Never make a deal with a devil.

Steve had experience when it came to waking up with hangovers. Being attacked by kobolds? Not so much. After rousing in the middle of a monster-filled forest, he was sure his life was over. That was until he was saved by a fire-wielding angel who was anything but human. Now Steve finds himself a temporary guest on a small run-down farm filled with monster girls who need his help.

None more so than the canine beauty responsible for saving his skin.

In a month, her freedom is forfeit, unless she can somehow turn her failing farm around. It’s a challenge Steve is all too happy to accept, especially if it means getting to test out his strange new powers and mingle with the stunning monster girl livestock who can’t seem to take their eyes off him.

This farm needs a hero, and Steve will be damned if he doesn’t take up the role. He’s no longer just an ordinary IT manager; he’s now the savior these gorgeous women need.

Warning: Harem Farm contains smoking hot monster girls, scenes that are more than just raunchy, and some lovely, bloody violence. Don’t say you weren’t told!

NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!!!!

I've read through the current 3 books in this story, and the quality doesn't change, unfortunately. The story is pretty average in this genre, or rather bellow average, you get your standard set of harem tropes, the girls around MC are mostly just two-dimensional characters set to fill in diferrent kind of kinks, but nothing more. The worst of this book isthe Mary Sue dumb as a brick MC that could be replaced with walking dildo. His brain faculties are close to zero, he's repeating same mistakes, making same excuses like I forgot to RTFM, I forgot to ask, I didn't know, I didn't have time, etc., every internal issue is solved by harem members themselves, because MC is in all cases flabbergasted, stunned, thoughts jumbled, and whatever other shitty excuses you can come up with, and this state is like several pages where everyone else is trying to solve the stuff while MC's internal monolgue states(e.g.) "l was so flabbergasted that I couldn't say anything", again, again, and again. And this doesn't change throughout all 3 books.

I wish I haven't spent so much time with this garbage, but there were few harem characters, like bratty and egoistical harpy, that kept me reading and hoping that their MC will get better and they get what they deserved, but this wish didn't come true.

Other stuff like world building, magic system, system, is nonexistent. There is world, but nothing told about it. There is magic, but not relly explained. There is some kind of system, which is more like quest giver rather than anything else, so can be said as non-existent.

So you want to be a farmer..

Who would think a night of drinking would lead to a place where demon beasts were common. Well Steve sure did not expect it to happen. Now s the story of a man becoming a farmer and a lover of Dr!on beast women. Delve deep because we all know that Steve will. Great read hope there will be a sequel or sequels as it may be.

Nice. mediocre. Formulaic. irritating 2 & half stars
This is a transported to another world story that goes full Isekai anime. There are smutty sex scenes. some very light RPG elements that don't really work.
This book has many things to like it, but when you add in all the bad points, it's not great.
The MC is a well-meaning idiot. the plot is strait forward. the over all tone is upbeat. There is no rape. murder, or graphic violence against the innocent. and the sex scenes are sort of hot when the characters finally shut up and get down to it.
This book is about as basic as you can get. It's a stripped down, bare bones story about a guy from earth who hooks up with the first beast girl he meets and helps her save the farm. That this book is written at a 5th or 6th grade level doesn't complement the pornographic content.
-The MC absolutely WILL NOT SHUT UP. Of course if he did this book would be half it's size. When one of the female characters asks the MC to kiss her, He talks about how good that kiss is going to be for pages and pages. He talks about how sexy she is and how much he wants to kiss her, all wile not kissing her. This is through out the book. the hero monologues about his lust and the physical attributes of the female characters and here is the other big problem.
The MC is endlessly "complementing" the female characters in a cringey way that isn't the slightest bit sexy. Imagine Ash from EvilDead trying to do dirty talk in a bad porno wile comparing himself to "all guys"- about that sexy.
I liked Fractured World by David Aries, so I thought I'd check this out. It has it's heart in the right place but the execution is disappointing.

It is well worth the time

I am very happy this book deals with many interesting charters and I like the action between the charters.I found the story very string and some more history or back ground would be helpful but did not hinder th story for me.I thank you for your hard work .it was a strong story even if the relationship between all was not so explosive. But going forward I will look forward to more stories in whatever style you wish. Please be well and keep the farm expand explosions and all

Neat story

Ok same type of story gets stuck in another world. Hot girls need his help and humans suck. The powers that he has are original and quite interesting. Be sweet if he can teach others.

