A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas fanfiction.
Summary: Now, in that study at the river estate, Cassian looked down at the female who would be staying with him for the near future. At the eyes that had drained of fire at the sound of her sisters words and were now nothing but hollow, unseeing. “You’re coming with me to the Illyrian Mountains,” he told her. Those steel blue eyes bore into his, unblinking. He waited for the retort, for the snide remark that would send him reeling but it didn’t come. Somehow, that was worse. It meant that the situation was far graver than any of them had realised.
A Nesta & Cassian fic - a tale of how Nesta slowly starts to heal and how she & Cassian grow back together.
The first fanfic I've read and I couldn't have chosen better. This was so good, even if it's not finished. I loved all the new characters, the complex relationships, everything! I really hope the author comes out with the missing chapters.
I think about this constantly. The characters introduced in this story are magnificent. The plot is magnificent. This solidified Nessta and Cassian as my favorite couple is the ACOTAR series.
Even though it's not Canon, I wish it were (wish it didn't end on a cliffhanger either) This was beautifully written. I love ACOSF, but this is up there in it's own way.
I laughed, I cried, I was amazed. Also holy plot twist 🤯. It was beautiful!
This book was pretty much exactly what I’d hoped ACOSF would be. Nessian’s relationship progression was done beautifully and I felt like all the characters stayed true to the original authors characteristics. I liked the fact that Feyre wasn’t pregnant in this one and we got so many more heartfelt Nessian scenes, which is what I felt was lacking when I finished ACOSF. I’m ACOSF, once Nesta accepts their mating bond, feyre’s pregnancy became the main focus and before I knew it the book was over. This story felt much more focused around just Cassian and Nesta, with fewer outside interruptions. Amazing book, not completely finished yet, but not sure if the author will choose to finish. Still, my rating stands.

EPIC. However I don’t think it’s finished. It’s almost been a year since the last chapter was posted. But also.. if the cliffhanger was intentional, also brilliant and a highly, highly recommended read for all fans of ACOTAR
No cause i think this is the wrong book? Can’t find the other one on Goodreads🥲 but same author. Exactly the Nesta/Casian/Azriel smut I was missing in acosf
This book was This book was freaking long! But it was a journey that I’d take all over again. This book highlighted what Nesta had truly faced coming out of the war. It was trauma filled, drawn out and lovely all at once. The author did an awesome job with this book. It was as though she had a better understanding of the characters even more than the original author herself. The fact that this book was written before A Court of Silver Flames and it coincided perfectly was so unbelievable! This author deserves her flowers. The encorporation of Mas and Rocksana was a key element for me because in as much as Cassian was always there I feel like it so integral to her person to have more than one important person in her life, the housekeeper and the orphan helped her share her affection so her happiness wasn’t solely dependent on Cassian.
This book took me through a whole journey of understanding nesta to despising her treatment of Cassian to being her, relating to her so deeply that it felt akin to reading my thoughts.
I’m so in love with Cassian and Nestas story because it’s so meaningful. So deserving. Because I feel so similar to Nesta it’s as though it’s my own story playing out. I ordinarily do not read fan fictions but it was recommended to me by a friend and because it’s a well detailed version of Their story I couldn’t resist.
I can’t lie, this book did make me despise a few characters from the original series. Like Rhysand. I’m still finding it hard to let go of how he used to hate Nesta. It’s understandable but still Nestas my babe 😑😂. Amren too may not be my best pick even though she was more formidable in this book. Frawlry absolutely scared me but if Roksana likes her so do I.
Cassian was so amazing. So imperfect and perfect at the same time that I became staggering. He was undeniably so well suited for nesta that it was unreal. It broke my heart though that at the end their mating bond was broken. I waited pages on end to witness that bond just to have it broken? There better be a part 2 for my sanity sake.
The writing in this book was Gorgeous. The world building impeccable.
The Illyrian society so similar to some countries today that it added that coat of realism.
The sex scenes were hard to understand because the description of their positioning was tricky at times but I guess the writing of those scenes got better moving forward.
The book didn’t feel finished. There’s still so much hanging in the air. So many questions that I’d like to have answers to.
Giving me a book 2 would be like giving me a taro flavored bubble tea right now. Ugh

Better than the book, lol. I don't know if it's my fav but it is definitely with alongside "AU when we pretend ACOSAF didn't happen" I love both, and they have such different approaches.
I loved this so much! Feels like the redemption Nesta deserved. Beautifully written, and not rushed. And I loved how Nesta and Cassians relationship evolved through this!
