God. When it comes down to it, he's so dense... so pure. Is it any wonder he keeps attracting weirdos and scumbags? Not that I'm not one of them. -Shige
I freaking love this series. I have been invested in Shin and Shige's relationship since I started the series back in 2022.
In this volume, the two try to figure out how to move forward after Shin tells Shige that he and Tatara shared a kiss. It was only to practice for an upcoming role, but Shige is notoriously jealous and had to work hard to keep his rage under control, knowing he still had to work with Tatara. Aside from that, he's still struggling with feelings that he isn't good enough for Shin and that one day Shin will realize it. How does he not see how devoted Shin is to him? He'd do anything for him, including giving up his career and separating himself from his closest friends if it meant keeping Shige happy. What we learned about Shige's agency made me appreciate him even more. Nobody can possibly love Shin more than he does. 5++ stars
Ugh. I can't stay mad at Tatara. He's just a soft boy. The way that he apologized was so sweet. I'm glad that this bump strengthened their relationship. I was so afraid of the angst it was going to bring, but it straightened itself out pretty quickly. God, I feel so sympathetic for Shige now though. In my initial read of this series I was flip flopping on wether or not I liked him, but this time I have definitely warmed up to him. He can have a nasty personality sometimes, but it's honestly kind of endearing lol. This CEO guy and his crusty dusty niece on the other hand... It's on sight. They better not hurt Shin. I feel like Shin's pretty tough though. This whole series is about everyone around him protecting him and him being oblivious and just wanting to act, but I think that when it comes down to it Shin is going to be able to hold his own very well. I'm just really nervous for how this is going to go. I don't know if my heart can take it.
So glad that we finally got the backstory on why Shige is acting! It’s always bugged me since he doesn’t care about it and it seems like it just makes their lives way more difficult so I’m glad that there’s an actual reason and it’s not just because anymore. Granted there might have been some hinting about this that I just don’t remember because of how spread out of my reading of the volumes is but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ And his manager being the one that took the picture too, so sad. Especially when I thought there was going to be a romantic moment between the two managers and then it was actually just a bombshell being dropped, insane. Also, bless up for Shin and Shige actually communicating more and Hanasaki for being a good friend to Shin.

I really enjoyed this volume, since there was a lot of emotional depth to it and Shin doing some soul searching. I will say Shige has balls of steel. He was blackmailed into becoming an actor, to protect Shin, but he’s able to stand tall because he loves him so much.
Right now, the two seem to be a good place emotionally and in their careers, but it’s clear that bad things are on the horizon. Get ready for the angst everyone.
Ah, so far Sachimo-sensei hasn't disappointed me. As for her drawing style, there's no need to question it anymore, because Sachimo-sensei remains consistent in showcasing her brilliance through the characters' expressions, very stylish and not boring.
Ah, in this volume, the story becomes more complex with angst elements thickening. I live for works rich in angst elements, and of course, I love this.
Shin and Shige have had more freedom being out in crowds now that the public know that they have been friends since high school. However, their secret relationship is on the brink when a fellow actor comes between them. Will Shin tell Shige what really happened? And how will Shige react? Decent volume.
Well, didn't expect that twist with Shige's manager. Can't say there are too many surprises regarding the filming process or what happens in Shin and Shige's relationship. Everyone keeps talking about protecting Shin especially, but now even Tatara knows at least some of what Shige has been putting up with for the sake of their relationship. It's a wonder truthfully that both of them are doing as well as they are, and at rival companies, though it's not like Shige seems to be given a choice in the matter. It would be interesting if a time came that he genuinely could leave and join the same company as Shin and Tartara, though that does also make me wonder what company Tatara was with before he joined Shin's; can't recall if that was mentioned previously, though obviously he's been around for awhile and knows the kind of dirty tricks people play. Even then, he seems shocked at Shige's story.

This Japanese Manga about two actors in love in the entertainment industry is getting better and better. I'm loving this story. These two are crazy about each other. They have a good relationship and there is good drama. They are working adults and there is some great drama around them.
The story keeps building on itself and I feel like this has reached a climax with the story. I hope they can keep the great work going. Shin and Shiga are complex characters with great backstories and interesting arcs. The are in a high pressure job under the spotlight and it's only a matter of time before something gets out.
I can't wait for more. This is a great series with some good spicy scenes as well. What will happen next? I can't wait to find out.
Definitely a massive step forward in Shige and Shin's relationship. In terms of being honest, truthful, and being your true self around your partner. Much to learn in this chapter. Gosh I almost cried just experiencing how much Shige cares for "his" Shin and the limitless sacrifice he would do for "his" Shin! I'm looking forward to reading more about their story and the unconditional love they have for each other! As well possibly crying in the process...
OOhhh a lot of back ground on our couple. This maybe the most caring volume yet. We really see the depth of the love that they have for each other. The possessive, toxic, and jealousy are still there but we get to see the love. The darkness of that talent agency is shown more and we are introduce to a woman that I don't remember or we haven't been fully introduced to yet.
I really enjoyed the emotional depth of this volume. I have loved this series since vol. 1 and it has just kept getting better. I can't wait to see the finished artwork since the ARC was sort of rough.
Ich fand es interessant das eine neue Person aufgetaucht ist, und auch in den Hauptcharacter verliebt ist. Jetzt kann die Eifersucht so richtig losgehen. Freue mich auf band 8
Definitely one of my favorite couples. They are so obsessed with each other. And I liked how they handled their argument. It felt realistic but the communication 🤌🤌
Does anyone else get low-key stressed out for the main characters?! I just want them to succeed, but it seems like there are so many pesky, meddlesome parties that won’t let them be! 😭😭😭
