The Ghost Girl #3

It Must Be Fate

Rate this book
He's gone . . . This ghost girl just can't catch a break. There's fury in my soul and pain in my heart as I try to come to terms with the latest shitstorm the universe has thrown in the way of our unlife's happy ending. But during the uncertainty following the abduction, we discover we're not alone. We have the love and support of those closest to us, even if we barely remember them. With their help, it's time to start tackling our growing to-do list. Like having Asher fix the guys' souls. Or asking Nate to help me save Macklin . . . er . . . Thad. Whatever . . . that's hella confusing (we're working on a cheat sheet). Anyways, once we're all together again, we'll stop my sister and save the world. No big deal, right? After all that, maybe we'll finally get to live happily ever after . . . that is, if we don't die first. Contains mature themes.

ARC reader review

This conclusion was amazing and such an emotional roller-coaster, I have never giggled so much and then cried and then giggled again.
I'm not going to go into detail about this book or the characters all I will say is sinclair never disappoints and this series is a testiment to that.

A perfect ending to a phenomenal series!! The conclusion to Fate and her men’s story was absolutely everything I could have hoped for and so much more! It was action-packed, sexy, emotional and deep. Fate and her men have dealt with a lot and this book was no different. Working to defeat Karma and finally get to their life of growing together, having adventures and all the sexy times they could hope for.

Despite all of the barriers that seemed to pop up Fate and her men were determined to stop Karma, save the world and live their lives happily together. It wasn’t easy, but there were some laughs and some love along the way. I absolutely loved how each of Fate’s men grew in this book. Each growing into their own, gaining confidence in some shape or form, and all coming together for the sake of Fate.

Even with all of the tension running wild with stopping Karma, Sinclair Kelly weaved her glorious magic and infused some of her brilliant humor into the story. I swear, some of the things that come from this woman’s brain are genius! There were moments that had me legit busting out laughing! And the sexy times…let me tell you…HOT!

This book was absolutely fantastic! I love this group of characters so much that it’s sad to see their story end, but I couldn’t have asked for a better conclusion to their story! The humor and love shown so brightly throughout this story despite the challenges they faced. Through it all love was that bright light at the end of their tunnel.

Highly recommend this book and series to everyone! Sinclair Kelly’s talent knows no bounds!

Fantastic conclusion to the series!

Fate has to navigate the swap while trying to deal with her insane power hungry sister. Fate still manages to find herself in the middle of some very steamy moments with her men. Super easy and fun read!

This was truly a heartbreaking and heart warming conclusion to the #ghostgirl series. I was laughing and crying and falling in love with all of the characters all over again. I’m so sad I’m saying goodbye to fate and her boys. #bookhangover lol

Fate and her guys are back! There is more drama, laughs and snark in this one than ever it feels like. I don’t know if it’s because it’s the last book in Fate’s arc or not, but this one packs a bigger emotional punch for me. Karma has to be taken down for good, and that’s a bigger problem than anticipated. Seeing how the group recovers from book 2’s cliffhanger and works together toward the conclusion of the series had me equally cheering for them and hoping and praying for the best. The author never wavered from her signature storytelling style though, and I devoured every word.

There's a lot to love about this series - so if you enjoy PNR, listen up!

Ghosts, ghost hunters, humor, alcohol, STEAM! LOTS OF STEAM! jokes, hot guys, monster 🍆, and feelings. There's lots of those.

I love the Facts at the start of each chapter...they are creative and fun, and I love the nicknames. (BTW I'm stealing S*xy Nerd and stuffing him in my harem room.) 😝

This final book in the trilogy brought a satisfying conclusion, with an awesome HEA that might have caused me to leak a tear or two. I'm sad to see the end of Fate and her guys, but happy to hear about the spin-off!

Ghost Girl Fact #1: If you want a fun, steamy PNR read with all the feels, check out this series! 👻💖

I just loved this ending!
Fate still has plenty of moments that makes you laugh so hard you’ll pee your pants!
Having to navigate the soul swap and get those boys back before her power hungry sister gets even worse. This ending could not have been any more perfect for fate and her guys. It makes me sad this series is over, but Kelly ended it so perfectly that will make you want to read the series over and over

The conclusion to the ghost girl series does not disappoint. While it wasn't my favorite book in the series (book two is a MUST read), I still loved the stories over all arc and the development from book one to now. The author made you feel so many different emotions with this book, and I loved every bit of it.

An amazing ending to an outstanding series!