Eh, not bad.

So, The MC feels like the one in Fractured World. That's not... horrible in itself. But then there's... I dunno he acts so responsible, until all of a sudden he thinks with the battle bridge and drops the ball.

Like kind of spoilers here so don't read on of your worried about that.

Like... why would you let your guard down when you're at the goal line before you've scored? So definitely have to mark off on that, especially when it's telegraphed so blatantly.

You can see it coming a mile away, it feels like "Oh that resolution was too quick so we need to make the protagonists dumb for plot." I call that nonsense out in movies when I see it, I have to call it out here I'm sorry.

I don't mind the slow burn, I'll take plot over random smut so the author is still fine there. The smut is decent as well, not top tier but solid.

The demi human stigma is a little stale for me after the Shalia series has had that its main crux for quite awhile now and I feel does it a little better, more impactful. But if you haven't read that maybe that wouldn't bother you then.

Just... His other series I read took a bit because of things that rubbed me wrong, but ultimately the characters won me over. This one I'm having trouble feeling it. Some of that can be just attributed to taste so I'm not marking it more severely, still a solid writer in a genre with way more low hanging fruit. Not the best but maybe worth a KU slot to try.

Overall good book. Steve is quite retard for basically signing himself as slave, or would be but he's mc so obviously he's gonna make it. And produce being stolen while quite obvious, is kind of cheap and way too convenient. Its was totally obvious devil wanted them to fail, so they should have guarded the produce. I literally just rolled my eyes when it happened.
I mean you would think they would do it anyways, it's literally Lulu's freedom out there unguarded in shed :D And no matter how author tries to make Marietta look good, she's one evil bitch. She's willing to have her friend become a slave. Marietta even had hidden sword, but when everyone was defending the farm she wasn't even willing to contribute that.

Mc also straight up ignored Fern giving away how they were going to win the bet and brushed off the plain threat like nothing. Overall, everything just makes mc seems like complete idiot. Also, how in the hell did the enemies just take all their produce under their noses? Milk, radishes and eggs weight quite a bit. They would have had also need to bust trough all barricades? Why did they not fortify their storage? Everything is just basic stuff.

That said, after coming back to this genre after while, I should have expected that mc is brainless and is just going to "wing" everything and it will work. Book basically reflects how much effort was put into the story, which is not much. In my opinion this story deserved to be cautionary tale about being an idiot.

Its slow and boring

The ha rem farm is hard to get into ....the guy here drunk fines himself in a world with beastbkin, a dog ladybsaves him and he fines himself on a farm. With a good looking dog lady a nut case knife lady and a worn out cow lady and a pissed off sheep gal that has less.than a decent personality, no one on the dark works accept for the god lady and the story goes down hill from there. There is nothing that is even close to being related to even the beginning of harm action and that action or even a small bit of sexual.action might inside some interest in reading further .as it is quite reading . as hat is real y bad the lulu the dog lady too out. Loan to try to save her cars farm and !then Author right off the bat has written the story so that all others could care less about helping her to work to save the farm.one beast gorl.sleeps.or here drunk ,the sheep girl status in her room and the harpy bird girl do nothing but eat sleep.and crap. The hero up to this point was hurt so he has sheen healing .he knows nothing about farming ,or really nothing about surfing in this knew world and he got hurt be cause he knows nothing g about fighting . so in this iBook most everyone is lazy , their not farmers but only lulu ,no one knows how.to fight but lulu and Kim read harem stories that hopefully have a realistic plot and this one time goes t interesting and any storie has to have some kind of plot and beginning to grab my interest especially when a harem plot is involved . you got the picture and the words Harem farm but nothing but nothing but infighting and lulu that has signed a contract that she cannot fill and a human that you have not shown or given us any idea of any smarts or talent that will be able.to save lulu,s farm . you have also.written thebplotnsomthatball.save lulu feels.they can within their butts and do nothing ...especially the sheep girl.. So. The guy that could shear her wool.died and she refuses to help actjng li!e she all high and mighty but no one reading at this point has no idea who crapped in her sheep food . She is still aware that lulu will become a slave if she cannot find money to pay the farm off.
As far as fantasy goes this may be amongst the least popular amongst the many I have read in the last 25 years as far as a beginning . The Author I believe has written just a tad to much Dumas in all the characters to include the human ,the guy who.got drunk and is supposed to save the farm . The author also wrote that the human loves the way all the beast kin look as of she has sexual interest but the way its written does not present a happy harem situation or even the possibility of a harem . The bird girl with clawed get and wants to
Bed the human but the way its all written does.not get my interest . my suggestion if You bring a guy from earth into this world than give him some kinds of power or knowledge system to make it possible to even think about saving lulu and her farm and friends and Inwouldw.leave out the ability personality of the sheep girl Because if I was in his situation I would tell her sit down and shut the hell up or get out and don't come.back. The way the story is written the sheep beast kin girl is nothing but a pain in the ass ,doing nothing but being the cause and part of the problem with Everyone clueless about what to do

