Contains two treatises of the venerable Imam al-Haddad. The first treatise, Mutual Reminding, distils the ethic and content of offering good counsel to one another. The second treatise, Good Manners, discusses the manners recommended of the spiritual wayfarer as he or she takes the path to spiritual felicity.
this one and the other al-haddad one (gift for seeker) ..both r kinda blah...too many blanket, over simplified statements...i duno if the translation is bad or if that subject matter is irrelevent...but mmmyeahhh....
Another short and sweet beauty from Imam Al-Haddad. It is about delighting in obedience to Allah and purifying one's intentions and means. The two treatises go hand in hand - a true pleasure in the reading as in the attempt at implementation.
the read's kind of slow, but it does have quite a few anecdotes and quotes from the early companions of the prophet (saws) which are worthwhile to read.