I loved the first two books in this series, and this one was more than I expected! The twists and turns and surprises keep coming, right up to the very end. I laughed, I cried, I screamed in rage and shock, and I couldn't put it down.
Do yourself a favor and get this series, binge it, and then struggle to get over it. It's just that good!

What a wild ride this last book in the series took us through! Fate and her guys really had to go through so much! The ending was perfect, I’ll keep it spoiler free, but it sure made my heart happy! I am so hoping that Ashers spin off happens quickly!

I’m so going to miss this series. Fates snark is epic. We finally get the showdown we want and love. And let’s just say it will not disappoint. There’s some fun drama towards the end. Asher is possibly getting her own book, which hello, so needs to happen. Make sure to read this series in order or you’ll be slightly confused. All in all, it’s was everything I hoped for and more.

A perfect ending to the series, I was so happy. Fate and her men’s journey was not easy, but they endured. So engaging: a good mix of action, humor, and romance. The characters continued to grow and rely on each other to move towards the ending. You will not be disappointed, it is definitely worth reading.

I'm so sad this is the last of Fate and her guys 😫 I've loved the journey they have taken us on. The humour right the way through this series is brilliant and on point - asscole for the win 😂 loved the ending, I don't think it could have ended better! The hangover from this series is real!

Such a fantastic conclusion to this incredible series! I'm honestly sad for this to end. I adore these characters and felt so much with them along their journey. It's a little bittersweet for me.

This book sees our group recovering from the painful cliffhanger in book 2 and truly growing and coming together to destroy Karma so they can finally have their HEA.
There are moments that made me actually laugh out loud (seriously, the humor and snark is incredible!), moments that are steamy, and moments that made me feel like crying. It will run you through emotions. But this roller coaster ride is just so good.
It's a bit hard to explain without tossing spoilers at you and honestly...you don't want them. If you've read book 1 and 2 just know that this book is so so good and rounds out this series perfectly.
The pacing is fantastic, the character growth is great for the guys, and the feels....there are many.

This entire series is so fun. You get action with very steamy romance, real emotions mixed throughout the harem, and real actual laugh out loud moments.

Let’s first talk about the narration for this 3rd and final book in this funny, reverse harem trilogy! Same comments as I had before, I think what was even funnier and the male narrator did such a good job was the aftermath of the body swaps hahaha. That was done so well, I couldnt stop giggling haha. I also thought the female narrator at the climax and aftermath made me get close to tearing up with her impactful and believable performance. So good!

Storytime! So I won’t put any spoilers in here because I don’t want to ruin anything for anyone, buuuut there was some big reveals and FINALLY someone got the karmic justice they deserved. The intricate storyline was done well, with the side character involvement and the little hints throughout the book that really well tied into the finale. I loved the love interests for some of our favorite side characters, I will have to check to see if they got their own books/spinoffs (especially Aster!!!). I loved Nate and his protectiveness of Fate and then his daughter. I also really liked the entity that didnt have a name, it was cool when they interacted with the group.

I also appreciated all the powers and the issues they had to go through because of them being out of whack. I will say there were some slow moments in this book that I didnt experience in books 1 and 2. I wouldn’t have expected that with all the confrontations and stuff. I am glad my favorite was able to get out of his kidnapping alright. But oh man, the twins really got me in this one. I did tear up when one was dealing with out of control stuff and couldnt listen to reason. So heartbreaking!!

I thought the author did a good job tying up loose ends in this finale. I liked the ending and hitting us with more humor at the very end. I am glad I picked up this series on Scribd and read it while on my way and in between work conference days. I will be checking out more from this author and hoping they have a merch store so I can get some #ghostgirlproblem items haha ❤️

Loved it!!

I am happy to say I found another great author to stalk. This entire series was so much fun to read. The pacing was perfect and not long and drawn out like some series can be. My attention never wavered and I was just as excited to read about Fate at the final chapter as I was when I first started book 1.

The ending of Karma was both somewhat anticlimactic yet emotional at the same time. Maybe the anticlimactic sense was because it was from a POV other than Fate but I think that also is why it was emotional. It’s hard to explain without ruining the entire scene and I don’t like being a spoiler.

Overall I loved the series. The entire plot and concept was fun and interesting to read. The characters were all multifaceted and had some great character growth over the series progression. The series did set up for possibilities for a spin off featuring Asher which I am all for!!

