About the author

Paul Tobin is the Eisner-award winning, New York Times-bestselling author of Bandette, Colder, and many other comic books and graphic series.

Bandette, drawn by Colleen Coover, was awarded the Eisner Award for Best Digital Series in 2013, 2016, and 2017; and was a finalist for the Oregon Book Award for Graphic Literature in 2016. His original graphic novel I Was the Cat was nominated for an Eisner in 2015.

The Genius Factor: How to Capture an Invisible Cat , first in his five-book series of middle-grade books, came out in 2016 from Bloomsbury Kids. It was followed in 2017 by How To Outsmart A billion Robot Bees , and How To Tame A Human Tornado in March 2018.

"Plants vs. Zombies: Dream a Little Scheme" is the wildest adventure yet in the battle between plants and zombies! Dr. Zomboss is up to no good again, but this time he's messing with dreams! He's got this crazy machine that lets him go into people's dreams in Neighborville. And guess what? He wants to brainwash everyone into liking zombies! Can you imagine that?

But don't worry! Crazy Dave, Patrice, and Nate are here to save the day! With their awesome plants, they're ready to fight off those brainwashed dream zombies and stop Dr. Zomboss's evil plan.

I loved the artwork in this book! It's so colorful and funny, just like the game. And the story is super exciting. I couldn't wait to see what crazy dream adventures they'd go on next!
