MMF shifter romance. I enjoyed it, but it's also pretty surface. Mates at first sight. Is that a thing. Anyway. This is a pack where every male has a scent mate and then the two scent mates share one female mate. In this one the heroine is a wolf researcher, so her interests conflict with both heroes interests. All in all this was a good read/ listen. If you like instalove and shifters, then you'll probably like this one.
I enjoyed the narration, but I think it could have been next level had it been duet narration. The voice actor did great, but something about hearing a new voice for different perspectives.

Landry & Wade have always known they were scent partners and when Wade is sent on a mission to check into the wolf biologist, Caitlyn, and stop her from investigating the wolves. However, he runs into a snag when he finally meets her...the cute wolf biologist is his and Landry’s mate.
Two shifter wolves just discovered that their fated mate is a wolf researcher whose discoveries, if made public, could endanger the pack. How are Wade and Landry going to get the girl, stop the study, and keep the wolves safe?
As always, I enjoyed the heck out of the characters. I mean come on, two men/wolves whose sole purpose in life is to please their mate, and I am not just talking about doing the dishes and laundry, they need to plleeeeeaaaasssseeee their mate (wink wink), and oh boy are they good at that!
In true Renee Rose and Vanessa Vale fashion, the sexy times are steamy, the storyline interesting, and the characters are great! Tempted is an enjoyable read and I can’t wait to see who’s story is next! I highly recommend and will keep on reading this series!

This is the first book in the Two Marks series and features Landry, Wade and Caitlyn. Caitlyn is a wolf biologist and is interested in Two Marks pack territory for her wolf studies. Wade is sent to investigate Caitlyn to see how much of a threat she is to their way of life and the land around them but realizes that she might be his mate.
Two Marks pack mate in pairs so Wade returns and tells Landry and he is now eager to meet their mate. But Caitlyn is human and does not know about the existence of wolf shifters and Landry and Wade are unsure about how to navigate their particular situation. Every ounce of who they are calls to protect and make their mate happy but what if Caitlyn is a threat to their pack? Can the three of them trust each other? If Caitlyn isn't a threat...then who is?
I really enjoyed this steamy MFM shifter story. It was suspenseful, thoughtful and just all around entertaining. I would have liked a bigger grovel from Landry and Wade and Caitlyn should have made them work for her forgiveness a little harder but overall I liked this fun story!

I love a good steamy shifter series, and no one does it like Renee Rose and Vanessa Vale. This spicy new series features the wolves of the Two Marks pack- who just so happen to mate in threes. If you’ve not checked out the free prequel novella Untamed, it’s a great place to start- but the first full length story Tempted delivers more heart and chemistry. This story was fast-paced, deliciously steamy, and jam packed with all that I love about shifter romance- alpha possession, female focused steam, growly protection, electric attraction, and a smidge of mystery.
In Tempted, we find the alpha’s brother Landry and his scent match Wade not only trying to prevent wolf biologist Caitlyn from exposing or endangering their pack secrets but they also surprisingly find that she’s their mate. A challenge not only because she’s a reclusive scientist but because she’s also a human and knows nothing of their wolfy ways- or their proclivity for only engaging in MFM partnerships. This trio has to not only figure out how to protect the wolves while keeping Caitlyn's dreams alive, but they also have to work through their fated mate bond….with lots of mating, of course. Wink wink.
This book is a lot of fun. Super smart for them to include a human mate for this series beginning- gives them reasons to do intensive world building for the reader, since our human heroine knows nothing of this world. We get to discover it alongside her, and it contributes to the plot vs. delays. It moved a bit slowly in a few places, but I much preferred having the longer content in this (vs. the novella) so we could really get to know the characters and for a real connection, outside of their rampant mating urges, to blossom. Though I loved all the mating urges too- these two authors KNOW how to write some hot scenes, and this book is deliciously spicy. But, I also really swooned over these two wooing and compromising and advocating for their mate. The unending alpha wolf devotion and worshiping of the female mate is what I love so much in a shifter story- and we get DOUBLE the wolfy worshipping- in the bedroom and out. HOT and sweet.
The mystery unfolded and resolved quickly, albeit a bit predictably, but I loved how they worked things out in the end, and I was excited to get to interact more with the characters from the novella as well. All in all, this clicked all my shifter romance boxes, and I’m excited for more from this world!

