(Also writes under the pen name Natasha Jackson).

Hey I'm Natasha and I love stories. I love to read them, to watch them and most of all I love to wrtie them. I find people endlessly fascinating and frustrating, which makes for the most interesting stories!

I also love politics and true crime so in addition to writing romance, I also write political satire & thrillers. It has been my dream to make a living as a writer since I was a kid and got lost in Judy Blume, The Babysitter's Club and Sweet Valley High (is my age showing?!?!). When I'm not writing I can be found engaging in one-sided conversations with Rachel Maddow, singing very loudly very badly and trying out new cuisines from around the world.

I love to laugh, I gave my husband a sappy pet name and I think answers to most of life's dilemma's can be found in an episode of Dawson's Creek.

My first series, Mustang Prairie, is small town romance because I feel they offer a variety of fun characters whose lives are interconnected. It is based loosely on my college town, which was the smallest town I've ever lived in...Go Panthers!

Bared is the first book in the Green St. Girls series by N.D Jackson. I have loved reading N.D Jackson’s other books, so when I saw this, I snapped up a copy and dove right in to see what she had in store for us this time. It is a great read- a contemporary romance- with wonderful characters. The story had all the ingredients to keep me avidly reading- and before I knew it I had devoured the whole story- in one sitting.
As expected, N.D Jackson writes beautifully- her descriptive details brought the story to life- the characters especially are really well developed, complex, and quite endearing. I loved meeting Athena and the rest of the Green St. Girls- add Tru to the mix and the story really shines! Can’t wait for more. Bring on Book #2!
A great start to a new series!
Happy Reading!

Thank you, N.D Jackson!

Bared is book one in the Green Street Girls Romance series by N. D. Jackson. The story was an emotionally charged drama that flowed along gracefully and dramatically. Athena and her soul sisters were ready to take on the world and falling in love was not in the cards for her. Tru comes along and rocks her to her very core. She was unprepared for all of the feelings he invoked, all that he represented and the way he wedged his way into her heart. She had her girls and her business and that was all she needed. Or so she thought.
These characters blended together well and despite their individuality, they connected very well and were a pleasure to read about. The author spun a wonderfully intricate and thought provoking tale. A fabulous introduction to the Green Street girls. An endearing story. 4 stars.

Athena is getting ready for the WPBA Pool Championships at her bar, the Shamrock Pool Hall and Pub when Tru walks through the door. Something about the man has her agreeing to a date and spending time with him. Having been burned once before Athena she is cautious, but can she find a happily ever after and trust Tru.

The thing about this book is it has amazing characters. I really liked Athena, she is sassy and when she is with Tru the pages ignite. Tru oozes magnetism, he has an allure about him that keeps you riveted. Great beginning to series.

How could I not fall in love with this book? The author had a talent I will say upfront on how to grasp the reader as well as make them feel EXACTLY what the characters are feeling. I felt so emotionally involved and I truly felt I was right there with the characters in the book.

This book was focused on a group of girls whom were friends, who needed one another as much as they strived to live. They called themselves The Green Street Girls. Instantly, I felt so connected to each of them, they all went at a time before anyone should have to endure, to survive on their own. They were one another's hope and reason to stay strong as well as go on with every day. What they had been through, was really powerful in sense of how it made me feel. You felt those moments You felt those emotions. And you defiantly felt those hardships.

The girls Athena, Charlie, Gwyn & Indigo were all different but still very remarkable characters. Hardships had shaped their form to whom they are today. Especially Athena I would say. You can say she was in resemblance with a mule with terms when it came to her beliefs to love. She truly felt it was something not meant for her and it was just a load of crud basically. Truly my past self defiantly related to her.

