A lot of emotion and heart in this HP story, which I love.

Sexual tension and chemistry between the couple, which I love.

Tasteful, emotional and intense sex scenes, which I love.

I love fairy-tail story lines, my escapism, but they can be redundant. Not this one, it was refreshing and well done.

Crown Prince Alessio was a broody, sad and lonely hero. But he transforms to a wonderful hero thanks to our heroine and love.

Hannah Barrington, an artist that has had a lot of tragedy in her life. She's closed herself off to love and relationships to protect her heart. But it takes a "teenage crush" from her past to let down her guard and love again.

The relationship development, the chemistry and dialogue in this romance was well done. This author is new to HP and hoping her books continue to evolve into great HP.

Another fabulous story from Kali Anthony she really knows how to capture the emotions of her characters and bring them out on the pages, I loved meeting Alessio and Hannah both who deserve love so much, this is one that is really worth a read sensual and emotional and sure to leave you smiling.

Crown Prince Alessio is nothing like his father who has recently abducted Alessio goes by the rules and is there for his country, Alessio commissions Hannah to paint his portrait, she seems hesitant for some reason even though he is paying her a fortune for it, so he arrives on her doorstep to convince her, there are sparks from the first meeting, but there is this feeling he maybe has met her before he cannot discount it and makes her an offer she cannot refuse to do his portrait.

Hannah Barrington is one of the best portrait artists there are and has been heart-broken in the past and is doing her best to keep her head financially above water these days but painting the Prince’s portrait is not something that she wants to do there are way to memories that come back to her when thinking of him. But she takes on the job and finds herself on the royal plane heading to his country in the Mediterranean.

I do love a good royal story and this is a great one the emotions and witty banter had me turning the pages as Alessio and Hannah find love and a beautiful HEA after a few hurdles are crossed first, I loved how Hannah made Alessio see himself as a better person broke down those barriers he had up to be the perfect Prince and how Hannah showed strength to stand up to Alessio and so much love, this is one that I would highly recommend, I loved it.

My thanks to the author for my copy to read and review

New author to me and what a fabulous discovery! I shall read more!
I loved this slow burn, fabulous romance with fascinating characters.

I have to admit, I am usually so fed up with royal stories. Europe appears to be littered with hundreds of tiny principalities and kingdoms and I find them all so utterly unbelievable I’m afraid. However, KA managed to get me to suspend all disbelief and intolerance and simply enjoy!

I wanted a longer denouement and more grovelling! Hope Stefano has his own story!

Off Limits to the Crown Prince by Kali Anthony is a beautiful story which is captured in moments, banter and wonderfully descriptive writing.

Hired/Ordered (you decided) to paint Crown Prince Alessio’s coronation portrait, Hannah sparks disapproval from the moment they meet at his stiff and commanding ways. Not knowing they had met many years ago Alessio can’t understand why Hannah deviates from how most people treat him. The communication between the two is brilliant and quite a wonderful part of the story. Spending two weeks together to enable Hannah to learn all about him soon has both in-sync with each other such as a shared love of horse riding. As they grow together and decide to have one night only which leads to more so does Alessio’s and Hannah’s love story. The inevitable betrayal and conflict dramatises their love story just right before a beautiful epilogue closes a beautiful story.

I really liked this story, I was only going to read a chapter at lunchtime and I couldn’t put it down. I particularly loved the banter and I loved the uncomplicated plot and drama and I enjoyed the growth of the two characters and their love story together. I’m wondering if there will be a story for Alessio’s best friend and I will miss these characters when I move onto my next book.

Crown Prince Alessio has become the ruler of his country because his father abdicated the throne. He keeps himself on a high pedestal to his people as trying to different than his father is his goal. When he decides to commission a portrait to add to the past rulers he doesn't realize that he has met someone who will take him down a few pegs.
Hannah Barrington is just barely keeping her home together. After the loss of her parents and her horse she is trying to save her cottage that her uncle put into debt. She lives for her painting and hopes she can save her home. When she is approached by the prince she at first refuses to do his portrait but the money will help her. Not realizing she will have to go to his country to do it. Will this lovely lady take the prince down a few pegs? just watch. A fantastic book by Ms Anthony would give it more than 5 stars if I could. a keeper

Firstly, can we take a moment to fully appreciate how incredibly gorgeous this cover is? It suits the characters and the story perfectly, I love the chemistry that radiates from the cover!

I have loved Kali Anthony’s beautiful stories since her amazing debut – which seems like such a long time ago now, and now book three (I need to write my review for her second book) has landed and that magic I loved is still as strong and engaging as ever.

I love that Off Limit’s to the Crown Prince doesn’t fall into any of the stereotypical tropes – which is one of the reasons I love Ms Anthony’s writing, she doesn’t conform to what is expected from this genre, she does her own thing and in the process creates some of the most endearing and sensual love stories.

Crown Prince Alessio is a man who doesn’t take no for an answer, he wants only the best so when he decided to commission a portrait of himself only the best would do.

