Broken Bow: An O'Donnell Classic Western
Zane McCabe is a mysterious stranger with a haunted past.
He wanders from Kansas to Nebraska, and straight into the valley of the Loup River on a horse named Buck, with a dog named Wolf, dragging with him a reputation that just won’t stay buried. He’s left behind a life of crime and the possible love of a beautiful green-eyed woman.
All Zane wants now is to keep his cowboy hat on, his head down, his Colt .45 holstered, and his business his own. He yearns for a fresh start. But freedom is hard-fought when he’s drawn into a range war between a group of small ranchers, and a family of land-hungry cattle barons headed by the ruthless Macon brothers.
Zane will stop at nothing to try to bring peace and tranquility to the valley, stealing a bit of it for himself, if he doesn’t die in the trying first.

A modern Western
I love Westerns. To me as a ' prepper' they are the ultimate example of how to live. Living off the land. When Akers posted a new book was out I jumped on it. Since teaming up with O'Donnell, looks like I have some new books to read.
I won't give you a synopsis of the book but I can tell you it was entertaining, informative and well written. Everything I look for in a book. You won't be disappointed.
Definitely recommend this book. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

Fantastic!
Having already been a fan of L.L. Akers, it was natural for me to pick this new book and give it a shot. I am so glad I did, it was absolutely fantastic. The story just flowed, the characters were very well written and the writing was done in such a descriptive context you could just about smell the picture it painted in your imagination. I am very much looking forward to the next book.
