An extremely actioned packed, fast paced, beautifully (anime) illustrated book. The story wad ok but certain thing pushed this to 5 stars for me. I admit my personal bias here, for too long I think Spider-man has been treated with way too much disrespect since Brand New Day. I was practically jumping up and down to see him given a bigger role and standing up for himself, as a equal with the other Avengers. On a nostalgic point watchout for the Maxium Spider, from the war of the gems game.

The Avengers stopped Thanos from wiping out half the universe's population. Then they destroyed the Infinity Gems. However can anything so powerful be completely destroyed? Now the Red Skull has found a way to harness a portion of the power Thanos has, and the Avengers are literally powerless to stop him. Does that mean they give up the fight? Never!!!!

A beautiful book, and an interesting game if one ups manship between Tony and the Red Skull. A great mix of power and technology. With possibly a sequel coming soon, and can this version of Spider-man please make his way to the main MCU??? Please!!!

Honestly, there’s not much here but it is a fun take if you’re into Super Sentai aesthetics.

Tonally, it’s a mix of the MCU personalities with the usual comic ones.

It goes what it says on the tin. The Avengers go Tokusatsu. Iron Man has built these Mecha Armors using infinity shards after the Red Skull has used his own infinity shards to take away their powers. There’s some tension b/c the entire team relies on Tony’s technology and he does some stuff without telling them. It’s enough plot that the story doesn’t drag.

I appreciate that new armor designs are evenly spread out in the book. Speaking of the designs, they are fine personally. I would have liked them to not be so copy and paste of the originals. They don't hinder the poses, which big props to Chamba for that.

This was so fun omg, I love how this starts off as this Red skull getting Infinity shards and removing super powers from earth and then Avengers each get their suits and they have to fight the unending wave of threats the Red skull is making like Loki, Ultron and Venom and more and like they keep rising in threat magnitude scale and meanwhile tensions in the team like with Tony's secrets and even BPs but my god that ending especially with Wolverine and what happens there and its right out of an anime lmao, I loved that and that epic battle, predictable but it makes for such a solid read!

One of those Avengers stories that will make you love the team again, it has the element of new reader friendly and does well to establish the dynamics between the characters and adds fan favorite Spider-man and Wolverine to the team like "New avengers era" and makes the stories even more epic and personal and focus on a world where the devil won sort of with the power of the Infinite but the Avengers still finding a way to win! Its solid and perfect and everything in between! I highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed, its got everything from great art and anime feel to an epic story!

The plot is really just an excuse to cast Marvel characters in a sentai series. But it's a well thought out excuse, which was impressive. There's even some attempts at characterization in there, too. The sentai stuff didn't really appeal to me, but it's not bad for what it is.

Parts if this concept are pretty interesting with depowered Avengers.

And it really is what you expect it to be and what it’s Intended to be.

Would I pay full price for this one? No.
Was it a great bargain bin comic that entertained me while reading it and actually had an interesting plot? Yes.
