The honor of your presence is requested at the marriage of Theodore Tucker and Marley Jacobs. All they wanted for Christmas was each other. And from a bed of roses, Ted told Marley the only song his heart sang was hers. With the wedding around the corner, big changes threaten to derail the big day. Grab the bubbly and get ready to toast the wedding of the summer!
Most of these are always written in third person, as if the author isn't the one actually writing them. So, I'm going to be a rule-breaker and write it in first person instead. I'm a native Chicagoan, vegetarian, and lover of big words. I randomly burst out into song, and have been known to carry on entire conversations (with those worthy of the challenge) in song lyrics. The same can also be said for movie quotes. I'm quirky, sarcastic, I've been told at times I can be a bit esoteric, but overall I'd rather be dancing in the rain than waiting for the storm to pass.
And I LOVE connecting with people- so go on, hit the "friend" button. :)
This is a well written book with a cast of strong characters and an interesting story line. The author does a great job pulling you in as she tells her story in the multiple POV's showing the depth of their thoughts and emotions. She paints her scenes perfectly as she tells the story of mainly two couples and their friendships with each other and others and what they are willing to do for one another. I enjoyed reading their story and would recommend this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Today I was browsing books by authors I've read and liked... looking for something to pick up. Willow was my mind because I'd recently finished another of hers. I saw a this one, ok looks interesting. Then saw that it included characters I'd read in some of her other books. Yep definitely reading. If you read Bear and Marley's story or Raven and Penn's story, you'll enjoy this one. (If you haven't read those yet, you may want to read them first!) Then the other characters enter the story, and I am thinking there is something behind them... where did they come from? And Willow's mea culpa (I love that she includes those!) Gives those books... so now I am off to read at least two more. (I'd read the one set in Barren Hill already...) Let's just say I love when characters enter mingle into the stories of others. That is really how life works. I feel like these people are people I know now... can't wait to hear from them again!
This was a cute story with multiple view-point characters but I think it works better if you have read their individual stories before hand which I had not. But it was a nice story.
I have absolutely loved these books, and you will all fall in love with the ending to Bear, Marley, Raven and Penn's happily ever afters. I loved every word Willow wrote and this one and really enjoyed reading her research behind each story in her funny Mea Culpas.
North Pole to Chicago...But what happens with the wedding plans
Independence Bae is the third book in the Love on the Air series. The first two books in this series were actually part of multi-author series and I liked both of them. This book continues the two previous books, Scrweg'd is the story Marley Jacobs and Teddy "Bear" Tucker and Bed of Roses is the the story of Penn Ellis and Tilly "Raven". This is a wonderful wedding story between Marley and Teddy. Then add in the Fourth of July, an opportunity to take the Bear and Raven radio show to Chicago and so much more. I really loved this story and all the interplay between the two couples and how they have their own story-lines which are woven together so well. I believe this is the final book in the series so I am sad to say goodbye to all four wonderful characters. But if Willow Sanders decides to write another book or two about these four then count me in.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Independence Bae is of Tilly "Raven" and Ted "Bear" 's journey as they take the next step not only in love but also with their career. In a month Ted will be getting married to the one women that has stolen his heart. When Raven and him get the news that their radio contract is to be bought out, their biggest dreams are about to come true. Now with the help of their loves, Raven and Bear need to decide to what direction their next adventure will take them.
I love reading the struggles, worries, choices Raven and Bear go through. This is a great story with twist and turns that will grab at your heart as you get lost in the tale page after pager.

Teddy and Marley are about to get married but then they’re thrown a curve ball that may change the direction of their plans. This was another great read that revolves around Ted and Marley’s wedding but it also gave POV of Raven and Penn. There are some twists and turns which keep you wondering how things will turn out. There are also some appearances from characters in previous books that tie everything up nicely. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
loved it !!! what a sweet story... love Theodore and Marley... this is their story... a fast paced family drama... with a few twists and no turns... just lovely.

Wonderful finish to the series, so far! I loved the lead up and wedding of Bear and Marley, especially her present for him. It appears their journey has only begun. This book was fun to read and once I had time, I couldn’t stop until the last line. Thanks, Willow, for another great story.
