My life couldn’t get any better or more bizarre. Ever since moving to small town Prosper Woods, California, and meeting my vampire lover, the oddest things have been happening. Of course, a lot of that has to do with the fact that this whole place has turned out to be one giant melting pot of the strangest paranormal creatures on the planet. Let’s face it, this little place is like the United Nations of weirdos.

Not all of them like me.

I’m in love with my unicorn who just happens to be the most decent, honest, and kindest man I’ve known throughout my long life. I hadn’t planned on settling down forever. I usually must move on every twenty years or so, because I never age. I always wanted a family but alas, that wasn’t to be. Now, things are looking up and all because a curious little boy has come to town.

Unfortunately, our enemies are determined to spoil all this bliss.

I’ve had to combine forces with someone I absolutely hate. Plus…he smells like dog. The only reason we’re pairing up is because we share common enemies. A reckoning is coming for the vampire and the unicorn, and am I looking forward to ending them once and for all.

And if the kid gets in the way, I’ll just give him to Justine as a snack.

I love these characters! Romeo and Vincent are still having to deal with the evil vampires who want to take them down and the old alpha. Now they also need to get to know about Hannibal, the prince of the Unicorns and Romeo’s son. Hannibal knows so much more about magic because he was raised with it and Romeo wonders if he will ever have the time to catch up. But together Vincent and Romeo can take on just about anything along with their friends. The story isn’t over yet! Of course…if Hannibal is the prince, that makes Romeo the king of the unicorns. Long live the king!

I love this series, which is a great mix of fabulous characters, quirky humour, and drama. The letters to the editor are a fun start to each chapter. This book progressed the plot a step closer to tying up the overall arc but still left a good dollop of loose ends. I started reading the next one as soon as I’d finished as I wanted to find out what happens next.

I like how the author takes paranormal tropes, mixes them up, and shakes out a world rich in history, yet very much a part of modern life. I enjoy the small town setting and everything that goes with that. I love the ongoing plot of poor Rome trying to figure out which shifter everyone is. There aren’t a lot of humans in this town.

Vincent and Rome complement each other, and I love how Vincent isn’t your typical vampire in this world. I liked how Rome’s history was developed more in this world as he discovers he has a son, and he’s far more entrenched in the supernatural world, being a unicorn aside, than he thought he was.

The supporting cast totally rock, especially Sally. I loved the revelation about Catalina, which made so much sense. The guardians are very cool, and I wouldn’t want to get on their wrong side. I’m intrigued by the dire wolves, so am very happy that Castor is getting his own series.

I was happy to get more of Greg and Sam in this story, and love their relationship and how Greg is coming into his own as pack alpha. I also like their friendship with Vincent, Rome, and others in the town, and how their town community is growing into more like family.

Be warned, this book ends on a bit of a cliffhanger and you’ll want the next book ASAP.

True Prince is the third book in the Prosper Woods Chronicles (although I technically think of it as the fourth book since the prequel has a lot of important details for the series). Just like the previous books in the series, True Prince is a mixture of paranormal drama, romance, and zany shenanigans. The entire series has a Welcome to Nightvale vibe but much more heavy on the romance. This humor and vibe may not be for everyone, but I really enjoy it and find it super refreshing. This series must be read in order, as this book starts right where the previous book ended. We get more answers and learn more about Rome’s background. The ending leaves us waiting for the next big showdown, but whatever happens, we know that Rome and Vincent will face it together.

The audiobook was narrated by John Solo who does such a fantastic job. I love his performance – it was dynamic and smooth, which made it super easy to listen to and get immersed. The audiobook production was also well done.