This was everything she stood by with good reason, till Tru comes into her life. And everything she ever believed came into question. Plus she found someone that truly challenged her mind and her heart. It was indeed not all sugar canes and lollipops for when they first met and interacted. Athena knew though this was a different feeling, one even though how hard she tried she would not be able to let go or escape, no matter how hard she tried. They endure a lot together, Athena and Tru, I felt everything really. It was impossible not to feel their emptions or their pain or their stubbornness basically. I kept wanting more and I could not put this book down. It was good like eating a fresh chocolate strawberry. You could not stop at just one bite or in this case, one page turn.

I loved this book for everything it is. And I truly am already dying for the next books in the series. I really want to see what happens to the other girls and what life throws at them or tests them with. The novel was truly enjoyable and I loved being able to feel all the emotions this book brought on!

Highly recommend. Its really good and it certainly delivers an amazing story. It was my first read by this author, now I must go obtain all their other books :)

Again, truly had a great time reading this novel :)

Bared. (A Green St. Girls Romance) by N.D. Jackson - Review by Jessica Stone

I almost didn't even know how to start this review, I just read the first and second book (Broken) back to back and I'm in love with these ladies, and they're wonderful men.

So Bared, is about our gorgeous goddess Athena, who is wealthy, down to earth and just a little bit damaged due to some traumatic experiences that happened when she was just a girl of 17. These experiences pushed her into being the strong, independent, no nonsense woman she is today, she let them shape her and motivate her to be successful in the business world, Athena now running and owning multiple clubs across the US. The only problem is Athena trusts no one, and Love? Besides for her chosen sisters Gwyn and Indigo, love is a foreign concept. Something she's sworn off, believing she's too damaged to feel it for a man again.
But where there's a strong woman, with a sordid past, there has to be an equally strong man ready to tear down all her walls and make second guess everything.

Enter Tru. Tru, in his own way is equally damaged from a past relationship that he thought would be his end game, but it just ended up being a game. Seems like Tru must like games because he happens to be a professional billiards player with some pretty rad skills.
Boy meets girl. Tru heads to a tournament in Chicago, which just so happens to be held in one of Athena's Clubs, one of her newest and latest projects and when they meet, fireworks.

Can these two hard headed, strong independent people get over their pasts and embrace the love that's surely brewing between the two of them, or are the destined for loneliness to save themselves from heart break.

Ugh, Tru, is such a hard head, he's typical masc man, but definitely with a sweeter side with a slash of southern gent, minus the accent, but I get so frustrated when he takes everything so personally and compares it to his ex, makes me want to reach into the book and flick him in the nose. But the same can be said for Athena, her strong will and drive are admirable, but she's so closed off and closed minded when it comes to Tru I could wrong her neck. But all of the things make these two and their relationship even more endearing, because you go through these battles with them. You can't help but fall in love while standing on the side lines rooting for them. Loved this book, I highly recommend!

When your best friend demands you to live your life on her death bed, you tend to have to make good on the promises.

Athena is young and successful, being thrown out of your home at 17 and force to live on your own was a hard lesson to learn but in walked the family I choose, my girls, Gwyn, Indigo and Charlie became all the family I needed. Until Charlie got ill and all the money in the world which they had could not save her, so on her death bed in typical Charlie style she made me promise to live life and find love.

Tru is living the life he always wanted, most people say a Professional Pool Player is not really a career but tell his bank that. All he is interested in is the top prize and winning this will catapult him to the top of the listing and more sponsorship and recognition he deserves. Arriving at the venue he spots a beautiful woman who he just needs to get know, when they finally get to chat he discovers that she is the owner of the pub and various other clubs and bars throughout the country.

As Athena gets to know Tru she is more aware that the intial fun she wanted to share is becoming more serious and that Charlie may have had a point of finding a forever person and she may have found them in Tru.

Can they both put there past behind them and embrace the future together?

I loved this book, it is full of emotion and tragedy which is heart-breaking and draws you in from the first chapter. I loved the character of Athena, she is definitely a woman to not mess with, with her passion and ambition was a refreshing read and that said Tru was just enough Alpha to be strong with her but his softer side really was a counter and calming influence to Athena which was lovely.