I've been missing the Renee/Vanessa alpha cowboy wolf shifters and couldnt wait for this release. As soon as it hit my Kindle I devoured it one evening's reading session. Prior to receiving Tempted I reread Untamed as a reminder of the introduction to the Two Marks pack (yes these shifters mate in pairs!). I thoroughly recommend reading the novella to bridge the crossover from Wolf Ranch to the Two Marks (by way of Shelby who I loved in the Wolf Ranch series).
This book is everything you expect from these writers shifter cowboys times two. It follows the same timeline as Tempted as while Ben and Gibson are off finding their mate they leave the Two Marks pack in the hands of Wade and Landry. Wade only has to get a hint of Caitlyn to know she belongs to him and his scent match Landry. The problem is that Caitlyn is a scientific researcher into wolf behaviours and her research threatens the pack as wolves are being traced and killed. Wade and Landry have to balance the needs of their mate with the safety of the pack.
These three are all chemistry and Wade and Landry are domineering and possessive as all good shifter mates should be. This book has an epic mating mark scene. I loved mating scenes with one shifter, but two is something else. Not only is it double the passion but double the threat of moon madness. I loved the ups and downs of this story. It very much follows the meet, threat, mating pattern of Wolf Ranch. But that is exactly what I am here to read and Renee and Vanessa delivered in every which way.

Having devoured the Wolf Ranch series from Vanessa Vale and Renee Rose, I was so excited to see that they were giving us more sexy shifters. And this time, it wasn't just one in a book but TWO! Because here the Two Marks pack is double the pleasure with two shifter cowboys for every one female.
I loved how dedicated, and passionate Caitlyn was to her career as a wolf biologist. And how Landry and Wade ultimately respected Caitlyn and her research, even when it conflicted with the best interests of their pack. You could feel not just the chemistry between them but also the love and respect.
Tempted is a fun, sexy quick read. It has a great mix of story, intrigue, world-building, and passion. I can't wait for more books in this series. I am here for all the shifter loving!

I like that these 2 authors decided to do a spin off, but with a pack that has 2 wolves who smell the same and mark their mate together. And I like that it is supposed to be unique to that particular pack. I also like that it doesn't matter who is the father of a child they just see both as their dad.
I also thought it was interesting that Wade took second to Landry. He had no problem acting like Landry and Caitlin were a couple in the human world because he knew they both were important to her as mate's. Tho Caitlin never seemed to pick one over the other which I also liked. I loved how she was always obsessed with wolves and just wanted the best for them. She was a great character to me. She accepted her mate's right from the start. Tho they were not so quick to believe in her at first, they did at least figure out they were wrong to think that way. And I love how these two authors bring their stories together in the end. They just can make a great story come to life!

When Renee Rose and Vanessa Vale team up to write a series, you know you're in for an awesome story. I love Caitlyn, Landry and Wade. The book was so good I couldn't put it down. Loved the connection between them, even if this wasn't something the guys were used to. And Caitlyn was great! Hopefully, we'll see more of these 3 in future books!

This was just ok for me.
I wanted more connection and I felt that Wade and Landry were almost interchangeable. Sometimes, I didn't even know which one of them was talking.
I had a hard time believing Caitlyn's science work. Finishing up a paper in a few days in not very credible.

Caitlyn was a PhD who was teaching a class to pay expenses while she was tagging and monitoring wolves that were reintroduced to Wyoming through a grant. She requested permission to search for a pack on Gibson West's land, but was told "No"...but her grant needed a few more specimen's so she decided she may have to trespass...Gibson was busy in Montana, with he and his scent match, Ben, finding their mate, Shelby. It was going to be at least a couple more weeks, so he left his younger brother Landry in charge of the pack, with Wade being tasked as the enforcer and as such, to look into Caitlyn and her paper on wolves, that could possibly change their status from endangered,...several area ranchers already were saying wolves going after cattle...but what happens when Wade meets Caitlyn and realizes she is their mate, along with his scent match. Landry...they wait for her to trespass, but then you will need to read this spicy story to see what happens and if she can study two wolf shifters...I voluntarily read this book through an Advanced Reader Copy.

