She has moved in with Luca, her birthday is fast approaching, and a friend is about to tie the knot. There is magic in the air in Vanish Valley, literally. Nothing quite like stumbling across a body in the parking lot of the diner to put you off your breakfast though.
As much as Morgan loves a challenge, figuring out what happened to this guy seems almost impossible. He was last seen on camera walking into his hotel room, yet a couple of hours later he is lying face down in the dirt on the other side of town. How did he get there? No one seems to know.
A family reunion reveals that trouble is brewing and it’s down to Morgan to keep her loved ones safe. All she has to do is make it through this week without anyone else getting hurt, but that’s easier said than done in a family of witches. And what could be more annoying that one ghostly grandparent? Two.
Will anyone get their happy ending? Or are those visions of a burning house a warning of more danger on the horizon?
Bait and Witch is the sixth, and final, book in the Wicked Witches of Vanish Valley series.

Most of the people moved away and those who were left rebranded the town into a tourist town ever cents. The main character is a young witch who is the photographer for the local newspaper occasionally writes the story for the paper and teaches a photography class and she also helps solve local crimes murders and mysteries around town. Her whole family are witches and her boyfriend is a half witch. Along with her family her boyfriend her best friend and a few others she always seems to get involved in solving the crimes and mysteries in town. It is a very entertaining and fun read. Check it out
Endings and beginnings. Our heroine is looking at a lot of endings here, but will there be beginnings to follow? There will if she has any say in it.
This is book six of this series and the conclusion. Still, it works just fine as a stand alone. All the essential bits are covered early on.
This is a cozy witch mystery series. The story is well written, easy to read and full of both mystery and humor. The mystery is good, with enough twists to it to keep you going up until the end. This one is quite busy with lots of players and multiple mysteries as well as some added bits to wrap up the series, which it does rather nicely. Overall, this has been a very fun series and I look forward to seeing what our author dreams up next.
Highly recommended.

Things were going well for Morgan Jones. She and Luca are living together, it’s almost her birthday, and her best friend Birdie is getting married… so when the wedding was switched to a few days from now and she is maid of honor, the stress is rising. Finding the body of a dead guy near the dumpster in the diner parking lot is also adding more stress, as is the fact witch hunters might be in town posing a definite threat to her family. How is she going to deal with all of this when it’s all piled on HER plate?

Morgan is having a rough week as her BFF moved her wedding up to this weekend and she is the maid of honor; her and her boyfriend Luca are building a house; her birthday is coming up; there has been a murder near the diner; and there are rumored witch hunters in town. The characters are delightful and the murder mystery has plenty of surprises and twists. The storyline has a lot of clues, but it goes until the last minute to figure it out. This is the last book in the series so other storylines are closed as well. Sure wish this series would keep going. Well done.

When her bestie Birdie moves her wedding to Jett up to take advantage of a series of cancellations and discounts, trouble naturally follows
Morgan and her beau Luca already have their hands full with a new home build. Throw in the wedding for his brother and her bestie happening in five days, add rumors of witch hunters, and a crazy sister who is jealous that the big day for Birdie and Jett is not about Sparrow , it all adds up to magical mayhem and a rollicking good read

Morgan is taking her maid of honor duties seriously when Birdie’s wedding is moved up and will be happening in days. Getting sidetracked solving the mystery of finding someone near a dumpster wasn’t in her plans. And hunters might be in town. Excellent read best enjoyed if other books in the series have been read. Lots of ends succinctly tied up since this is the series finale book. Quintessential humour keeps you turning the pages; easy read to get through on your lunch break. Looking forward to this author’s next creation.