Introduction:
Greetings, fellow denizens of the vast universe. I am Kiba Snowpaw, the Alpha Ice Wolf from the frozen world of HowlStrom. As the winter season grips my homeland once every hundred years, I find solace in the tales of other worlds. Today, I shall share my thoughts on "Harem Farm" by David Aries, a tale that has warmed my icy heart.

Basic Plot Summary:
Steve, a man familiar with the throes of hangovers, finds himself in an unfamiliar forest, surrounded by monsters. His life takes a turn when he's saved by a fiery angel, a non-human entity. He soon becomes a guest on a dilapidated farm inhabited by enchanting monster girls. Among them is the canine beauty who saved him. With her freedom at stake, Steve must use his newfound powers to turn the farm's fate around. The farm's hero is no longer an ordinary IT manager; he's the beacon of hope these captivating women have been waiting for.

Analysis/Evaluation:
David Aries weaves a tale that combines elements of fantasy, romance, and the harem genre. The story, while rooted in familiar tropes, offers a fresh perspective on the challenges of adapting to a new world and the bonds formed in the process.

Characters:
Steve, the protagonist, undergoes a significant transformation. From an IT manager to the savior of a farm, his journey is both relatable and inspiring. The monster girls, each unique in their personalities and challenges, add depth to the narrative. Their interactions with Steve range from playful to intense, making for an engaging read.

Structure:
The story follows a linear progression, with each event building upon the previous. The pacing is well-balanced, ensuring that readers remain engaged from start to finish.

Impact:
"Harem Farm" challenges the norms of the fantasy genre. It delves into the complexities of relationships, self-discovery, and the age-old battle between good and evil. The story resonates with anyone who has faced adversity and emerged stronger.

Hook and Thesis:
The intriguing premise of a man waking up in a monster-filled world, combined with the allure of a harem of monster girls, serves as a compelling hook. The underlying thesis revolves around the power of unity, determination, and love.

Praise and Critique:
David Aries masterfully crafts a world that is both fantastical and relatable. The character development is commendable, with each individual showcasing growth. However, some may argue that certain tropes are overused, making parts of the story predictable.

Evaluation:
Overall, "Harem Farm" is a delightful read. It offers a perfect blend of fantasy, romance, and drama. While it treads on familiar ground, the unique spin ensures it stands out in the crowded genre.

Comparison:
Compared to other harem fantasy novels, "Harem Farm" offers a more grounded and character-driven narrative. It prioritizes emotional connections over superficial attractions, making it a refreshing read.

Conclusion:
In the icy realms of HowlStrom, tales like "Harem Farm" are a beacon of warmth. David Aries has crafted a tale that is both entertaining and thought-provoking. As the Alpha Ice Wolf, I recommend this book to anyone seeking a blend of fantasy, romance, and adventure. May your journey through its pages be as enchanting as a dance under the HowlStrom auroras.

It is amazing to me how books with the same story can be completely different. This is a standard isekai story were a man gets sent to another world with magic and other races. He has a thing for monster girls and is surrounded by them. He has magic and is surrounded by hot women. He is in heaven. That is a pretty standard story. If the story is pretty much the same why are some good and some so bad? I tried to read a book before this one that had the same premise and I had to stop because it did nothing for me but this one I really liked. I guess I liked this one because the author focused on one thing but had enough of the other parts of the story to keep it interesting. The focus in this book was the relationship of the MC with the monster girls. It was slow to progress. For a while I thought this was going to be a light novel. The MC kept talking about how hot all the women looked, how he loved their bodies and how they made him feel. They loved it but couldn't believe a human would look at them like that. Nothing happened though for at least 4 hours into the audiobook. When the floodgates opened though, they really opened. The sex scenes were very well written. There was some farming, and just enough magic to round out the story. The MC was a little annoying at times though. He was kind of the male Mary Sue. Not sure what the male version is called actually. He praised even the littlest thing the women did but downplayed anything that he did. He also made a couple of really stupid decisions but overall I thought this was a really good addition to the harem monster girl genre. Anyone interested in that specific genre I would recommend this book.

