I've got the fifth edition of this, which may be better, but this is an excellent source of primary source documents for anyone taking an American history class. I'd highly recommend it. It definitely serves the intended purpose.

Some sections were very interesting, others were not so much. But what can you expect from a book with so many different sources?

There are quite a few bias' in here. I still think it was informative.
