Princess Snow White is hiding from her sister; the evil Snow Queen, in a village of dwarfs, along with her trusty owl Roger.

She’s living a simple life, forgetting all about the horrors of her past, when she stumbles upon a handsome huntsman, Emmett, who sweeps her off her feet. Literally.

While Emmett wants to escape the Chanted Forest and never look back, Snow seeks to restore peace in the Chanted Kingdom and save her twisted sister from her evil ways. And Emmett’s safe passage to the Northern Realm depends on helping Snow find the one person who can save her sister: Jack Frost.

Emmett and Snow join forces, facing deadly enemies, and in order to survive, they will need to rely on each other, and of course, on the animals of the forest, who only Snow can communicate with.

But not all is as it seems…

Y'all. This series has wrecked me for the foreseeable future. I just can't right now! Like literally can't! There was so much going on in the book that at times I felt like I had whiplash! 😂 Around 72% into the book I may or may not have yelled... WHAT THE CRAP IS HAPPENING?!?! I'M SO CONFUSED!! 😳 These twists and turns are cRaZy! But I've loved every single one of them!

Snow and Emmett are amazing! I absolutely adored these two! I loved watching their relationship grow from friendship into love. Their journey is full of all the feels... especially with the betrayal and secrets. But it was beautiful! I had the hardest time putting this book down. I found myself wanting to devour the book as fast as I can and reading slowly so I can savor every moment of their adventure. Y'all. The struggle was real! Gaaaahhh! I loved these two!

You guys! I am SO sad! I've caught up on all the books in the series and now have to wait months for the Above the Sea to be released. Maybe one of these days I might learn to pace myself when it comes to devouring a series I love! Keyword in that sentence? Maybe! I just don't have that kind of self control. 😂

Ms. Burton and Ms. Cal have done it again! I am seriously hooked on their books! I am SO glad that I discovered them! I had been looking for something unique and intriguing and I found it with the Fairytales Reimagined series. If you guys haven't tried it yet, then you are most definitely missing out. They are amazing!

As for my casting... *dreamy sigh* I love these two!

I have to admit, when I saw this being announced as Disney for Adults I was imagining a slightly different thing from what I've eventually gotten, but I'm still really enjoying it. Especially when I need a lighter series, a quicker read and something I can just read even when I'm a little tired. I was especially looking forward to this installment, since it feels like we've been building up towards this one from the very first one.

I have to admit that at times this book felt a little chaotic and all over the place, just like the second book in this series. In a way it was tying up the loose ends from the previous books quite nicely, but I also think it tried tying up a little too much, making it miss focus. And because there was so much going on, I have the feeling that Snow White and her Huntsman haven't gotten the attention and depth they could have gotten if this was more about them.

However, I was also kinda glad that we saw Aria back and that this book is also about her and the choices she made and what that did to her and why she has done all that. Although I would have loved a little more attention for Snow and her story, I think it was nice that the authors wrapped up Aria's storyline in this book and basically set the story free. It really felt like that, like the authors were using this book to set the story free.

And I can't wait to see how that will work out in future books! We've already met the stars of the upcoming novels, our mermaid and Ella, but it feels like they get a fair chance to have their own stories told, to make their own choices and to follow their own path. Since the authors are constantly adding original twists to the stories we know so well, I'm really curious how those two stories will turn out!

You guys I just Cant with this series !! The books are so amazing and this one was quiet capturing, I was literally grabbing at every second I could read in it. Again I will say, its the best Fairy-tale retelling I have read so far.

"PURE AS SNOW" The title was supposed to indicate snow white's story yet it all had to go back to Aria and how she regained her heart that was pure as snow :) .

I loved the concept of prince charming and the huntsman mashed up to have Emmett . The idea was brilliant. I loved how this book connected us once more with the first book in a more direct way, how we got to see now in more details incidents that were left a bit vague in book one. We still have the Rumple part that was cut short but I am sure it would be tackled in the coming books.

