Well, I do tend to love memoirs, no matter how poorly written, but this one was well written and heartbreaking. It always amazes me that a person can come from nothing. From abuse and neglect, and make a good life for themselves in the end. Some people wither and crumple and self destruct from adversity, and some people find it in themselves somewhere to rise above...and beyond.

This book is amazing. To go through what she went through, and be even half as positive as she is in the end, is nothing short of a miricle.

It’s a very tragic book about an abusive childhood. I truly feel for this woman.

Well written memoir of Teresa, and her eight siblings. The mother, and chaos.
Mom buys truck and camper to provide her children with summer vacation. Destination SFO…… first book of summer reads.

This book is beautiful, heartbreaking and yet heartwarming. We follow Teresa’s story of her upbringing and life in San Francisco and her dreams of wanting a better life for herself. As a little girl facing struggles most of us can never imagine, Teresa bravely allowed herself to dream when dreams seemed impossible. in doing so, she created a path to a life that’s now a testament to choosing positivity and envisioning possibilities. Today, the little girl lives a loving, fulfilled life close to the very city she once wandered alone and lost. Wildflower is a gripping account of triumph over adversity and may inspire you to dream an impossible dream!
