This is another book I can't rate in good conscience because I haven't actually tried applying all the principles in my own life. And, thankfully, I don't have systemic insomnia.
The author clearly believes in the power of hypnosis for sleep and while I would normally have rolled my eyes at such a thing, a few years ago one of our kids had a health issue and the gastroenterologist we saw at a leading children's hospital recommended this very cool set of hypnosis audio files. They really did seem to help. (This has more to do with visualization.)
There wasn't anything shocking or new in this book, but it provided a good overview of many of the key things negatively impacting our sleep and a fairly straightforward, practical, non-judgemental approach to improving sleep quality and duration.
I plan to listen to some of the audio files (which you can access for free via the book).

Some good things to remember and put into practice, to hopefully get a better nights sleep. And good reminders about things I already knew.