Emmett is a walking red flag. Every time Snow and Emmett have a “sweet” moment I cringe. I did not see how she could love him and vice versa but maybe they can because they’re both problematic.
Aria is my favourite character so far because she wants to do the right thing, but can’t. It also gave me the ick that Snow immediately saw Aria as less of a sister when she found out they weren’t blood related, while Aria still saw Snow as her sister (they found out at the same time).

Authors have clearly seen Once Upon A Time and tried to use some elements and failed miserably at it. I’m all for mixing fairy tales, but not when you so very clearly don’t know the original like Rumpelstilskin. Idk what they were thinking but OUAT made it their own but still true to the original (spinning gold on the spinning wheel, he has a lot of love for his kid, he’s a villain, etc. (These are simplified versions)). It’s okay to give fairytales twists of yourself but it still needs to make sense to the original otherwise it isn’t a retelling but a “new’ story.

Jack is a hypocrite, he literally killed the evil queen, but when Aria wants to kill George (also a villain) he is suddenly gonna play the moral police. You let a problem walk around free?! I fail to see how that’s a smart thing to do, you are literally ruling a kingdom…

I have a lot more things I don’t agree with but I don’t want to continue.

Another great book to the series. This is a different take on the classic Snow Whit and the Huntsman. The author brings strong characters and weaves a fun, entertaining story filled with secrets and lies as well as the romance. It's well written with descriptive scenes, moves fluidly and is a terrific read.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.

This series is so good! Snow keeps trying to find a way to end her sister’s evil reign. She joins up with Emmett (the huntsman) and they go to find Jack. Through the story they fall in love and end up together. Aria confesses to Snow that she had to freeze her own heart to become the villain that everyone else needed to complete their happily ever after. George comes back and becomes the new villain, which frees up Aria. These stories are just so much fun to read!

Perfect. Okay maybe not perfect, but it was an interesting retelling. Sometimes I had to really think and figure things out but it was so good. I LOVED it! A great short, quick amazing read.

I don't know what I was expecting but it definitely wasn't an story about Snow White falling in love with the huntsman. I did go together quite well. I love that this series includes some characters from previous books. It really does feel like they all live within a story!

This was adorable. It’s Once Upon a Time in book form. As with Once, there were many plot holes, but I read around them 🤣

Have you ever wanted to drown the protagonist? That was my only thought with Snow. I imagined drowning her, flinching her out the highest tower, drawing a bullseye on her, just offing her in multiple ways. I have read my fair share of annoying protagonists but this girl!!! She takes the cake! All she did was talk to the animals, explain she wanted to save her sister, and describe the WOODY, EARTHY scent of the huntsman. Wait, she also spent a good amount of time describing how he is gorgeous, and describing his lips and broad shoulders.

In all seriousness, Snow isn’t the worse protagonist, but she did annoy me enough to want to push her down a hill; not enough to kill her, just shut her up about the huntsman’s scent and lips. Apart from Snow’s awful descriptions, I liked how we start learning more about the world. We also get to see a bit more about Belle’s dad and all the characters we have met so far. But the best part, for me, is getting to see Aria’s and Jack’s story develop more. I also liked how the little mermaid has been tied into the story.

This series just gets better with each book 😍 I literally cannot wait for the next one.

This book was by far my favourite out of the current 4, which says a lot considering the snow white tale definitely isn’t my favourite fairytale (Unless you ask 5 year old me, Apparently 5 year old me watched the Disney movie every day, but 25 year old me barely remembers a thing from the movie!)

Snow and Emmett were my favourite pairing so far, but after reading the epilogue, i have a feeling Lexa and Ryke might steal that spotlight come September 👀

I 100% recommend this short but sweet series to any fans of the disney movies, the original tales, or even once upon a time! These stories take inspiration from countless sources and mix it all together so well 💜

I will say the only slight point i’m not a massive fan of in the series (and this is purely personal preference!) is Robin Hood, i don’t find his character particularly likeable, yet so far across the books he’s been the primary lynchpin connecting all the stories! I’m hoping now that he’s got his happy ending (Almost at least, him and Marian are still yet to wed 😳) he might just settle down and stay off the pages 😇😂 But perhaps that’s just me!