Now to address the remarks made about plagiarism… cue my eye roll. I have read the series that people are accusing this author of “copying” but had they even taken the time to read it they would have realized just how wrong they are. The similarities stop at the concept of the female lead being a “ghost”. Every book I have read where the female character is a ghost, I see the same handful of reviews claiming plagiarism of one specific series. Jesus people, every concept you read in any book can all be found elsewhere but that doesn’t mean it is plagiarism. Please be mindful of the vicious and hurtful accusations you are throwing out because what you are accusing the author of is a crime and should not be taken lightly, not to mention inaccurate. Why Amazon has even allowed those reviews baffles me.

Fate's story has been an amazing ride that has left me laughing, crying, and surprised, completely in sync with the characters. Sinclair Kelly has really hit us with the good stuff with this series. It's been both an emotional and eventful journey for Fate and the guys, especially in this final book. The ending of the previous book was shocking and stomach dropping, leaving us in emotional turmoil as we waited to see what would become of Mack/Thad. From the beginning of this book to the end, the characters had an overwhelming amount of problems going on. Despite this, they still fought their hardest and always tried to have a plan to fix anything they came across. These characters didn't not play around, even when the outcome could be dangerous.

This last book seemed much more emotional than the previous two. There was more on the line than ever before and when it comes to them not making it out alive after everything is said and done, that possibility of finality really hit home for Fate and her guys, making them not take any moment for granted. You'll see a lot of incredibly sweet moments between them as well as the hilarious and sarcastic moments that are the perfect tension breaker when the times get to be too much.

It's so sad to see Fate and her guys go, but I look forward to seeing more from the side characters in the future, especially Asher as she seems to have a lot going on in her life and much to learn as well. But if I ever feel the need for more #ghostgirlproblems, I'll be returning to Fate's series without hesitation.

This book starts where the last book is left, and the men in her harem are mixed up. How will she and her men get back the sexy nerd so they can body swap them into the right body and soul combinations?

Fate is a bit of a mess, doubting herself and heartbroken at losing Mack in Thad's body. But of course, the author had to go there. Why not have out-of-body steamy scenes with them using other men's equipment.

Oh, they have some adventures in this book, and of course, the author doesn't spare the humorous scenes or the intimate ones. Even at the worst times, there is more than enough snark and sass in this book to keep you entertained and hooked into the story.

This book seems to be a lot of drama and doom and gloom as fate and her men battle her sister in the underworld. But the book also shows the true sacrifice of love and alto for special moments with her harem. The author was very creative toward the end of the book. Who knew a ghost girl could get that surprise? I sure didn't, but it made the ending of this story fun and interesting.

The ghost girl series is a comical paranormal romance and fiction series that will leave you spellbound. I love Fates personality, snarky comments, or overall character. This is a reverse harem series, and there are points in the book where I wondered about the plot. I thought her guys' personalities were fabulous, and the author didn't shy away from the steamy intimate scenes. However, I loved all the little moments and even action-filled ones by the end of this book.

I really enjoyed this series!

Throughout this series, I was pretty hooked! Everything was rounded off pretty nicely, and anything that wasn't (say, Asher and her possible suitors) may be answered through a spin-off series.

MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD:
I do sort of wish that everyone kind of got their memories back in a way. It's explained throughout why by most of the characters why they didn't want them back, and they're all pretty good reasons (especially Fate and Levi), but it's sad that they had memories before that were apparently so good (as per all of the photos in the Gateway) and have no recollection of them. They clearly cared a lot for her back then (proven by what the surprise was going to be before everything went bad 100 years prior), so it wouldn't have been all that bad for them to get them... but I FULLY get why it was best plot wise not to get them back - they were different people from what they were before, and getting the memories back may take that way.

At the end, after Karma was dealt with, I'm curious to know if their 'army' was necessary. Were they needed to deal with all of the spirits that were earth bound? Or did they all disappear when Karma was taken out?
Even without knowing this, however, the ending was wrapped up really well, and it was a series I'll definitely recommend!

I genuinely enjoyed how interesting and funny this series has been. Ms. Kelly is fantastic at drawing her characters, making them stand out and be memorable. I appreciated that some of the communication hiccups from book 2 were resolved in this book so that Fate and her guys acted as a true team. They have a lot to work out to save themselves and the world too. I also loved how by this book, I could feel how much the characters loved each other and their willingness to sacrifice for each other. Plus, Ms. Kelly knows how to write some steamy scenes.

