much fun to read. I would highly recommend reading this book and I can say with full confidence that I am really excited for the third book to be released!

I COULD NOT wait for this book. The 1st book reached into a different dimension tieing together elements of the imagination to family life. Moving, families living apart and growth. Just like the 1st, for this book, I couldn't turn the pages fast enough as each chapter left you hanging on to the authors words. It left you to reflect and appreciate the artistry and imagination of the story and characters.

This was such a fun read to escape for everyday monotony and patiently waiting for the next book.

I was super excited to read this book and continue following London's adventures, and it did not disappoint. It was nice to learn more about London's family and friend dynamics and laugh at London's sass and humor. The story also had an interesting contrast in overarching tones. Overall, it was happy and lighthearted, but Lacson nicely intertwined suspense and dread throughout the book that left you questioning everything in the back of your mind. The book ended quite surprisingly and left me eagerly awaiting the next book for answers.

I liked the first book in this series and I absolutely adored this one! The writing is so beautifully done. Lacson has a way with words that, in my opinion, you don't always find in YA. The twist in this one caught me completely off guard and tugged at the heart strings. Can't wait to read the next one!

I loved this book! I enjoyed getting more time with London and Ethan (and drew and Brenne). I was constantly guessing what was going to happen. I was not disappointed with the ending. There needs to be another! I’m not ready to say goodbye to these characters yet!

I think this one's even better than the first. It made my face hurt from smiling and laughing so much. I loved London's brothers.

Couldn't wait to read this one and it didn't disappoint! It does leave you with a bunch of questions so that you have to wait until the next book to have answered.

3.5 stars. While this was an enjoyable fantasy YA novel, it didn't evoke the same feelings for me as Reverie had. Perhaps I waited too long in between books to read this sequel, but the magic of discovering London could "skip" isn't as evident in this one as she tries to get to the bottom of her new dreams involving what appears to be a homeless woman asking for her help to save her baby. As far as the other characters, I did enjoy the banter between London and her brothers, but I felt London's father became more unlikable to me with his expectations of her. Like she shouldn't be the one in charge of everyone's dinner...it felt like it was that way because she was the only girl. Even though I feel like Ethan and London's relationship will eventually fizzle out, I'd be interested in seeing where London's next dreams take her.

exceptional book!!! while I thought I had a better understanding of what to expect after reading the first book, this one still blew me away!! totally did not see the twist coming, and lovedddd it. the ending totally wrecked me, but it was SO beautiful!

I forgot to mention in my review of the first book, but London's dad is an absolute national treasure! I did not expect this book to expand more on his character, but I love that it did. shoutout to all the wonderful dads out there who love and care for their families!

on to book 3!!

"I wish it need not happened in my time," said Frodo. "So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us." -- Lord of the Rings

Book 2 picks up where Book 1 ended. It was easy to get into, and if you needed to remember what you read, there were enough references to remind you without distracting you from the current story.
Lacson continued character development, adding depth and richness to the story.
The supernatural was woven seamlessly into the story, as was London's changing perception.
A good read indeed!

Book 2 was just as cute and whimsical and fun and page turning as book 1. I loved reading more about the friendships, and family.
