Lou and Ryan meet at a wedding but let's just say their first conversation didn't go over well. And the return flight? A complete nightmare where neither of the 2 stopped arguing. As icing on the cake, their best friends are a couple, so both coincide more than they would initially like.
But it is said that from love to hate there is a step and this couple crosses it. When they stop arguing and talk about their lives and their families, they begin to realize that their opinion of the other was somewhat wrong and they end up falling in love.
There are many emotional moments in this story that will hook you.
Highly recommended and fun.

This was a really good story. I couldn't put it down. I got sucked into it from the first paragraph. 5 stars. A definite must read.

Mmm no, gracias.
Aburrido con A mayúscula, no lo lean.
Es un libro sin sentido, pasa todo demasiado rápido y hay un instalove que me parece horrible.
Supuestamente se odian, como es que en dos capítulos están enamorados? Se van a mudar juntos, son el amor de la vida del otro, para un segundo.
Lo único que más o menos me gusto, es que habla del abuso doméstico y es algo que no se ve en muchos libros, pero nada más. Igual, con toda la historia que ella tuvo con su ex abusivo, se toma muy a la ligera que un chabon (que no conoce) le mande mensajes y le diga como está vestida y donde estaba. Eso tiene cero lógica.
Háganse un favor, no lean este libro.

Desde que un imbécil desconocido (para ella) le envía mensajes asquerosos acosandola y ella feliz porque alguien le da bola dije "este libro es una porquería" y así fue! Encima ese desconocido es el protagonista que le quiere hacer "una broma" O SEA ASCO
No me entra en la cabeza que un tipo que ella no conoce (aclaro que los protagonistas se conocen pero él le envía mensajes desde un número desconocido así que ella no sabe) la describe exactamente como esta vestida en un mensaje dando a entender que la está viendo en ese momento, le comenta cosas repugnante y ella no hace nada más que ponerse feliz y curiosa ??? Eso NO es jodidamente sexy y estoy recalcando esos primeros capítulos porque desde ese momento todo es cuesta abajo con ambos protagonistas

The book is a good, and enjoyable romantic comedy read. The story has a good story line. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry. The story covers some trigger topics in the book but did not make it feel heavy. Lou has wit, sass, but also has sensitivity, and loyalty. The story was a very entertaining funny romance read.

This book by Becca Baldwin is the enemies to lovers romantic comedy between Ryan, a womanizer and professional ball player, and Louelle/Lou, the woman who resists his advances even though he falls for her. The characters are realistic and amazing. The storyline has witty banter, plot twists, humor, and steamy attraction. I highly recommend this enjoyable romance.

loved it !!! love Lou and Ryan... this is their story.. a fast paced rom/com... the first time I saw you... it was love at first sight... but I buried it... because you turned me down... now , I hate you... you irritate me...hating you... loving you... the banter... the chemistry... the love ? so much fun...

I loved Lou's witt and sass but also her sensitivity and loyalty. Considering some of the trigger topics covered the book didn't feel heavy. I liked the fact it took time to go from insta-hate to love.

AMAZING! A fantastic, beautifully written read. An intense storyline that holds your attention as you get caught up in the fierce twists and hot chemistry. Plenty of excitement and emotionally heartfelt. A thrilling must read.

short banter then fizzled
This started out decent with banter then fizzled fast. The brother with a crush never addressed. The disappearance totally out of line for the character. The texts from a random number never addressed. Just a meh story.

This books proves my feeling on first impressions. They are NOT always right! In really talking to each they find they have more in common. Their best friends are a couple. Many tears shed in this book and reality sinks in.

I rate this book 4.5 stars.
This was a very entertaining romance though I have to admit that as was confused at some parts. Lou and Ryan were so funny together that I couldn’t help shaking my head at some of their conversations/antics! I love how we see Ryan and Lou’s true personalities shine through and how they really were not how they were first perceived to be. Ryan and Lou have great chemistry together and I thought they were so good for each other. To be honest, I didn’t understand why Lou did what she did as that was a bit convoluted but love that they both reached their HEA.
