Not that I expected this to be a work of art, but I felt like a lot was missing. Now quite what I imagined when it comes to Harry having his parents alive.
The letters tho, loving that. So heartwarming!

Always trust a Hp fanfic rewriting version with blind eyes !! This is the first book, so nothing mind-blowing but still it was great to see how Harry personnality could have evolved into should his parents have been alive te raise him properly ; he is not so different from the cannon version : still curious with an amazing instinct, but a tad capricious, slighly more impatient, and definitely more spoiled lol

To me, the marauders were not used to their whole potential, for instance : when Harry made it Seeker for the team while being a first year, I expected James to be much more dramatic about it, like sending a howler or something ; Sirius was def on character but not annoying enough, he do was a little shit and a bit immature but I think it could have been depicted better.. tbh it is just details and since they’re supposed to be grown-ass adults, they cant behaved like their 15 years old self anymore (and I wont lie… i must be biaised since I am deep down influenced by their characterisation in Atyd🥸🥸)

Otherwise, Remus and Lily were perfect, they were so well described, and I was pleasantly surprised by the Remus x Draco relationship, it was not much, but I expect it to evolve into something greater

Cant wait to read her version of the 2nd book and hope to see more angst as the story goes on🤫

Harry ailesi, Sirius ve Remus amcaları ile mutlu mesut bir şekilde 11 yaşına kadar gelir. Ron, Susan, Neville ve ailesi ile de görüşmektedir. Nihayet Hogwarts mektubu gelir ve hazırlıklara başlar. Remus iş bulamadığı işin verdiği hediyeler hep ufak hediyelerdir. Okula giderken trende ilk defa Ron ile uzun vakit geçirir ve abileri olmadığı zaman oldukça eğlenceli biri olduğunu fark eder. Okulda günleri güzel geçer ve sürekli ailesi ve amcaları ile mektıplaşmaktadır. Zatem kendisi ile ilgili gerçeği okula gitmeden önce anlatmıştır. Remus, Snape ile ters düşmemesini, bu konuda Sirius'un dediklerini dinlememesini söyler. Draco Malfoy ile olan anlaşmazlık da tam gaz devam etmektedir. Bir Quidditch maçına ailesi de gelir. Burada Remus Malfoy'u bir kenara çekerek konuşur. Artık onun mentoru olacaktır. Hermione ile iyi arkadaş olurlar ve Çikolatalı Kurbağa kartı sayesinde Nicholas Flamel'in kim olduğunu bulurlar. Ayrıca Yasak Orman'da Firenze, Bane ve Ronan ile görüşürler. Bir kısım hikayeler sadece mektup olarak anlatılıyor ancak yine de eğlenceli bir roman. Tonks'un adının Gryffindor yatağının altında olması gibi muziplikler de barındırıyor. Keyifle okunan bir roman.

its such a good book. Like, if i was taking this rating seriously i would probably give about 3/3.5 starts but who cares????? everything IS SO CUTE!!!!!!! the marauders together ten years after hogwarts days who wouldn’t love this???? but lets about about the most important thing about this: JAMES POTTER IS ALIVE and thats all that matters. THE SCENE WHEN THE PUTS A MISTLETOE IN HIS BEDROOM ON CHRISTMAS DAY TO KISS LILY I GONNA DIE😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 also, one of my favorites scenes was the maraudera telling harry about christmas at hogwarts and he thinking about spend one there and when he looks to the room around him with all his family and friends he gave up in a second CMON HOW THIS WAS TAKING FROM ME????? Harry is amazing in every multiverse! He is truly a Potter 😭😭😭😭 PLUS i loved how in every step of problem he send a letter to someone at home especially sirius
i still have doubts about who was the rat with rony in the plataform (maybe it was just a rat but who knows) and who will gonna be the prisioner of azkaban but it will read everything.

I’m not DNFing this because I think it’s bad, it’s not. This is really well written.
The thing is what I like most about Harry Potter is how tragic it is, the fact that the Potters, Sirius, Remus etc all died when they were really young, before they could accomplish anything. So if you remove that, you remove my favorite part of Harry Potter. Therefore, I’m DNFing it.

First, the title of the series is actually misleading - Pettigrew dies, and it's his sacrifice that saves Harry.
Second, I quite like this AU. The author manages to add enough small differences to make reading it not dull as it happens with first few books in canon retellings, when plot doesn't derive much. I really enjoyed epistolary chapters.

I love this so much. The marauders and the golden trio combined. I love the letters and the interactions between all the characters. Also the fact that no one is dead, i love not having the eventual heartbreak at the end of the fic, when everything goes to shite. I cannot wait to read the rest of the books.
