This is an enjoyable summer read with five novellas from five different authors in a very nice collection. Each story was different and I liked all the contemporary style romances. Being as there are 5 novellas, there is lots of reading here and the compilation was of a longer length, which was very nice.
I wasn't familiar with all the authors, so I liked seeing the different writing styles. I really enjoyed Marilyn Turk's story as Courtney searches to find her way through a rough patch and finds a childhood friend who might be just what she needs, or maybe not?
If you want an enjoyable read for the summer, this book is a great choice.

Since I live in the desert with summer temperatures soaring, I’m definitely ready for a virtual visit to the beach. I found just the respite I needed in a collection of five beachside romances.
With anticipation, I read the The Cottage on Seagull Lane by Patti Jo Moore first, since I know she is a author who puts just the right amount of detail in her stories to make the setting come alive. I found reading this love story of a mid-life couple quite satisfying. When Mindi Kirkland moves to the small community of Ocean Mist, she meets landscaper Tim Garrett. Both have lost a spouse under difficult circumstances and are adjusting to new life situations. With a refreshing seashore setting, I enjoyed this faith-filled story as the two of them moved cautiously toward a sweet romance. And I could imagine indulging in a tasty cinnamon roll at Mindi’s kitchen table. Ahh…a perfect vacation escape to a seaside cottage!
Novella collections are always a great way to sample the styles of various writers. The beach and family themes of this romance set offers fun summertime reading! Quite enjoyable!

A nice collection of 5 beach stories, each by a different author, set on a different beach. Each had a sweet romance, with a diverse range of characters, both human and animal. I liked them all.
