The fourth exciting new Mountain Man adventure from JJ Bonham takes two mountain men to the brink of disaster and leaves them teetering there, waiting for the axe to fall—but will it?
The two mountain men who had become great friends over the past few years were leaving a wedding. The dang thing had gone on for three days. Their minds were not alert from too much moonshine, and they got bushwhacked, leaving Uzziah shot and Immanuel tomahawked in the head, left for dead. The gang of recently-gathered-together bad hombres left and went on their merry way. Waking up a few hours later, Immanuel found Uzziah down by the creek, washing out his wound. Everything had been taken from them except their union trapdoor underwear. They found the tracks of the six bushwackers, and on foot, both wounded, they walked after their retreating attackers. Doggedness was one of their better traits.
Suffering but healing, they found other situations made worse by the gang. Still, they continued their pursuit. Will the gang of six destroy more lives, or finally be brought to justice? Join the Mountain Man duo as they fight for what’s right and just in the world, regardless of the odds.
The Uzziah stories just keep getting better and better! An excellent mountain man novel with lots of bad guys, indians and adventure. I would definitely recommend it!
JJ Bonham is an incredible writer. He makes everything very interesting to read. I stay up at night and read two or three of his books. His style is believable, accurate, funny at times, but his characters are truly amazing! Thanks you!