I loved the secondary characters and they enhanced the story and showed that family can be grown and chosen, with the way they were complete ready to have each other backs and damn the world was brilliantly and engaging to read. Thank you for a brilliant and well written story and can't wait to read about the Green Street Girls.

N.D. Jackson created Bared with a focus on Athena from the Green Street Girls series.. A riveting opening with Athena promising her best friend Charlie that she would live a real-life, no matter how painful it could be. Athena successfully becomes an owner of several nightclubs throughout the world and is opening a new club in Chicago that will be hosting the World Pool-Billiards Association’s Inaugural Tour of Champions. As Athena is preparing for a press conference, Trumball “Tru” shows up early for the tournament. From the start, the two are drawn to one another and get along well in conversation. The only issue that came between them was the internal fear of trusting anyone that Athena had. Despite all of his efforts to get her to open up, Tru is left wondering why she didn’t trust him. Tru divulged all of his past and even allows Athena into his personal life with his mother but this does nothing to get her to open up. One evening, as they are approaching Athena’s home there is a man waiting. The encounter is one that changes every part of the relationship.

This is an excellently executed story that addresses' loyalty, trust, and even racial issues are lightly touched on. Athena comes across as a tough as nails person, but her inner emotions are conflicted after losing Charlie. While she tried to prove to everyone that she continued on with life by having one night flings, skydiving, and parties in her clubs, she never really lets anyone in. Tru, while having been hurt in a past relationship, seemed to be more open and honest. If looking for a romance novel with a strong female lead, then Bared by N.D. Jackson will fit perfectly.

Athena is the character that I didn't know I needed. She is strong and fierce and knows how to run her own businesses and make a hell of a profit. She has her sisters (in name, not blood) and they are proof that a woman can do everything a man can do - even in a predominantly man's world - and even do it better. I was instantly hooked on this story from the first page and could not put it down until it was finished. The storyline at the beginning tugs on your heartstrings in such a way that makes you root for Athena, Indigo, and Gwyn. This was Athena's story and it was told incredibly well. I felt her pain, her inner turmoil, and her happiness with every line written. She had an extremely rough time from 17 on and she turned it into one of the best things that could have happened to her.
Tru is the epitome of what happens when a good-at-heart man works extremely hard to get where he is in life. There was nothing that came easy for him growing up and he proved that his determination could win out and he could do exactly what he set his heart and mind to. He is a professional billiards player and travels around the world doing tournaments and taking care of his mother. It isn't until he meets Athena that his past heartbreak becomes something he is ready to move on from.
The two of them together made this book something incredible. The chemistry between them was evident from their first meeting and my eyes stayed glued to this book until I soaked up every word. I cannot wait to see more from ND Jackson and the Green St. Girls! If you haven't read it yet, don't hesitate. HIGHLY recommend!

I loved this heartwarming and at times heartbreaking story about friendship and finding love, a real page turner of a contemporary romance. The storyline follows four girls who are known as ‘The Green Street Girls’, they include Charlie, Gwyn, Indigo and Athena. Each girl has their own story but they have all been sent away and were left alone in the world until they found each other and have supported one another ever since. This story centred on Athena who has a devastating backstory but who despite this is now a millionaire at twenty one and owns a pool hall. It’s at the pool hall where she first meets Tru, when he walked in as though he owned the place! She first noticed his confident walk and his killer smile and she thought he would be good for a fling but definitely not someone for any long term commitment. However, she soon starts to fall in love with him and hopes that he is also up for a more permanent relationship.

I loved the characters, especially the four girls and their friendship really came across in the writing, and I look forward to reading each ones own story in this series. Athena is very likeable and relatable and I really felt for her and could understand why she had built up walls to protect herself until Tru came along. The chemistry between them sizzled off the page and led to some steamy scenes. They were great together and I was cheering them on hoping they would get their happy ever after. I was hooked from the start and thought this was an enjoyable and engaging read and a great start to the series.