Flanked by Rainbows

If for nothings else, people should be reading these books for the hilarious letters to the editor. I love starting each chapter with a chuckle. And if that isn’t a draw, how about a magical unicorn, vampires, witches, werewolves, evil vendettas and did I mention a magical unicorn? “…everything about the man seemed to fit with me tightly, making me feel whole and complete. He was as much mine as anyone had ever been.” I never quite know what new trial Romeo and Vincent will encounter but as long as they’re together I know they’ll prevail. Plus I’m loving the journey, all the amazing friends they’ve made and the steamy hidden romance that is in this series. Surprising reveals, a lot of action and suspense, hilarious scenes, and so many feel-good, squishy, loving moments with our favorite Bloody Mary loving vampire await in this excellent paranormal fantasy series.

The plot is really interesting in this series but man does the author need a better editor. The reiteration of things is so annoying like mentioning a million times that Vincent moves fast with vampiric speed. Yes we know! He is a vampire, of course he moves with vampiric speed 🤬 Many other examples like this one but I do enjoy the series so I'll continue it 🤷‍♀️

Well how cute. A Prince of the Unicorns who is sweet and only 8 years old and when asked what he would like to drink always replies ' a beer'.
The story arc of the bad vamps and Vincent continue and in one interesting twist, Romeo is stuck as a teeny, tiny unicorn and Vincent braids his mane.
We get to meet all sorts of shifters and I can't wait to jump into the final book.

Definitely not a standalone. This starts immediately following the events of True Blue. Romeo and Vincent are dealing with family issues along with continuing threats from the former Frederick werewolf alpha. Greg and Sam finally get together! I cannot wait to read how the author wraps this story line up! Overall, great story! This was a really well written, highly recommend. I’m voluntarily reviewing from an advanced copy that I received. My reviews are solely based on my thoughts and opinions.

Third Outing In Prosper Woods

So, three books into Rome's tenure as Prosper Woods' sheriff (yes, I'd say these books need to be read in order) and he and his mate Vincent are now dealing with new additions to their family unit. There's also the continuing threats from Vincent's vampire nemesis and the former Frederick werewolf pack alpha.

I genuinely love the world-building here - the amazingly varied community of shifters and magic users/paranormal really appeals to me. I also like that this translates well in the multi POV writing style (i.e. not just hearing from Rome and Vincent's perspective, even though they're the MCs) and the lovely community/found family feel to the story. There's this author's trademark humour, too, though sometimes I did think it was laid in a bit thick.

All in all, True Prince is another entertaining romp through another Prosper Woods adventure with a decent blend of action and romance, and an ending that signals the jeopardy looming for Rome and Vincent in the next instalment. 4*

This series is so fun. Lotsa love, the perils are not actually all that perilous, the romances are totally sweet, and the reveals are satisfying. The last reveal in this book made me chuckle and say, “Of COURSE!” Looking forward to the next installment. I’m hoping there might be a Greg & Sam spin-off in the future.

Love this series

This series is just so much fun to read. As usual, Vincent and Romeo are sweet and sexy, Hannibal is just adorable, love Greg and Sam. There's plenty of action and the Letters to the Editor continue to crack me up. And really, how can you resist a story that starts with a Three Dog Night reference! 😂 Looking forward to True Order

ARC received from the author for an honest review.

Rome (unicorn and sheriff of Prosper Woods) and Vincent (vampire and antiques dealer) came to Prosper Woods looking for a quiet place to put down roots. What they got was a town full of paranormals and one mystery after another. There are religious nuts led by Catalina Broadmore, trying to run off all the sinners, shifters and homosexuals (who will be left in town if they do?). There are vampires still trying to steal Vincent's antique books. There are powerful people protecting Rome and Hannibal and some that haven't shown if they're friend or foe yet. Greg the local wolf pack alpha is still trying to get his feet under him and his BFF Sam is changing their relationship. With all the things going on who has time to breath?

This is a well written book that will grab you from page one and have you begging for more IMO. The characters are all needed for the story and we are getting more background on everyone with each book. There are some places that had me busting out laughing. Patricia has a way with words that paint pictures in the mind. I will be checking out her other books as this series is really good. I highly recommend anyone who likes paranormal to check out this series.