This fourth book of the series is one of my favorites so far.
Snow still wants to stop her sister. Emmett is getting used to his life after no longer being king.
Snow and the hunstsman come together to bring us an amazing journey, where friendship, love, hurt, and betrayal come together to keep us glued to each page as the adventure goes on and, surprise after surprise, this page-turner makes us root and believe that every one deserves a second chance and the HEA awaits us all, if only we just wait for it.
All these characters are so amazing, I could almost imagine all of them living right here among us, feeling their hurts, their victories, their chemistry, their love.
It's so nice and fulfilling to witness the emotional growth and the love of these two characters that were never meant to be together in the fairytale, but are so perfect for each other.
I can't wait for Lexa's story...
I received a free ARC copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.

In the third fairytale reimagine book the story continues with snow white. She is in search of Bell’s father and wants to find a way to help her sister Ariel the snow queen. In this book the Huntsman is Nathaniel‘s twin brother Emmett who is a Hunter for his people and a charming good looking one at that. Like in most Laura Burton books Snow white will find more than she’s looking for and yes the seven dwarves are definitely in this book. I love these books and it is always bittersweet when I’m done with the new book, because now all I can do is wait for the next. I feel so fortunate that I get to be an ark reader for the fairytale reimagined series, But make no mistake these opinions are my own and are definitely genuine. I highly recommend this book in every book in this collection.

This is the 4th book in this retelling fairytale series by Laura Burton and Jessie Cal. Absolutely love this rendition of Snow White. This book did focus moreso on Snows love life/romance more than the other books did for their characters. Throughout the book, Snow is not only figuring out who she is as a person but also how truly strong and brave she is. There is a bunch lose ends tied up from other sub plots in the other books, such as the conflict with Aria, the Snow Queen . Of course Snow gets her happy ending, but she did have to fight for it. Once again you see other fairytale characters such as Riding Hood, Belle & the Beast, the 7 dwarfs, Robin Hood, and many more! Cannot wait to read the 5th book which focuses on The Little Mermaid!

Title: Pure As Snow 🍏 ❄️
Pages: 280
Genre: fairytales 🧚‍♀️

This book was so amazingly good. I finished it in 1 sitting. This book is the 4th book of the series and focuses mainly on Snow whites story and her Prince Charming (the Huntsman). There are many similarities to the original Disney movie but yet so many differences that the author threw in there. This book had appearances from the snow queen, belle, rumple, jack, and a few other known and loved characters. The author does a great job making you hate some characters and really loving the others. There was happiness, sadness, love, surprises, and betrayal. I already started the 5th book, Above the Sea and I am loving it. Thank you Laura Burton for these re imaged fairytales!

I love this team up!😊 Both authors are amazing. This book was wonderfully written just as the other three. I love Emmett's connection and chemistry with Snow. Though it wasn't as explosive as Nathaniel with Belle in book 3, it was wonderful all the same. I love how both writers ensured a deep connection between both of them not just surface attraction. I also love Aria's connection with Jack. The queen of snow deserved it. It put a smile on my face and a tear in my eyes throughout. I love Emmett's development and how he was able to move on. Most of all, I loved hearing what animals think. Imagine if we could hear what animals say like Snow.😄

I wish all the books in this series were already written because when a new one surfaces I have a hard time remembering what happened in the last one & it takes me a while to get up to speed on the new one. But I do enjoy these books & this series. I love that Snow has an Owl friend, Roger, that is a big help to her. There is love, secrets, deception & lies so be prepared for the unusual. I don't know what else to say without giving away the story. If you like Disney characters, you will enjoy this series that is different. Be sure you start from the beginning as they build on each other. I received an ARC. This is my voluntary review.

