Jim Panzee and his friend Tortoise are on their way to the pineapple plant, when Tortoise says they will get there faster if Jim carries him, after agreeing to carry him Tortoise starts with same question over and over again. Jim finally loses his temper, and gets mad. Read along and see how Jim and Tortoise make it through their adventure.

When Grumpy Monkey is shouting out "We are not there yet!", it makes me laugh.

The characters are colourful and it reminds us to be regulated.

I prefer this story to "Grumpy Monkey Spring Fever."

I think that any child would enjoy this book.

Likes monkeys but the monkey looks mean for a 1.5 yr old. Liked looking through and seeing the gorilla.

Jim has the tables turned on him when the grumpy primate is annoyed by a tortoise who won't stop asking the dreaded travel question. Exasperated, the characters invent a game to pass the time.

The publisher's description doesn't really match the contents. Jim Panzee isn't grumpy because he has to wait; he's grumpy because Tortoise won't stop asking "Are we there yet?" every few minutes.

Jim is back & in the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, he learns “Life is a journey, not a destination."
