Pros:
Visiting with Lumi and Corbin is great and I love that the authors are still working together to develop the world. Having an issue pop up with the pixies who needed to be at the solstice was unique and fun.
Cons:
It’s not bad for most, I it’s wish it had a little more character growth but that comes from reading heavier fantasy. This is what a cozy mystery is meant to be.

Book 7. This is about Lumi and Corbin her boyfriend that was a prince. from book 2. Corbin was a Prince son to Jack Frost and Jack was the son of Jack too. Jack Jr. Was the King because their father wad passing. A real estaste agent Percy was pestering Punk parents to sell their property. But they were not going to do it. The pixels that work for Lumi parents started acting really nuts They never acted that way. mean and aggresive. There were some very small candy canes that they were eating. So Lumi had a feeling something was in them like poison. She took one pixie Astrid to Doc to see if he can help. He told Lumi and Corbin something was in them stark green substance. So Lumi and Corbin went to Percy office to try to find out about the candycanes. He said he did give them the candy canes but did not do anything to them. Piano a fairy assistant asked Lumi if the pixels were not going to be in The Solstice Event. Lumi told her that they were under weather. So she thought Pie had something to do with it. Because now the fairies were going together ones in the event. At Percy request Pie gave Lumi Hallie shop Confectioners address that had gave the small peppermint to the pixies. When Lumi and Prince Corbin went there Halley told them that she had a very cheap owl messenger send them. Well the owl said he did try to give them to them but it was a spooky place so he threw them down and flew off. Lumi asked the owl that can't be right and to show her where. So he did. And Lumi and Prince Corbin did not know where they were. They found a witch named Opal and she was weary of them. But when Lumi explained she took Lumi and Corbin mire in the forest and found Sprites. They were the ones that did magic because the Pixies said they were ugly and will not be in the Solstice dance cause of it. Well Opal the witch app olives ed to Lumi and said she gave them some potions but she did not know they would use it for that. So she gave Lumi a potion to get them back to normal. These books and series I Love. There are always cool charachters. Like Santa, reindeer Jack Frost witches elves dwarfs fairies. If you like something fantasy you love these books

Lumi and Corbin have a new mystery to solve when the frost pixies at the reindeer sanctuary seem to have gone rogue. It's a twisted mystery with a surprising ending. Jack Frost adds some delightful humor to the story as he is still continuing his "bad boy" ways only slightly toned down. A cute short story.

weirdly, it felt like the author forgot the world and/or character building from book 1 (i.e. why did people suddenly recognize corbin all over when he went undercover practically the whole book 1 lol)

All of the books in this series make for quick, Christmas magical mystery fun. There hasn't been one book I haven't enjoyed so far.

Peppermint Pixies continues the story of Lumi Northrop and Prince Corbin Frost that started in Reindeer Runes. This is part of the Winter Witches of Holiday Haven series.
The story starts six months after the ending in the previous book. Lumi is still trying to adjust to being in the public eye since she’s dating the handsome Prince Corbin. They’ve been preparing for the Summer Solstice Festival when all of a sudden the pixies that live in the woods near the Reindeer Sanctuary have gotten way out of hand. Usually the pixies are gentle creatures that help out at the sanctuary, but they are uncontrollable. Lumi and Corbin capture one and take it to Santa’s vet to see if he knows what is wrong with the pixies. After running some tests, they discover the pixies have ingested some type of poison. The story continues with Lumi and Prince Corbin trying to solve the mystery.
This was another great holiday read. I’m definitely enjoying Lumi’s and Prince Corbin’s story. And Corbin’s brother Jack Frost continues with his antics in this story too. I think with the story taking place around the North Pole it makes it such a fun book and series to read. There are 15 books to this series but they include stories from other authors too. I will be continuing the next book in Lumi and Prince Corbin’s story. And I’ll probably check out the other books too. These are short cozy reads perfect for the holiday week. I definitely recommend.

Potential pixie pickle
As Percy a New York real estate magnate tries underhand tricks and heavy pressure to buy up property all over Holiday Haven problems arise on the Northrop Reindeer Sanctuary as the pixies go full gremlin!
Corbin steps in to send the realtor packing but the man has skin so thick he can't take a full on refusal for what it is. But Lumi and her parents have more than enough to deal with on the sanctuary as Astrid and the rest of the pixies have been causing more than just their usual mischief. They are fighting each other, stealing shopping and attacking everyone with reindeer poop!! With the solstice celebration coming up the pixies are supposed to be dancing for the audience but at this rate it'll be more like a fight club than dance demonstration and the fairies will be asked to step in.
Can Lumi and Corbin find out what happened to the pixies in time for the solstice celebration and stop Percy from pestering her parents over his plans to build condos on the sanctuary lands?

The second in the Danielle Garrett portion of the Winter in Witches of Holiday Haven series and the seventh overall in the series by five authors. I liked how some of the characters from Cheery Charms by Bella Falls, the previous in the series, are mentioned.
This story centers on the pixies that work at the Northrop Reindeer Sanctuary. It appears the pixies have been poisoned. Corbin and Lumi capture a pixie to take to the doctor at the North Pole to see what is wrong with the pixies. Dr. Patch determines they have been poisoned. How, who, and can it be fixed is their quest.
I enjoyed this story immensely. Corbin, Lumi and the other character interactions where wonderful.
I am definitely placing all five of these authors and this entire series on my must be read list.
I love the town of Holiday Haven and the separate series showcasing it and their unique characters. Pick up this series and you give yourself a treat from five different perspectives.

This is a holiday themed paranormal cozy mystery series. A group of authors each wrote one book in the series and one set of characters in each book. They are all based in Holiday Haven or the North Pole. Holiday haven is a small town near the north pole where Santa and Mrs. clause in the owls live as well as many other supernaturals in the neighboring towns. A great group of characters with a unique and entertaining storyline. This particular book is about a witch and her family that run the reindeer sanctuary. Her boyfriend happens to be a prince with the frost family. Each story has a different situation going on but the different characters from all the books occasionally interact in the different books as they were all in the same world and basically the same time frame. Read on and enjoy the story and read the other ones as well. Entertaining with a holiday twist.

Fun story, great characters, wonderful world.

This book was a nice read. I liked the fact that it followed Cheery Charm with the summer solstice and with the villain Pandora. I liked the fact this book was more about pixies and the animals not just love. It's was great to see that even thought frost pixies are cute, they can in their own way be prejudged against different types of pixies.

Corbin and Lulu continue getting better acquainted and are faced with saving Holiday Haven from frost pixies acting completely out of character causing destructive mischief. Pixies gone wild
We see our favorite reindeer guardian with a prince dealing with pixies. I love this story as the author follows what people call the social norms then takes us in another direction. A great lesson for the kids to not judge a book by its cover. I would love to see more of opal and both meet Holly or Harmony.

Fun, quick read!
This book was a lot of fun to read! I love the world these authors have created! The characters are fun to revisit! The story moved along quickly too and was all wrapped up by the end.

Problematic pixies
Another enjoyable outing with Lumi and Corbin as they try to find out why the pixies are playing up. Add in bad boy Jack, and a bit of humour and this was a really fun book.

I like these reindeer sanctuary ones a lot. Poor Frost boys, gotta figure out what they want and quick it seems so they can figure things out. And that was a nice twist for the villain for who messed with the pixies; i thought for sure it was the land developer/realtor guy.

3.5⭐️ Continuing the story of Lumi the Reindeer Farmer and Jack Frost’s brother Corbin 6 months after the first book. Super cute series. This time the forest pixies are acting rabid and insane. I think Danielle Garrett has become my favorite cozy book author.
