This was dense, and I'm going to have to read it a few more times before I'm confident that I understand it. The book listed examples for some of the subgenres, which made those much easier to understand. The main story types would probably have been clearer if they had more examples, as well. It was fascinating, though, and I do plan on reading it again to get as much information out of it as I can.

I also discovered that the audiobook is available on YouTube for free, which is worth a star just for that!