Steve wakes up the morning after the night before with a hell of a hangover and the definite feeling that he's not in Kansas anymore (it was England actually, but it was too good a line not to use it.)
In fact he's entered into a magical world, one in which he is possibly the only human. And then there is a drop down menu that only he can see - it appears that he is in some variant of an RPG. I've read a couple of these books and didn't like them - luckily, in 'Harem Farm' that end of things soon becomes background noise.
When you boil it down it is a story of one man and four women (even if they are also a cow, dog, sheep and a Harpy). Steve spends an inordinate amount of time trying to raise up their self-confidence - it soon becomes annoying. There is one exception - Marietta the human/sheep, she just doesn't like him.
With 'Harem' in the title you expect things to get hot and steamy quickly, but that isn't the case - when it does occur it quickly becomes all hands, tails, feathers etc. on deck.
There's also a sub plot in which a deal with a demon must be paid off within a specified time or Steve and Lulu (the human/canine) will become his slaves for eternity.
At the end it descends into a young nerds sex fantasy.
I didn't really expect to finish it, but I did and, overall, it was readable (it could have done with a tighter edit).

Weird and below average in everything

Why? The world doesn’t have animals just demihumans. Ofc human are super racist and at a farm they produce eggs and meat that others eat. Hmmm, so you say they sell and eat their children. Worse not thought out idea ever.

Plot. A dog demihuman girl leaves magic school to run her passed away father’s farm. Oh, she know shit about farming. And even more she sells all equipment. Still doesn’t give up and takes a loan from a devil with her soul. Can the heroine be more stupid?

Character. MCs just as stupid as the heroine. Ofc a super good guy. They are like 12 year-olds all of them. The only one with a plan is the devil loan shark.

Magic/Game system. He learn some spells that pretty much isn’t used. Omfg there is magic man!!! He also has a game system where he gets a few points he can just buy skills - any skills. He buys a few beginners skills for farming and one magic spell. Omg, cheat the damn game man.

There is a lot more stupid thing, but I don’t care anymore…

This was alright. It's a very by-the-numbers isekai premise. It even borrows the standard tropes from ecchi harem anime whole cloth, with a lot of the interactions with the girls feeling straight out of one of those animes. Each girl falls into a very standard archetype seen in those shows. You have the "main" girl who is a generic girl-next-door type. You have the energetic, spunky, and slightly dumb/clueless girl. You have the slightly older and sultry girl, who makes a big deal about being "too old" even though she's not. And you have the tsundere. (Steve, the protagonist, literally identifies her as a tsundere within the text.)

I found the protagonist Steve to be a bit... meh. The premise of the book is that he was a programmer in his previous life, but he knows farming because... he played farming simulator games and watched farming YouTube videos. What?? One passage states that he remembered how to harvest radishes from a YouTube video he watched. That's just ridiculous. I'm not saying people don't watch random YouTube videos - I certainly do. But being able to remember a specific process and enact it perfectly just from your memory of a random video is silly. The fact that Steve was a programmer has zero effect on the story, so why not have him be a farmer? Or, like, the son of farmers, so he grew up on a farm? It would be a much better explanation.
Most of these harem books have the protagonist act as some level of machismo tough guy 'alpha.' It's always nonsense bullshit, but that's the type authors generally depict. Easy wish fulfillment, I guess. This book, however, makes Steve more of a stereotypical "nice guy." It's still just as cringe-worthy as those tough guys can be, but a different kind. However, the sex scenes end up being even more embarrassing. The flirty/sexy dialogue somehow feels more cringey when coming from a guy who is usually trying to be a nice person.

Anyways. It's an ok book. The story is nothing special, and the conclusion was kind of lackluster to me, but it gets the job done. I'll be reading on eventually. Probably will also try out other works from this author.

A fun isekai'd story.

This isekai story is interesting read. It has lovable characters with different personalities the world building is just getting started. I like the challenges the main character has and yet he's still pretty easy going but not a pushover. The beast girls are interesting and each has their own personalities funny quirks and there is also lots of humor. The story also has good fight scenes along with lots of adventure. There are spicy scenes that are not fade to black but they happen towards the end of the novel so there's lots of story before. I myself mostly prefer the story and it is easy to skip the parts if you don't want to read about their bed bedroom adventures which are not really needed for the story other than to reinforce the love and passion that they have for each other. So far the story is entertaining and hope to read more.