So his aide finds him the best in the business, a down on her luck, a young artist who has lost everything she holds dear and now she is on the verge of losing her home too. When His Royal Swoony-ness struts into her little studio and practically tells her (as I said he isn’t a man who takes no for an answer) that she is to paint him, well you can imagine what our young painter think of that. Despite her being in sore need of money she has got the guts to say no, she won’t be bullied, but what he offers may be too tempting for her to refuse.

Kali Anthony has a gift of creating a character that not only are they shiny and new and slightly other-worldly but then you have the very real and relatable aspect of their character, such as Hannah, we can all relate to her in some way, she is like the girl next door she is the friend everyone has or wants; kind, artist, friendly, clever, caring and deep down a little fractured. Alessio on the other hand is the other-worldly part of the story, he is godlike, classy, sophisticated and dazzling which is all skin deep. I liked Alessio – true it took me a while to warm to him, but once I got past the demanding royal part I liked him as a man. He isn’t spoiled, true he likes to get his way but there is a hidden sadness to him that pulled the heartstrings.

The relationship between Hannah and Alessio is one of understanding and learning from each other, but it’s also tantalising, sexy and very natural. I loved how they progress through the book, they seem very in sync with each other and share a love of horses and art.

Off Limit’s to the Crown Prince is gorgeous, it’s a charming love story that whisks the reader away to tempting warmer climates which includes even warmer chemistry.

I was all set to read Snowbound but two pages in I realise it was loosely linked to this story which I had put somewhere and couldn't find. Fortunately I remembered I'd taken it with me for a family get together and hadn't got around to unpacking the bag. Whew. Bathtub read time.
This is a lovely story about two broken people. Yes you've heard that one before. It's a pretty common trope in Presentslandia.
What is unique in this one is the way they are broken. In fact Alessio doesn't even realise he's broken though Hannah is too well aware of her woundedness.
The worst of it is that Alessio is inextricably linked to her tragedy just by being where he was at the time and even the mention of him brings back all the pain.
Alessio on the other hand, is so focussed about what he wants, he doesn't really notice that there is something behind her reluctance to paint his portrait so he keeps pushing, finding her week spot in her need to save her home after a family betrayal. He thinks it's the money, she is about preserving her parents memories.
This is a lovely journey between the two of them. Hannah has no choice but to poke and pry into the prince's life and feelings because that's part of her process to paint a portrait. Alessio is certain that there's nothing to find. He's too busy ensuring he is the perfect prince, an antidote to his sleezeball of a father who used his country as a cash cow and was constantly unfaithful to Alessio's mother.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It didn't make me cry which might be a good thing because the last book by Kali Anthony left me totally wrung out from all the emotion.
There is plenty of emotion in this one of a different kind. Hannah is strong and doesn't succumb to her past tragedy. Alessio is a wonderful hero and he does good grovel. I look forward to reading Snowbound to find out how Stefano finds his redemption.

i like it, this has a few cheesy moments like K-dramas lmao

the heroine is an artist and the hero is a prince who sought her to paint his portrait, even after she rejected his request, he kept insisting. for he promised to pay her five times, if im not mistaken, she accepted as her uncle left debts.

A stunning and emotional romance filled with two things I love, artists and royalty. Alessio is a prince striving for perfection after his father almost destroyed the country's image and Hannah is just the woman to bring him out of his shell and uncover the man he truly is.

Off-Limits to the Crown Prince this is Kali Anthony’s 3rd book and I was hooked from the end of the first chapter, I was only going to read a couple of chapters with my morning coffee, coffee finished and a little while later so was the book.

Alessio a Prince who is haunted by the scandalous way his father lived and reigned so he was determent that he will be a totally different kind of ruler. Ruling is about royal protocol, and duty with not a lot of room for fun, love or even close friends (keep and eye out for Stefano he will make you smile).

Then Hannah is commission (or commanded) to paint his royal portrait she is very different to anyone else in his world and he is not quite sure how to deal with her, she is fiercely independent and in a lot of ways very innocent and unfortunately for Alessio also irresistible and very forbidden and he doesn’t know how to handle the attraction that her feels for her as she is not Princess material so he can’t see a future for them.

For Hannah life has been about experiencing one loss after another and is dealing with possibly losing the only home that she has known so when she is commissioned (or commanded) to paint Alessio’s portrait she doesn’t want to do it but knows she doesn’t have a lot of choice. Hannah finds Alessio a challenge to paint as he doesn’t understand her way of doing things (he will learn) and as her feelings grow for him she can’t see that they can have a future but as we all know Love conquers all even stick in the mud Princes.

What a wonderful couple Hannah and Alessio are, their story was a very emotional and I read many pages with tears in my eyes but I also had quite a few chuckles along the way.

Well done Kali this is definitely a ⭐⭐🌟⭐⭐ book it ticked all the boxes for me and will be living with your other 2 books in the Keeper Book case 😍

This book has been raved about in twitter that I simply had to take notice. Yes, the hype is real. This is everything I love about category romance - the angst, steam, and groveling which all lead to a very emotional quick read and highly satisfying HEA. An author to watch out for!