When Wade is instructed by his Alpha to check up on Caitlyn a wolf biologist it sets in motion an unexpected and life-changing event. For not only is she a potential threat to the lives of the wolf shifters but she is the fated mate of both him and his pairing Landry. Torn between their desire to protect the pack's secret and support Caitlyn in her desire to continue her research and study the grey wolf in the area tests this newfound relationship. Caitlyn clearly loves her work but when her studies bring drama and hurt to their door this threesome will be tested to find a compromise that they can all live with if they are to survive.
Their story is packed full of action and I very much enjoyed reading this second book in the series.
Looking forward to reading more from the series, particularly hoping for the gorgeous Cord's story :-)

This book was very enjoyable. I loved the sparks and chemistry that lit up this book. The story kept
me engaged with its well crafted combination of heat, heart, drama, emotion and action. I liked Wade, Caitlyn and Landry. This PNR was a lot of fun, gave me some good feels and had my temperature on the rise. I'm really looking forward to the next book!! Also, if you are curious about Ben, Shelby and Gibson's story be sure to grab Untamed (It's FREE). This is my independent, impartial review.

So Good. We get a little more story compared to Untamed. And meet a few more pack members. Hmmm... maybe the next book is theirs? And the spice is spicy, especially the scene when they finally claim/mark her.
Dr. Caitlyn Shriver's work is studying wolves. And now, she's trespassing on Gibson West's land in order to tag wolves that are often on his land. What she doesn't expect while there is to run into her hot one-night stand Wade and his friend Landry West.
Landry and Wade are pack mates and they have no doubt that Caitlyn is theirs. They want nothing more than to claim her but they have a few things to deal with first.

Wow what a great read. Caitlyn, Wade and Landry’s story starts off with a bang and just keeps going. The two “wolves” know exactly what they want, but trying to convince Caitlyn of what’s really happening is not an easy task. How they work it out and get their HEA is well worth the read!

FATE SENT US A CURVE-BALL
As a fan of the writing duo of Renee Rose and Vanessa Vale in their Wolf Ranch series, I was excited to see a new series, Two Marks. Once again, these two talented ladies delivered a fantastic story, but one with a nice twist, two shifters who together claim one she-wolf.
“We carried the same scent gene, meaning we claimed one female together, just like all males in our lineage, our pack.”
The story’s plot has two male wolves, a human mate who is a wolf biologist. While Gibson and Ben are off claiming Shelby, their fated mate—Landry is acting Alpha and Wade acting enforcer. They never expected Wade to go to Granger and find her, Caitlyn—the one they have been waiting for—and she is human. Wade will meet her at the local bar with the intent to learn more of her wolf research, but scenting her takes precedents. When she tells him about her research and her plan—to try and trespass on Two Marks pack land, it will have Wade and Landry ready to meet her—punish her and take her back to Wade’s home.

I loved the chemistry between these three; there is no doubt that they feel it. Getting Caitlyn to trust and accept won’t be easy, but anything worth having is worth proving it is the right decision. Even after accepting them—are they willing to accept and trust her? As a fan of the writing duo of Renee Rose and Vanessa Vale in their Wolf Ranch series, I was excited to see a new series, Two Marks. Once again, these two talented ladies delivered a fantastic story, but one with a nice twist, two shifters who together claim one she-wolf.

The story’s plot has two male wolves, a human mate who is a wolf biologist. While Gibson and Ben are off claiming Shelby, their fated mate—Landry is acting Alpha and Wade acting enforcer. They never expected Wade to go to Granger and find her, Caitlyn—the one they have been waiting for—and she is human. Wade will meet her at the local bar with the intent to learn more of her wolf research, but scenting her takes precedents. When she tells him about her research and her plan—to try and trespass on Two Marks pack land, it will have Wade and Landry ready to meet her—punish her and take her back to Wade’s home.

Caitlyn had to search Google about the "Eiffel Tower" thing... and apparently I had to do the same... Anyway, Tempted was way better than Untamed and I'm happy about it. A little predictable and quite classic when it comes to the story-line. Enjoyable to read.

Honestly, this had the potential to be really, really good. Unfortunately it lacked a bit of common sense.
You can't convince me no one realized the big plottwist before Caitlyn found out. Like, really?
I did love the pack dynamics. I hope we'll see more of that in the next few books. The concept of male scent matches and one true mate is a great twist on the whole shifter thing.

