A must read! This book does a great job of breaking down the importance of the practice of creating time with God everyday. It even gives practical applications of how to apply devotion to both scripture, prayer and just sitting still with God each day. I have recommended to so many friends to read.

If you are someone who wants to start or get back into the practice of quiet time - pick this book up and read a chapter a day along with your Bible reading and prayer time with God!

The fist 10 chapters are really slow the middle 10 are full of depth and interesting and I finished within 5-6 days at the end it began getting pretty intense and took me about a month to get through. As a new-ish believer I was able to keep up but many brand new concepts for me. My church purchased copies for everyone during our January fast and I thought it was great to read during a fast as it does go into depth about fasting