I haven't been in as much of a mood for silliness lately so while I laughed at most of the antics, sometimes I felt like they could be toned down a bit. That's the mood I'm in right now, however if other readers may be in a similar mood, it might be worth knowing since I think I would have enjoyed those parts more at a different time. I did feel like the ending for the final showdown and its ramifications were a bit rushed, but there is a super sweet and amazing extended epilogue that left me feeling mushy and happy for Fate and her men. I'll be checking out future stories in this world and I'm intrigued by how a few of the side characters in Fate's books could get their own HEAs.

book 3 is ok

The fmc is a little bit rough at times she sometimes feels like a Watt pad character instead of an actual book character and a little bit more childish than I feel like she should.
Mac, who is supposed to be the super Smart character does some really dumb things.
And I feel with his smarts, definitely, don't lineup with his character. They seem something more like one of the twins would have done. The fight scenes are over very quickly.
And the whole book seems a little bit rushed like it needed to be pushed out quickly or kept short
But the whole series seemed a little rushed. So that's not entirely surprising. Overall, the series is a good quick read.
The books are fairly small and it's got some very funny parts, definitely not my favorite series, but not the worst. I've ever read. As far as the audiobook goes, the male voice actor it was a little heavy on the surfer dude side for a lot of the characters, but characters like death got a very old man voice That I didn't feel matched The description that the author wrote

Sin….there are no words outside of crying emojis and snark after this book.

Y’all…get ready to feel and be all in. Fate is in the middle of a mess. A plot in the world of ghosts to unseat her, ghosts that don’t know if they should trust her or not now that she’s fully back, and 0 memories of her previous life. But…..that’s ok because she’s grown since, she has her priorities straight, and she is realizing that she needed it to be stronger. Death (literally) is on her side, and she has a team person that she can depend on as she figures out how to get her guys back into the right bodies, and keep Hell from taking over. No big right ?

Y’all….to say that you’ll laugh, cry, and squeeze your thighs together during this book from the heat that it brings is an understatement. I found myself crying at the end from sad and happy tears.

I loved the Ghost girl series so much. This is a series and you need to read them in order.

** Book Hangover Warning! ** Oh my ghost! I love this book. This whole trilogy has been like... whoooooOOOOOOOoooa. It's been a little bit "Ghost Hunters," a dash of Ghostbusters, a bunch of snarky and sassy dialogue, and a lot of sexy goodness. This last part of Fate's story continues with the funny, action-packed, magical, reverse harem romance. I like how the mysteries from Book 1 and 2 have been solved, most of the loose ends are tied up, and the ending is spooktacular.

I have to say that this series is practically perfect for my Ghostober read. I love the fun mixed with epic fantasy and steamy romance. The characters are engaging, and the world(s)-building is boo-tiful. I am still impressed by how well each chapter's character narration is done, and it's still fairly easy to know which person is narrating.

That ending! Gah! ALL. THE. FEELS. I think the Gateway / Creator is my favorite support character.

Some typos, but nothing too distracting.

☆☆☆☆☆ That chapter before the epilogue Sin...you almost had me

It Must Be Fate delivered in the way the first two books in the series did.....with snark, sarcasm and d*ck joke aplenty! The book had me laugh snorting enough times at work that all I could do was wave my hand in from of my face while tears rolled down my cheeks. There was no way I was going to try and explain what I read to my coworkers.

The relationships between fate and her men blossomed completely in this book. Where book one planted the seed and book to gad the blooming, book three was full bloom flower. And that ending just had me awwwwww.

I will say I felt this book seemed more rushed plot wise. There was s*x.....oh boy was there. But the story itself was not as fulfilling in the conflict between Fate and Karma. But all and all this book was massively enjoyable.

I am not ready to say goodbye to this group. But I'm so glad to have read this series. I have loved the prior two books in this series and this is no different. One of my favorite things about Sin's writing is the time she takes to put in the fun facts at the beginning of every chapter.

The last book left us on a cliff hanger, and this book dives right back into the chaos of that. Fate's one liners were, as always, fantastic comedic relief to the tension that came with fighting Karma. There was also plenty of steam between the lady and her men in this book. You'll find serious moments and moments that make you cry, but overall, this book is paced so well and gives you all the comedy and spiciness you could ask for.

This group so deserves a happily ever after and being able to read their growth as individuals as well as a group was so refreshing. What an ending though. I can't wait to see what Sin releases for us next.

What must be Fate about this book is the #ghostgirlproblems are 100% mind blowing! I adore Fate and her men. They have had so many moments that make you hold your breath at times. I've been following along with this series from start to finish and the conclusion to it blew my mind. I never even suspected what was going to happen. So if your looking for a story to not only make you laugh as well as tug at your heart strings then by all means start at A Fate Unknown book 1 of this series, it truly doesn't disappoint. Be prepared though, for there's twist that you will never see coming! Ugh I'm so sticking this series in my reread file, I'm still not ready for it to be over!
