When I found out I was about to have the joys of parenthood thrust upon me someone handed me this book as (I assume) a way of reassuring me that I'd be a perfectly adequate dad. It worked. I'm really surprised that this book is no longer in print, it you can find a used copy then buy it! You might have to look hard as I've bought up quite a few copies to give to friends who are about to enter parenthood!