Bared. (A Green St. Girls Romance) by N.D. Jackson

4 out of 5 stars

Our past does not dictate who we are or who we become. This is what Athena, Indigo, and Gwyn are trying to prove everyday by working hard and being successful. Athena has built a life of success but is she really living? Athena, Indigo and Gwyn lost their fourth sister, Charlie, a year ago. No one has been the same, but Athena is the worst. Athena had already lost so much, her family, her town, her safe place. Charlie’s death was just one more person leaving her.

Tru Blake is a professional pool player. He arrived at his latest tournament with a goal, take home the prize. Tru didn’t know the prize was going to be the bar’s owner, Athena. Tru is finding that getting Athena to be open to more than just a fling is more difficult than making it as a pro. Will he be the one that can get her to open up?

N.D. Jackson created a world of Alpha billionaire women in a genre dominated by alpha males. I can’t get enough of Athena, Gwyn and Indigo!!! The women are smart, funny, successful, powerful, and deliciously delightful! The sisterhood they have formed is amazing. I am hooked! I laughed, I yelled, I cried, I cheered! I can’t wait for more from these three!

There are discussions around suicide during the story that might not be suitable for all audiences.

Despite her best efforts to keep her heart encased in a fortress, Athena finds herself giving up morsels of herself to Tru between steamy hookups and sharp-witted banter. The pair find themselves the center of attention among Athena's friends, who are concerned she's given up finding joy in life for the comforts of self-reliance, and Tru's mom, who wants to see her son settle down and have kids already. For Athena's part, she's still grieving her best friend's death and trying to overcome emotional baggage she's used to just running away from. For Tru's part, he's been toyed with before, and after spending some time together, is looking for more than just a fun time.

The author does a great job setting the scene and providing character development. This book has a strong, independent woman who isn't looking for a hero, which is my favorite type of protagonist; Athena is self-made and only needs to battle her own past to overcome the obstacles in her way. I found the plot to be refreshing in that it wasn't overly dark despite heavier topics (like grief and abandonment), there were healthy relationships between the characters, and the emotional rollercoaster that goes along with dating someone new was super relatable.

Bared.: A Green St. Girls Romance by N.D. Jackson

This isn't the first book I've read by Jackson and it certainly won't be my last. Bared is such a great read and I had a hard time putting it down. These characters had me hooked from the moment I started reading.

Athena isn't one to open up to people. When she meets Tru he gets under her skin. She wants to push him away, but her friends convince her to take a chance. The quote I chose for Athena is: “No. Trevor wasn’t that kind of guy. He was pretty damn sweet, actually, at least until I called it quits. Threatened to kill himself unless I took him back, if you can believe it. I thought that was something that happened in the movies. Well I told him it wasn’t gonna happen and he called my bluff. Killed himself, which somehow turned me into a pariah and that caused great embarrassment for my parents.”

Tru has had plenty of women over the time, but Athena is different. He wants to know everything about her. He is afraid that she's just like every other rich girl. The quote I chose for Tru is: “Then I’d say this is a great intro into picnics because we have booze and barbecue. Not to mention a living breathing goddess.”

Highly recommended for Contemporary Romance lovers.

Bared
By: ND Jackson

This is the first book of the Green Street Girls. Athena, Gwyn, Indigo and Charlie have all grown up with absolutely difficult lives but they have managed to overcome them and are now successful young women.
Bared is Athena’s story. She is definitely a very complex character and the author does a fantastic job of writing her with the amount of depth that she deserves. She was abandoned at age 13 and had to fend for herself. This gave her a toughness about her that is always on the periphery of her character. Additionally, she has a pain that is deep inside her that also colors her interactions with others. She has managed to make something of herself and is now a club owner. A career choice, that I feel fits the character of Athena that the author developed, it needs a type of deep seated toughness to deal with owning a club. She meets Tru and realizes that she may need to let her guard down to have the man of her dreams. She is hesitant to open up, but just maybe her pain in her past isn’t so bad that she can’t let someone in.
I definitely enjoyed this story, so much so that I read it in one day. I cannot wait to read the stories about the rest of the girls!