This was just what I needed until it wasn't. I was looking for a quick, insta-love, hot smut, wham bam done type of book - and Tempted was hitting the mark perfectly and if I had finished it I would have given it a higher rating (all my DNF get 1 star)
Until about 60% I was enjoying the ride, but I just grew tired of the heroes trying to get the heroine to give up her research - it just felt weak. There was no real in depth discussion as to why they wanted her to give up years of research - just to protect the wolves. Yet her research was all about protecting the wolves.
The storyline needed more fleshing out as it just came across as 2 men trying to make a woman conform to their way and give everything up she had worked her life for - and for what, what was she getting in return, a couple of dicks. No penis is worth giving everything up

What is a girl to do when she stumbles onto land she knows she isn't supposed to be on? Well she gets lucky of course!! Tempted is about Landry, Wade, & Caitlyn. We get 2 hot alpha wolves who will do anything for their fated mate, and we get 1 heroin who will do do anything for her research.
Their story is fast paced and has a huge curve ball thrown into it. You will have questions. You will see 2 hot shifters fall in love with someone who could be their demise or their salvation. I will end my review right here so you can all go and grab a copy of tempted for yourselves!

Tempted by Vanessa Vale & Renee Rose is book One in the Two Marks Series. This is the story of Caitlyn, Landry and Wade. Caitlyn teaches and study wolves. Caitlyn has always been drawn to wolves so its a natural step for her to study them on the West's property Wyoming. Landry and Wade are the acting wolf alpha's but when they see Caitlyn they start to realize that she is their mates.

Okey, I'm woman enough to admit I chose this for the smut. Well. Shame on me. Neither the smut or the story was worth the time or money. Have a lot more to say but don't want to waste any more time on this book. 1,5 star. Don't recommend.

This is the first in a new series about wolf shifters. The catch being that the male wolves mate in pairs. The premise gives us the irony of a wolf biologist ending up being the true mate to a scent matched pair of shifters. Wade and Landry have known they would share a mate. The surprise comes when they originally are sent to Caitlyn to shut down her study only to find out she is their mate.
There is a lot of back and forth between the men as to how much info they should share and how soon. Caitlyn is drawn to them but isn't sure why. They three of them together are super HAWT! The secondary story line of what is happening with Caitlyn's research doesn't necessarily add to the story. I felt most of the book was about the mates trying to be together.
There was a twist and the storyline does resolve, but I didn't feel as invested in the whys and wheres of tagging wolves as I was in the true mate saga.
That said, I will read the next book. I can't wait to see all these men get their HEA. I also hope Caitlyn gets to do more research on why there needs to be 2 mates for this wolf pack.

I felt like I was on the edge of my seat reading this book! Caitlyn, Wade, and Landry made an amazing and steamy triad, but there sure was a lot of secrets and misunderstandings and I didn’t know if I wanted to hate the males for all of their scheming, or love them because they were trying their best to still support and love and protect their mate. Caitlyn is a bit of a loner, has dedicated her life to her study of wolves, and I loved how she really stuck to her morals about what she was doing. Her compassion and her love really shined through her actions. Wade and Landry had a lot on their plate, honestly, one attempting to be an enforcer when that’s not his forte at all, and the other trying to be acting alpha for his pack the best way he can be. Add in a mate that seems to be a danger to their pack, and man, their instincts were all over the place. Possessive, growly, protective, and extremely passionate! Ultimately, I loved them and the ways they loved Caitlyn. I liked this book! I’m loving this series! I can’t wait for more!

il romanzo mi è piaciuto molto anche se ammetto che a volte è stato un pò prolisso con scene "morte". Ciò che mi è piaciuto, e che in genere amo di Vanessa Vale, è inserire una trama coerente e non si limita a scrivere romanzi sui menagè. In questo romanzo vediamo come Caitlyn ama i lupi e vorrebbe monitorarli per una ricerca universitaria anche se sicuramente non si aspettava che i suoi amanti fossero essi stessi dei lupi 😅. Il lato fantasy questa volta c'è di più ma si parla perlopiù di branco, rivendicazioni e il proteggere la loro specie di conseguenza non mi ha disturbato. Landry è il fratello di Gibson e deve sostituirlo come Alfa per questo alcune sue decisioni saranno difficili da prendere perché da una parte c'è la sua famiglia (il branco) e dall'altro la sua compagna per la vita. Wade soffre ancora per la morte dei suoi genitori ma in qualche modo saranno vendicati anche loro...
