The couple: Tommy and Wren

Length: 72 pages

Plot: Tommy is a world famous rockstar who is starting to feel a little discontented. He loves his work, but there's something missing from his life. One night on tour in Milan, he disguises himself and goes out on the town. There, he meets Wren, and Englishwoman touring the world. They hit it off, and he invites her back to his hotel. They get there, and Wren mistakes his tour manager for his girlfriend and takes off. It takes a while, but Tommy eventually figures out how to find and woo Wren.

Character development: I liked these characters. I'm not a big fan of the rockstar manwhore character, so I'm glad we didn't see that on-page. Wren was - I don't know. I'm always a little happy for and jealous of those people who are able to travel around without an actual job. Like, they just took off when they were 19 and decided they wanted to see the world, so they sleep in hostels and work a week in a vineyard to make enough money to eat and tour all the off-beat galleries. It seems dangerous and ridiculous and improbable and a little exciting. Off-topic. Anyways, she seems like a nice girl. Good luck to her.

This is book three in the Insta Love Collection. Oh My Goodness! The best book escape ever! Wren has finished and graduated.college, a dream trip around Europe with her best friend, Tara is underway until the trip crasher, Nick appears. Now Wren is left as the third wheel. Tommy is the lead.singer of Fraction Nine, they just finished a show and the band is out wandering the streets of Venice before they take off for the next show. Tommy and Wren meet and hit it off perfectly. Wren has no idea who Tommy is but Tommy intends to come clean. Miscommunications and misinterpretations provide some interesting twists. I absolutely loved reading this story, I actually felt like I was Wren. What an exciting wild ride!. Get comfy because once you start, you will not want to stop until you read 'The End'. I cannot wait for more. Enjoy!

Super quick read but still hit all the places you need for an Insta just connection.

Wren is travelling with her friend, but ends up been a third wheel to her friend and the guy who joined their trip last minute. Wanting to get away from them she wanders around venice, getting lost and bumping into a stranger with sunglasses on and no phone or money on him, sparks fly but even the best laid plans to wrong.

Tommy winters. Hot rockstar strolling around Venice wanting to unwind after another great show bumps into wren and when she doesn't react to the rockstar Tommy the connection starts and he finds himself searching for her when they separate.

Great read, hoping that in the future we get more of not only these two but maybe the band too!

Who knew getting lost could lead to this type of intense union??!! Tommy and Wren define total opposites, but they put in 100% from their first chance encounter and let the sparks fly. What’s next in this series...

Wren and a friend were touring Europe, but was left mainly on her own. In Venice she crossed paths with Tommy and they seemed to get along quite well.
This is a short story in Blame The Mistletoe anthology and enjoyed the simple flow with romance intermingled with a bit of mystery. I especially liked the description of a contraceptive I have not heard or read before, more poetic.

this was an enjoyable read you get everything you would expect and a happily ever after.

I found it strange that wren is a fan of tommy's band yet she does not recognize either his face or his voice?

There too were many meeting partings and meeting again for such a short book and I find it annoying when characters just to conclusions instead of actually asking what is going on.

I did like this book, I would not read it again but I would read other book in this series or other book by this author

This is my absolute favourite genre rockstars, bands etc and this is the story of Wren and Tommy. Tommy is in Venice he doesn’t have his wallet or his phone and he’s lost until he bumps into Wren who’s a lonely woman in the city of love she doesn’t know that Tommy is a rockstar, they have one night together but will it be enough for these two lost souls?. I loved this story even though it’s a short one it’s a fantastic one it has all of the feels and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

What happens when a third wheel meets a stranger while walking the streets in Venice?
Wren was suppose to be traveling with her friend but her friend invited her boyfriend so Wren site sees on her own.
Tommy is the lead singer of an American rock band traveling through Europe.
This short sweet romance was just the perfect length to hook you right from the beginning. You will keep reading just to see if Wren every finds out how famous Tommy really is.

Venice and a hot rockstar, sign me up. Two of my favourite things wrapped in a sexy bow. Almost too short, i didn't want it to end but I definitely enjoyed it while it lasted. With travel and any connections not available this was the perfect little fix to kind of make up for it.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this quick story about Tommy and Wren. She's on a trip to Venice with her bff and a friend, making Wren the third wheel. Tommy is a rock star, lead singer of a popular band, who happens to be playing in Venice. While admiring the city at night she stumbles upon a handsome stranger. Tommy needs a break when he asks Wren to use her phone since he's lost. They hang out and get to know each other, but a misunderstanding blows it up in her face. Now he can't stop thinking about her and it's determined to find her again. Very romantic and a HEA worthy a fairytale.

Wren and Tommy's story is heartwarming and will make you feel good. She literally bumps into him in the middle of the night. It's Venice the city of love. He's a famous rock star hidden behind his dark glasses but she didn't have a clue who he was. He's lost and is without his phone of money an she's lonely. The attraction between them is instant and their chemistry is explosive. One night of passion will never be enough. The story was engaging. The characters were likable and developed. Some twists. The Star by Autumn Archer was the hugely romantic, deeply touching story of Tommy and Wren. He’s the renowned lead singer of a rock band. She’s a girl trying to find her way. They are both lost and find each other in Venice. She has no idea who he is….and he is completely taken with her.

This story is a fast read…and just jaw-droppingly tender, sweet, and the most romantic story ever!!! Loved these two characters….neither like what the other expects. Absolutely perfect read!!!

Tommy is on tour with his band. Different cities every night. With his band they sneak out, but Tommy gets lost in the city. He meets Wren. Wren is lost too in the city. Two lost souls looking for someone in the city of love.

This is just such a sweet instalove romance with chemistry between Tommy and Wren. I loved how he keeps his secret and how it is finally revealed! Told from dual POVs reveals intimately their thoughts feelings and emotions as they explore their relationship. There's an epilogue and a HEA 💓

Oooo I loved this book, it was sooo sweet.
How could you not fall in love with Tommy, the lead singer and the star, and Wren, the cute student who’s traveling.
Their attraction is indeniable, the love scene swoon worthy and the end... sigh!
Just read this book, you won’t regret it.
I hope we will see more of the other band members as well!

Refreshing! I love the way Tommy and Wren find each other and let their hearts lead the way. The book is full of unexpected adventures making me wish that COVID will leave us alone so I can rediscover Italy. Their story is so good written that it made me feel like it's possible to fall in love on the streets. In my case, a second time.