This is A Green St Girls Romance. I really enjoyed this book. The author does a great job of dealing with tragic events such as death and guilt in a considerate way. The story is deep and sad in parts but the romance is hot and steamy.

Athena has had a tough time. She has lost one of her friends to cancer and she was abandoned by her parents. Blamed for the death of her ex boyfriend. Athena just wants to live her life. She is guarded from everyone and never let's anyone in. That is until she meets Tru.

Tru is a professional pool player who is playing in the tournament held at Athena's pool hall. The attraction between them is instant and electric. Tru is only going to be there for the tournament so he wasn't looking for anything long term. However, Athena rocks his world. He wants to know everything about her, including what happened to make her build her walls so high.

Will Athena be able to protect her heart against Tru? Can Tru break down her walls to enter her heart? And what happens if they fall for each other? What happens when a quick fling turns into a passionate romance?

A promise to a best friend on her deathbed Athena swears to put her hurtful past behind her and to live a life that she deserves and that her friend won’t get to live. Athena feels she is doing just that while her other two best friends, Gwyn, and Indigo, beg to differ. She puts all her passion into building her empire, making sure her clubs run smoothly, quick one night stands, and building high, super thick, hard as steel walls around her heart. Trust Tru, young, youthful, and sexy as hell to bring all her steel walls down around her ears. A man in town for a billiards tournament threatens to tear through every defense, and distancing mechanism she holds dear. I enjoyed every steamy, grab you by the heartstrings moment of this book. It pulls you in and makes Tru and Athena so real you feel like they could jump right off the page as you feel every emotion with them. Bared is the perfect title for this as these two literally bared their souls to each other and promised to work through past hurts and I was here for every minute of it. I look forward to reading more of this series and the other girls and seeing where life takes this group.

Athena Montgomery is one of the Green Street girls. She and her friends have stood by each other through thick and thin since they all met at an apartment complex on Green Street in Chicago. They are family. Athena is a successful club manager and is worth millions. The only thing she has a problem doing is letting someone into her small circle.

Tru Blake is one of the players in the WPBA tournament that is being held at Shamrock. He is returning to Chicago after a long stint of being away from the city that created him. He’s learned a lot of tricks for playing pool since his younger days, but here he is back home and all he wants is to prove that he is the best.

Athena meets Tru at the Shamrock, the pool hall/bar that she purchased and pieced together in memory of her friend Charlie. Tru is a great male specimen, but Athena is only looking for something temporary. That is until the large wall around her heart begins to crumble.

ND Jackson has written a remarkable story involving two people who are running away from their pasts. Can Athena and Tru find something real in a future together?

Does a shattered past destroy true love? Athena runs a pub in Chicago where a pool tournament is being hosted. That's where she runs into Tru, an Adonis of a man, a professional pool player. Athena is living up to everything she has done in the past with men, but one of her best friends Charlie who she promised on her deathbed that she would do more with her life. Teu is just the man to do that with. At first she is just wanting a fling knowing he will be leaving soon after the tournament, but she never expected him to get under her skin and behind all of her walls she has put up. She is scared to let anyone other than her friends and sisters deeper into her life due to her past. As a teenager she was exiled by her parents due to a boy and it has haunted her life ever since because she can't move past it to let anyone else in. She finally bares herself to Tru in more ways than she ever expected. This was an absolutely amazing story. It kept me captivated and enticed the entire time. Its erotic and tempting but yet heartwrenching all at the same time. Hope to read more from N.D. Jackson in the near future!

