Meet Drip, a little drop of water. Follow along as it travels through the water cycle in this beautifully illustrated board book for the very young.
From a droplet of water in the river to a cloud in the sky, Drip journeys across the earth and sky in a fun, informative board book that explores the cycle of a raindrop. A die-cut throughout the book emphasizes how nature is full of changes--but begins and ends with a tiny drop of water.

This book is so gorgeously illustrated, bright and colourful to get the children interested and is a fabulous story for little ones to start to learn the cycle of life, a well told story all about water, one that I enjoyed and I know that I am going to love reading this one to my grandchildren.
I would highly recommend this one for the enjoyment of children with the added bonus of starting them learning.
My thanks to the publisher Allen and Unwin for my copy to read and review.
Drip is a very cute young children's board book from author Maggie Li. It is also part of the Little Life Cycles series.
The book is very colourful, square in shape, smallish, and has a cut out in the middle the whole way through in the shape of a drip.
The book explains what a drip is, and how water is helpful and needed for a lot of things.
The sentences are kept to a minimum, there are no hard words and there are a few questions to be answered too.
I loved this book. It is longer than the average board book, although given the information it is also for older children than the normal board book level - which are mainly babies.
A very sweet, informative read which is engaging and enjoyable to read.
As a person with a science background, I think kids are never too young to start leaning the basics of science and the world around them. This little board book is a great start to learning about the journey of water, from how it falls to the sky, sinks through the ground, and ends up in lakes, rivers, and the ocean. With the cute little water dye-cut hole and sweet, simple pictures, little ones will love this little book while they learn the basics of the water cycle. Great for little scientists and Earth Day.
"Drip" me pareció de buena calidad ya que de manera didáctica va mostrando el ciclo del agua. El libro tiene una ranura de forma de gota de agua que se mantiene en todo el libro por lo que relata el viaje de la gota y muestra todo el proceso para cumplir su ciclo. El texto es llamativo para el lector y presenta un tema importante para que los niños conozcan, pero quizás le falta que presenten elementos interactivos para atrapar a los niños y que les interese más.
I really enjoyed reading the life cycle of "drip" and how the story comes full circle. This is a great book for early STEM learning and the cut-out of "drip" remains constant as the scenes change around it.
A very cute board book about the water cycle with cutouts as we follow a droplet through the water system into the ocean where they evaporate into a cloud, coming back to the garden where we started!
