So i ended up finding this series after i had read “Charlotte’s Reject” (great book btw. if you liked Only Human, you’ll like Charlotte’s Reject. (& vice versa of course)), and i am very happy i did, because this is just a great book. The world-building was fun and interesting. while the focus of the story WAS mainly on Caden and Keira (who themselves are great leads, and i found myself really enjoying them and their dynamic together), i also still found myself interested in and enjoying the other characters that make up the cast and thought a good amount of these characters were also well-written too. I thought all of the romance and intimacy moments between Caden and Keira were very enjoyable & many times had me giggling and kicking my feet in the air (metaphorically). I only really have 2 gripes with this book, that in all honesty are just personal nitpicks.

1: i was pretty disappointed that Caden and Keira weren’t each-other’s firsts.

(For me, in my romance stories i loveeee when the leads are each-others’ first partner and have all of their firsts together. I dont hate it when thats not what happens by any means, but i do majorly prefer it.)


2: alot of meat left on the bone -series only being 1 book long-

(I was very invested in and fascinated by all the world-building and the story that this book was telling, but i just felt like there was just so much more to be seen and felt like this was a story that could’ve easily gone on for atleast another book, if not more. I’m unsure if the author plans to continue this story (which the epilogue kind of feels like its hinting to), but i really hope they do, because i absolutely love this world and the characters they have created here.)



Overall, i loved my time reading this book, i hope to see the author pick it back up one day, and i absolutely recommend picking up this book. 5 out of 5 stars in my mind.

damn this was an amazing book

Really hope there ends up being a sequel to this book cause I loved it. The pacing was amazing and so were the characters. The romance was just something else, like I have no words, since it was just that good

Great book!

Really nice to read! Great story, I loved that we have strong female and more submissive male but not a total helpless "guy in distress ". If you like werewolf stories you gonna enjoy it!

You can tell this was most likely a self-published book and may not have had a professional editor, as I noticed a few grammar errors throughout the story. That said, the story itself was very enjoyable, and I ended up loving it.

My biggest complaint is that the book ends on a cliffhanger. From what I can tell, it doesn't seem like Eliel Betancourt is planning to write a sequel. I don't know whether that was intentional or not, but I'm definitely hoping for a Part Two someday because I feel like there's still more story to tell, especially when it comes to the vampires and witches and where their storylines might lead.

Despite those issues, I had a great time reading it and would still recommend it to others.

A fun little roll reversal on the werewolf trope.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. Though short, it scratches all the necessary itches for anyone who likes this genre but want something different. I hope the author keeps writing, for I look forward to the sequels in any spinoff stores.

After reading/listening to this novel, there are questions that needs answers. Because you can't make a book and leave it in blank! It's not the end, this is the beginning!