Patricia Logan gets back to ALL the good stuff (some of it quite bad, to be totally honest) after leaving readers floored in True Blue: Prosper Woods Chronicles Book 2! A boy unicorn shifter bursts upon the scene at the very end of the book! Wow! For those of us following the series, the writer has left us anxious for the next book all along the way and she didn't disappoint us at all! In True Prince: Prosper Woods Chronicles Book 3, Sheriff Romeo Harmon discovers that the sperm he donated while serving in the Marine Corps resulted in 8-year-old Hannibal, a unicorn shifter born to a queen who died several years earlier. The young prince comes with a couple of kick-butt guardians and plenty of his own skills that he is able to share with his biological father. He's a charming and delightful child. And a perfect addition to the lives of Romeo and his lover Victor, as well as the Prosper Woods community of supernaturals.
As always, Patricia Logan gives readers satisfying resolutions to problems while leaving plenty of unresolved issues for readers to anticipate in the next book. In the previous book, we meet the dire wolves that Vincent believes are wolf shifter royalty. The brother and sister pair are centuries old and originated from Persia but are currently running a bed and breakfast in Prosper Woods. The vampires led by Sergio who are after the ancient texts left to Vincent when his sire died true death are still in the area and scheming along with Floyd--the old wolf pack leader Greg bested. Last but far from least, the mayor Tommy Farrell (a witch just like his brother Sid) has joined forces with Catalina Broadmoor to protest against the B and B owners--an occurrence that serves as a distraction for a Floyd and Sergio ambush. Our heroes win that round with the help of their other supernatural friends. Further entanglements with Mrs. Broadmoor near the end of the novel leads to the discovery of her true, very appropriate nature. A victory for Romeo and Victor results in a major complication that will bring the Conclave of Eight, a council of ancient and dangerous vampires, right to Prosper Woods for the last book of the series!
My favorite thing concerning this series is the absolute devotion and love that exists between Sheriff Romeo Harmon and vampire Vincent Lasco! It makes the sex scenes so much more meaningful, in my humble opinion. Honorable mention goes to the relationship between Greg Brown and Sam Jackson, the wolf shifters of Prosper Woods. I wanted those two as a mated pair right from the beginning and once again the writer did NOT disappoint. Readers are able to witness the blossoming of Greg as he assumes the role of pack leader with Sam at his side. Boy, does it make this reader so hopeful for the Prosper Woods Wolves series! I just want the author to keep on writing them and adding to her incredibly diverse universe! John Solo shows off by turning out an AMAZING performance as the series provides a perfect framework for his immense talent! His enjoyment shines through in every Prosper Woods Chronicle audiobook!

I have so enjoyed the Prosper Woods series so far and getting to know the supernatural community within it. We've gotten to know Romeo and Vincent as they first met and fell for each other before Romeo's true heritage was revealed. Now there is a little boy that has come to town, with his two guardians, who adds a very interesting dimension to the story whilst the couple are also fighting against their enemies, Sergio the vampire and Floyd the disgraced alpha werewolf. Still on their side is alpha wolf, Greg, and his pack, Romeo's deputies, Sally and Dave, the local witch, Sid, and a whole host of other paranormal creatures.
The story kicks off straight away with the little boy, Hannibal, explaining who he is and it takes both MCs and the reader to catch up with what's going on. I also enjoy that we get quite a few POVs in this series - Vincent, Romeo, Greg and Sergio. It gives a good insight into what everyone's thoughts and actions are to what's going on. I would say this book is less relationship focused that the previous two but that takes nothing away from the bond you can sense between Vincent and Romeo. We do get some development with Greg and his own mate status but a lot of the book is drama surrounding people that have it out for the LGBT community of Prosper Woods and, of course, directly towards the vampire and the unicorn.
There is a good mix of stuff going on with some fun, light-hearted moments mixed in with the emotional highs and lows experienced by several of the townspeople. Maybe not my favourite of the series but progress is made in all aspects of the story and we're left on the slight cliffhanger of what's coming next for Vincent.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.