The reimagined fairy tale drama continued in this book about Snow White as she tried to overthrow The Snow Queen, who happened to be her sister, Aria.  I enjoyed the many twists and numerous turns.  I also liked the other fairy tale characters in this interesting, action packed tale.  It was quite a page turner to say the least and I really liked the surprises that were in abundance, especially as the story concluded until the next book.  I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

Another interesting book to add to the Fairytales Reimagined series by Laura Burton.

This installment tells of the love story between Snow White and the Huntsman. While there were some obstacles along the way, their true love story is pretty sweet and instantaneous.

A fairytale worthy of it’s genre, they met, they fell, they battled they demons and they lived happily ever after.

I loved Emmett’s character development from the first few books to who he is now. And he truly became a man worthy of the purest of love with Snow.

Book 4 in this, fairytale reimagined series, is great. I would strongly suggest reading this series in order, to follow the connecting characters. This is the story of Aria’s (the evil Snow Queen) sister. This reimagined Snow White and the Huntsman is a story full of great imagination, adventure, secrets and of course HEA. Snow is pure and sweet. Emmett has been commissioned to bring Snow home. Never thinking he’d fall for her. So many twists and turns in this story, I couldn’t put the book down.

So I am going to start this by stating that normally I am not a fan of Snow White. But honestly, this is way more Anna and Elsa vibes than anything.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a well done story line but the character isn’t clearly defined. For a majority of the book Snow is way more like Anna than anyone else. Yet in the epilogue, she’s completely Snow White.

It’s the first time in this series that I noticed a massive inconsistency. I’m a bit sad about it just because all of the ones have been so good. However, it wasn’t bad enough to kill the series for me.

Solid 3 out of 5

I enjoyed this retelling of snow white a lot. We follow snow as she is on a mission to try and overthrow her evil sister the snow queen. In the process the snow queen intervenes and hires the hunter to track snow down and bring her home. All in the name of finding true love. Snow and the huntsman end up falling in love along the way. The story was a quick and easy read and I felt like this book in the series was one of the best yet. It progressed the overall plot and we got a good glimpse into Aria and her background as well.

The storyline for this book is good, it brought in some other "fairy tale" remixes that I have heard/seen previously. Snow slowly goes from a dainty woman to a strong woman. Lots of the story lines become more intertwined in this book linking different characters in a unique way. It has you wondering what will happen next in future books. This book also helps create an understanding and more likeable traits for some of the characters who you may not have thought as good of prior. This book also brought in Scottish folklore characters as well which is different.

Imagine if Snow White fell in love with the Huntsman!

This was such a magical story!

The blending of fairytales in this series continues to keep me captivated! The story is so enchanting and the twists and turns throughout keep you on your toes! It’s a super fun read!

Pure As Snow contains twists of the following fairytales:

*Snow White
*Lochness Monster
*Frozen
*Rumplestiltskin

My favorite story of the series so far!

I read this book in one sitting. This book in the series is probably my second favorite. It was quick paced and I loved the plot twists. Also, loved to see Aria and Jack come back together. The intertwining of all books in the series and the progression of each characters stories throughout is really well done. The progression of storylines makes me want to know what’s in store next for all the past characters as well as future ones.

Finally a Conclusion

Very good honestly, not my personal fave in the series, but still a good read.

I’m honestly happy that this concluded the Snow Queen’s reign and gave her the happy ending she always deserved. Also loved reading everyone’s happy endings / weddings!

This book was really an end for the 1st, and that’s completely fine. Again not my personal favorite, read it to complete the story.

This book went back on track with focusing on story rather than 500 different plot points. It tied up a lot of loose ends with aria finding her happily ever after. Jack coming back and sharing that all the characters are finding their happily ever after with the wrong characters and a new villain has been created.

All of this while exploring the connection between Snow and Emmett. It was a sweet story and could have ended the series there.