Bared is Book One in the Green St. Girls Series. The story centers around a character named Athena who has had a hard time trusting anyone because of her past. She becomes a bit of a loner in a sense until she meets Tru who also has a hard time trusting anyone. The attraction between them is intense but having a relationship may be out of the question due to their trust issues. Athena makes friends with a group of girls who all have had hardships in their past. The girls call themselves the Green Street Girls and act as a support network for one another. Through tough times the girls lean on each other and help one another survive. I loved how the Green Street Girls helped one another through the hardest of struggles. Their friendship gave one another hope and a will to go on which I found endearing. I loved each one of the girls’ individual characters and felt their stories resonate with me. This book was beautifully written, and I could not help but feel an emotional connection with each of the Green Street Girls. I found myself cheering them on to find happiness, love, and a good life. I highly recommend this book!

I was pulled right into this story right from the beginning. I was ugly crying at what the Green Street Girls were going through. The author does a great job with her writing, I felt like I was right there with them.

We get to know Athena, Gwyn and Indigo. After the loss of their 4th sister each of the girls are dealing with things. Athena is the one that has suffered the biggest loss and is reeling from it. Why does everyone keep leaving her?

Tru is a professional pool player, he was taught from a very young age how to play. While at a tournament he meets Athena. Can Tru convince her to see more of him or will she stick to one night?

Wow is all I can say about these women. I loved the direction this series is going with the women and I can’t wait to read more from this series. All of the characters added a great element to the story. Be prepared for an emotional rollercoaster. If you're looking for a great series with alpha females this is the one for you. 1-click and get started today.

I truly loved this book, I really loved all the characters and just how real they all are!
I know, I know being a millionaire at 21 is not realistic but hear me out. The struggles Athena and Tru each have either individually or together was so very REAL! I loved how much complexity there was within these two characters. They both have been burned in their pasts, and it has had lasting effects like Athena’s hyper-independence. I won’t spoil anything but this led to very realistic issues and conversations and I just loved that. Sure it’s still a work of fiction but let me tell you this book was so refreshing because I could totally see these types of issues and conversations being had in real life. The spice was also amazing and the chemistry fantastic! Athena’s friends are amazing and again personalities were so distinct and you guessed it realistic! I absolutely loved getting to read about Athena and Tru, and honestly can’t wait to read more about the Green St. Girls!

Definitely a must read!

A straight up sexy romance novel. Despite there not being much in the storyline besides Athena’s reluctant personal growth and the push and pull romance between Athena and Tru this novel kept me engaged, reading more, wanting to know what would happen next.

Can’t say I’ve read a romance novel before where one of the main characters was a professional pool player, and I’m so here for it.

I enjoyed the added backstory of Tru’s mixed heritage and the stressors reared with that. Also, Tru’s mom was a hoot and such a strong supportive side character. I loved the impact she, as well as Imogen and Gwyn has on Athena and Tru’s budding relationship.

I admit I wasn’t the biggest fan of the teasing of Athena’s backstory. I feel like it would have had more of an impact if we knew the complete backstory story of what had occurred closer to the beginning rather than hints dropped here and there.

As this is advertised as one of the Green Street Girls romance novels I can’t wait to read more about Imogen and Gwyn, and to see where Tru and Athena are down the road.

This is the first of the A Green St. Girls Romance series. I loved this book, it got me emotionally invested from the first page.

There are plenty of heartbreaking parts to this story and I think that these aspects are written well – respectfully and feeling real.

I loved the characters and friendships within the story, but my favourite thing about this book was the author’s writing style. It’s clear, descriptive and flows so well. The author paints vivid images without over-describing the scenes, the character’s voices are distinct, and their thoughts and emotions feel real. While I absolutely love the story, I don’t think I’ve come across an author who’s actual writing is my favourite aspect. It’s almost as if I’m not reading it but living it through the character’s eyes.

I truly felt for Athena and her past; her experience and her development felt so real and relatable to my own experiences.

This is the first book I’ve read by the author, but I look forward to bingeing on the rest of their work!