Hi Y’all! Come in and grab a sweet and a cold drink while I tell you about this book I just listened to.
The title is True Prince it is book 3 in …The Prosper Woods Chronicles series. You should read or listen in order.
The cover is very pretty and goes well with the title. Then I read the blurb and it really got my interest because we met Hannibal at the end of the last book. Plus Sergio’s view is in the blurb and I had to see what he was up to.

Who’s my favorite main character ? It’s so hard to choose a favorite so I’ll say both Vincent and Rome. But you gotta love all the side characters too especially Hannibal.

The story has a few settings. But the woods is the main one.
The story is a PNR with every shifter you can imagine. There is humor and so many twists.
I loved the ending. It was a cliffhanger but I myself like continuing series and love a good cliffhanger it just makes me want the next book! Bring it on! )
How hot was the book? A 4
Who do I recommend this book to? if you like shifters, established couples, witches, magic, vampires ongoing stories, twist, a romance with heat you will love this!
I do recommend the audio version. The narration just gets better with each book
Pacing is good, voices are great it just elevates a good story!

✔ Letto!

Per me è ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ assolutamente!

🌲👀Surprise a minute for a unicorn and his mate🦄

Wow! There's one new wrinkle after another as Sheriff Romeo, otherwise known as king of the unicorn shifters, fights off attacks coordinated by a power-hungry, evil vampire, his minions and collaborators.

This story, like its predecessors in the series, has steam, lots of action, shifters galore in Prosper Woods, a small California town, and almost nonstop tension. Traitors, forced or voluntary, join the paranormal conflict and face off against the good guys with often fatal consequences. Werewolf alpha Greg and his bestie Sam get to reach blissful highs and fearful lows as their relationship morphs. And Romeo with his Vincent get to experience warm, protective instincts for young Hannibal, a surprise arrival who, with his entourage, adds some strong mojo to assist the town's protectors.

I liked the quick pace, the romancing, the varied cast of characters, and the feeling that more surprises were just around the corner. Plus, each chapter starts with a whimsical letter to the local newspaper editor that brings a chuckle. I will be looking for more from Prosper Woods.

The last book ended with a bit of a bombshell, and this one picks up right where True Blue left off. Romeo got a heck of a surprise, and True Prince follows with more action, more surprises, and more trouble from the bad vampires and ousted former werewolf alpha. Sam and Greg are in for their share of trouble (and romance), too. I love these characters, the double romances, and of course those zany Letters to the Editor. I am looking forward to more. Warning: This is not a standalone read; the series needs to be read in order.

I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

My review is in regards to the whole series.
Amateurish, repetitive, throw everything at the wall and see if it sticks
Lots of repetitive information I thought was just there to pad out the pages. The repetition of information was also a big problem for me. If the reader reaches book 4 in the series, they know who is who, they know all the main events, they know how everyone connects with everyone else. We don't need to be reminded that many times.
Sex scenes are repetitive and boring.
Conclusion of series felt like a rip off of a popular vampire and wolf series of books and movies. The whole thing is very anticlimactic and seemed rushed. You are reading along and soon all the bad people are dead with no real explanation.

I love this series and all characters, but I feel all the repetition is becoming annoying. Since book 1, the author keeps reiterating facts from previous books and retelling who is who. I guess if the reader has come this far, they know all this. And the letters at the beginning of each chapter are getting old too, I've been skipping them all.

True Prince has that same nice vibe from the whole series; Prosper Woods keeps getting more and more interesting as new shifters are known, and also more dangerous as new bad guys keep showing up with all the wrong intentions.

Again, Patricia Logan delivers another addictively wacky story packed full of paranormal species, evil villains and two sexy as hell male leads in Vincent and Romeo. The story follows the same general structure of the prior books but it’s not predictable, at all. Nothing in this series is and that’s part of why I like it so much. Ms. Logan’s excellent writing and creative character development don’t hurt either. If you haven’t read this series, start from the prequel novella, True Knight, and read the books in order. You cannot read True Prince as a standalone.