Great and simple book to enjoy.

Reading this alongside an audiobook was a great experience. The narrators have so much enthusiasm and gave the characters all very distinct personalities. The audiobook even fixed some pronouns and naming in several parts of the book to have it more sense.

I loved the simplicity of the story. There's an evil debt collector and they must work to save themselves from him. Sometimes these stories are perfect for when you don't really want to wade through all the badly done lore/world-building as fillers just to read the story.

The sex was also well done as it sits at the halfway point of the long book onwards and feels earned instead of irrational lust at first sight. Although it kind of turned into a little too much of an erotica later in the book.

A very chill read with some classic vanilla fun

Likable characters, good pacing, and a well written dirty talk come together to make the male equivalent of a good bodice ripper. Contrary to what I expected from the name, the book is actually rather story focused, not that there isn't a fair amount of naughtiness. It goes without saying that this is definitely a male focused fantasy, though I feel the book title is fair warning. If you don't want that I don't really know why you're here.

Story was okay, chemistry was a little fast at first, but is very fluffy, poly just happened not really talked about much. People as livestock is always going to be odd for me, doesn’t go full Anthro with the characters though, just furry people. Quite a bit of action for a farming novel, the villain was contrite with how predictable the plot was, maybe it’s just me. The MC’s power was underutilized I feel. And we don’t get that many side characters to flesh out the world, feels dull when we only have a handful of characters that get any dialog.

Isekai, Monster Girls, Magic, and Farming. It's All Here!

I picked this up because I'm a huge fan of Isekai and demi-human fiction. I'm also a big fan of farming style video games like Stardew Valley and Graveyard Keeper. David Aries has successfully combined the 2 into a fun fast flowing read!

I wish the characters back stories were a little more fleshed put, but there's still 2 books in the series so hopefully I get my wish.

A Hilarious Romp

This was a great introduction to a fantasy trilogy! The story was interesting enough to leave me wanting for more, and it was hot and erotic in the right places. I have a vivid imagination, so I wish there were illustrations to accompany the tale. Why no 5-star rating, you ask? Well, there's plenty of unanswered questions, and at least two more books to explore them. I can't wait!

It has been a while from when I read this but I remember having to push myself to finish it. Many times with these raunchier books the author improves after their first one but honestly I can say I regret pushing through and didn't finish the next one. It's so tropey and their was barely enough story to go with the sex. I won't get much more into it since I don't fully remember it and I will never try to reread it.

Fun, quirky and full of laughs

Definitely an interesting read, with fun characters and full of laughs and plenty of antics.

Base building in another world, where the base is a farm, and the farm animals are... Beastkin... Definitely was a change of pace for my normal reads, but a nice change of pace.

Farm Prince

I really liked this book and has a different type I read about life harpy and demi=beast. Fern is absolutely my favourite. That girl took a liking to Steve and hasn't slowed down one bit. I'm ready to read the next book.
Marie hasn't come on Steven team but little by little she's warming up to the idea.

“Harem Farm” is a fun, lighthearted isekai story that delivers on its titular promise: it’s all about a harem and farming. But not in that order.

I liked how the romantic elements were a slow burn, with our misplaced hero Steve spending the first half of the book getting to know the monster women while he helps them whip their decrepit, run-down farm back into shape. The relationships have time to grow before we get to the spicy bits, which makes them so much more satisfying.

The story was fast paced, straightforward, and highly enjoyable, with solid base-building and a neat system for leveling up. Not to mention the light humor and the solid sexy bits. I’m looking forward to more!

This series is the kind of Harem literature I really gravitate towards. Each of the characters have their own voice and personality and are not just there simply for the smut. The spicy scenes are intense and the need for spice helps with the overarching plot. This is a fantastic series and any fan of monster girls owes it to themselves to check it out.

The author has greatly improved on his writing from his previous work. As this story feels to have a much better flow and pacing as whole. The characters feel more like themselves and tend to keep that personality even when they join the MCs harem.

Nice little nugget of gold

This was a good story. There was a steady pace for the plot and the characters behaved in a that was consistent with their overall character arch. I rather enjoyed it. The harem element was tasteful and with a slow build.