Athena and her fellow "Green Street Girls" are all alone, except for each other. That's really the way they like it - able to choose the form of redemption they prefer. Athena chooses her redemption in the form of owning several nightclubs and currently working on one that will host the World Billiards Tour of Champions.

Trumball, or Tru, struts into her life when he shows up early for the Tour. He has a killer smile and confidence that almost can't even be believed. When they hit it off with abundant chemistry bursting between them, Athena decides to give him a bit of time he won't be able to forget. After all, even though her past is awful and she is a 21 year old, worldly millionaire, she can't ignore him and the potential of being together. She is unable to leave it as a fling and begins to have feelings for him. Where will their explosive chemistry lead?

There is drama and tension, passion and chemistry, strong female friendships with tough women, and sweet funny moments, as well. I'll be finishing the series.

This is an author that I have enjoyed from the first book I picked up. Her writing skills and attention to details give the story a realistic feel and pulls you in right from the beginning. This book is no different. I enjoyed being pulled in from the beginning and I had a hard time putting this book down. This is a story about four women who all have the same thing in common, they were left on their own at a young age. Athena doesn’t think she is capable of love until Tru walks into her life. What fate has in store for them only time will tell but I highly recommend reading this book to find out. They are great characters with great chemistry. I enjoyed watching the growth between them. They truly made the story for me. I can’t wait to see what is next for these women in the next book. This is worth the pick up.

Bared by N.D. Jackson hooked me in right at the beginning! We start immediately seeing Athena's heart shattering as her best friend, Charlie, is on her death bed. My heart strings were pulled as I felt their emotions.
Athena promises to live her life to the fullest. She opens Shamrock Pool Hall and Pub and that is where she meets Tru, the man who she cannot seem to keep away from or keep out of her head. Their electrifying relationship is phenomenal and the author did a splendid job of showing our spicy Athena taking on the very handsome pool player, Tru.
Although both main characters are wealthy, they are very relatable, and I appreciated the book for that. I didn't feel out of place and was able to picture the scenes perfectly. This book made me feel their desires, sorrows, fears and happiness. I recommend this book, especially if you want one that is hard to put down!

I was super excited to read this book by N D Jackson, I have read book by her previously so I couldn’t wait to get going and as I completely expected I wasn’t disappointed at all. She certainly knows how to command the attention of her readers; the pace and flow was excellent and the characters were wonderful to read about. I think what really shone through for me in this story was the connection the girls had – they were all so relatable and I just really wanted to be part of their group! I absolutely adored Athena, she was such a great character and I cannot wait for the rest of the series! I really loved the author attention to detail and how well she got across the feelings of these authors – I could honestly feel what they were feeling at times! This is definitely a one click recommendation from me! A fantastic 5 star read!

From start to finish, Bared (Green St. Girls #1) had me captivated! The characters that N. D. Jackson writes about are all thought out, relatable, and completely likeable! It had me wishing I had friends like those girls when I was younger. All of the characters dealt with their losses and triumphs in their own ways, but the connection between them all is truly amazing. Jackson showed how much each character cared for the others. This contemporary romance also has a surprising element in the sport in which Tru plays, billiards. Athena and Tru's relationship created such a whirlwind of emotions within me and I found myself celebrating their triumphs, scowling at their setbacks, and crying with the thought of them ending. This is definitely a must read and a newly found author for me! I can't wait to read more from N. D. Jackson!

This is Athena ' s story and who she finds in Tru. But that will not be so easy for Athena. Her life so far has been worth forgetting, the damage is already there. Okay so she promised her best friend she would try. A deathbed promise is the worst, Athena must give it her all. As for Tru, well he has his own story to tell. Can these two souls be the real thing? Will Athena let her wall come down and live the life she had promised?

N. D. Jackson, you have given me hope with this one! This story is well written and at times you find yourself standing beside Athena. The rollercoaster of emotions with pull at your heartstrings. I found myself unable to put this one down. I love everything about this story, and look forward to the next in Green St. Girls. Well Done N. D. Jackson! Well Done!
