About the author

Tracey West is the New York Times bestselling author of Dragon Masters, a series in the Scholastic Branches line. She has written more than 400 books for kids, including the Pixie Tricks series and the Underdogs series with Kyla May.

Some readers also know Tracey for writing books based on animation such as Pokémon and LEGO Ninjago.

Yay another Spinjitzu Brothers adventure story! So cute and I love how it actually fits with the show and gives a nice insight into Wu and Garmadon's childhood together <3

Spannendes Abenteuer in der Pyramide

Mittlerweile sind wir richtige Fans der Reihe. Umso mehr haben wir uns gefreut, dass die abenteuer um Wu und Garmaddons endlich weitergehen.

Diesmal werden die beiden von einer Sphinx in einer Pyramide eingeschlossen. Dabei lernen Sie Shezada, eine mutige Kämpferin, kennen. Ob es Ihnen wohl gemeinsam gelingt wieder aus der Pyramide zu entkommen? Das müsst ihr schon selber herausfinden.

Wie auch schon die ersten beiden Bände, besticht das Buch mit einem sowohl optisch als auch haptisch tollem Cover.

Das Buch ist in 11 kurze Kapitel gegliedert und flüssig geschrieben. Auch Menschen die nicht komplett im Ninjaversum leben, können der Handlung gut folgen, da die eigentliche Geschichte in eine Rahmenhandlung eingebettet ist. So ist das Buch in sich geschlossen, was uns persönlich richtig gut gefällt.

Zusätzlich gibt es am Ende noch ein Glossar um alle wichtigen Personen und Begrifflichkeiten nachschlagen zu können.

Die tollen schwarz-weiß Illustrationen runden das Buch gekonnt ab.

Meine Kinder sind vom Buch absolut begeistert und können gar nicht genug von dieser Reihe bekommen!

Het derde deel in de Spinjitzu Brothers. Leuk om te lezen, niet echt in de bui om een langere review te schrijven. Het verhaal was leuk met een sfinx, een nieuw karakter die ik meteen mocht, een leuke reveal van wat Garmadon zal worden (al vond ik het ook zielig voor hem), we zien ook een aantal punten vanuit Garmadon en hoe hij worstelt met dingen, veel spanning en actie, een vleugje jaloezie, een gemene sfinx die ik echt tof vond (echt een goede slechterik), toffe illustraties, en dan een einde waarbij ik zowel blij als boos als gefrustreerd was, haha. Ik vond het ook leuk om de tegenwoordige tijd te zien met de ninjas.

Kan niet wachten op het volgende deel.
