Nice one guys

Another winner has just been added to the Blake Brier list. The characters are starting to feel like old friends, and that says a lot about the discriptive power of the writers. Excellent.

There are a couple of missing details in this book.

1) How the father of the kid finds out where Ima lives? then that she has a kid? then how to abduct the kid? And all of this without the CIA finding about it first?
2) How they managed to fly the kid from UEA to West Virginia? It is not like the fit in in EUA.
3) Who finance all of this?
4) How they manage to steal the painting and get it to West Virginia while the painting was there the night she was arrested.
5) and all of this in a couple of days?
6) what was the plan if she managed to steal the painting since it was all about trying to get her arrested. Why not just give her apartment location away?

Control. L.T. Ryan. Gregory Scott

Blake and his team of elite operators are faced with two major problems. One of the team members is imprisoned in Switzerland. A set-up . An extremely powerful mega millionaire a psychopath no longer needed her services. Another non team member is also forced to steal a very famous painting from a museum. She's a computer hacker. A legend. They have kidnapped her son for leverage. What ensues is extremely well written action packed thriller. And the end result I won't divulge!!! An excellent read!!! Enjoyed immensely!!

Brier does it again

If you like a fast based thriller, then this book is for you. No matter what country he's in, Blake Briar always comes up with a plan to help the team. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a good crime drama. But it helps to understand it better if you read the first four books in this series.

Not a complex book, but still a fun, enjoyable read. I've been waiting for the audible book for almost a year, so I had forgotten a lot of the characters and the history from the first 4 books. It took me awhile to remember the characteristics of the different players, but the author did a good job of refreshing my memory throughout the book. As the story progressed, I realized how much I like Blake and the team he is pulling together. I think Ima and her son Ian are going to be interesting characters in future books, too. I just hope I don't have to wait as long for books 6, 7, and 8 to be released as an audiobook. This is a fun series and I hate it when there is a long delay in the release of the audiobook.

Overall, if you liked the first four books in this series, you should like this one.

Exciting and fun

This book continues from where book four left off, with Haeli in jail in Switzerland and the team working to get her out. A new complication arises when a hacker who has been wanted by the US government for ten years is caught up in a conspiracy and her son is an innocent caught in the crosshairs. Blake and the team now have three people to save.

The team’s planning and the action sequences are riveting and the climactic moment is exciting. This book sets up the future for the team nicely though I wish there had been information on the fallout from the crisis point. I’m also wondering if Levi will really cease to be a problem for Haeli.

Looking forward to the next book and the next chapter in this series.

Contrail

Haeli is in pretrial prison in Switzerland for the bank bombing and through a convoluted path Ima Thorne, A notorious hacker ends up as her cell mate. The gang represented by Fezz makes a deal with the CIA to have Haeli and Ima released in the custody of the USA. The CIA intend to own them but Blake has a plan. The gang actually commandeer the plane, everyone parachutes off, ditch the plane after calling a Mayday and Blake picks them up in a boat. Construction is ready to begin on the land bought in Newport, Rhode Island and from there they plan to save the innocent. Great author, great series.

They did WHAT?

OK, the story moves along at a great pace, even for this 63 year old dyslexic. I’m all in on the ruse to get Haeli and Ima out of prison, but got a little concerned with the choice of transport vehicles to get them make to the US, not to mention and General as part of the flight team. I have to admit I DID NOT SEE the choice of landing sites coming, but it made perfect sense.

I read to be entertained and keep my mind working. L.T. Ryan and Gregory Scott keep me covered with each book. Thank you from this old man! Peace!

The Team Wins

After two women are imprisoned in Switzerland, Blake and his team set a plan in motion to get them out. One of the women, Haeili, is part of his team, but is also an experiment in DNA manipulatio. The other woman has been forced into using her extensive computer knowledge to steal a Cezzane work of art to save her son from kidnappers. Good read, with some interesting twists. ENJOY!

Entertaining

If you want to go into the business of helping people in dire situations and have the skills of frogmen the next thing is funding. How about stolen diamonds? Diamonds stolen from a very bad man? Fair game, right? But you might have to kill him first. But get caught setting off a bomb. And if you do make friends with a wanted hacker.

As much as I didn't like the previous book this was awesome to the core. I loved this to the max, but still it seems somewhat not complete like there are some more strings to be attached to become a full circle. And hope Levi Farr's arc will do that. Awaiting to see the aftermath this events created. Pretty good book.

Freedom at Last

Really enjoyed all the plot twists in this one. Blake and Hailie along with Ima and her son Ian. When a wanted felon’s son gets kidnapped Ima will do everything possible to get him back, even stealing a masterpiece of art. Great teamwork is necessary if everything is going to work out

Contrail

As I was reading the book, I kept wondering, what was there in the story leading to the name of the book, Contrail. I really enjoy this series. Each book has its own unique story and yet is tied to each other. The one thing I really liked about this book was the feel good feelings it gave you at the end. Definitely looking forward to the next book.

Seeing the stage

Couldn't wait for this one to get here and it's not a disappointment. Great read! This book is a little slower than the others, but it is setting up the next segment of the series. Blake and Rachel are my two favorite series of Ryan's.

Fun but schmatzy

Liked the characters especially the kid but it dragged on andon. L T Ryan has a formula but that's getting tired. Stewart Woods did this years ago and got rich! L T Ryan will get richer...
