This book is very poorly edited with many typos and spacing issues. It's a shame because it's an important story, but the poor presentation on the pages makes it look like the editors did not care and that the writer is uneducated. With some better editing the story would flow better and garner more respect.
Good book. Was a required reading for the Foursquare licensing process, but I actually enjoyed reading it despite a handful of slower moments. Overall, the life of Aimee Semple McPherson was eventful and the book reflected that.
The book depicts Aimee’s life from her eyes and shows what she all went through. This book is very well written and has you wanting to read it in one sitting. To learn about her life growing up and onwards is just a great view to learn from and to help you on your path as well!
I read this as part of my licensing process for the foursquare so for the historical context on the origins of the denomination it was nice. Very easy read. She has some crazy stories.
