Nova yous a bad b*tch!!!!! Listen I was wondering how this was going to come together and I was not disappointed. Things are very much in utter chaos as we pick things up in book 2. Nique has gotten in bed with the devil and can’t seem to break free. I mean I was shocked af when she turned to the very person that betrayed her trust. You would’ve thought that after the way Dri gave her the business she would steer clear of Kat but nope she was a glutton for punishment. I know Nova and Dri needed Nique to learn her lesson but lawd I was on the edge of my seat praying things didn’t go to far. Eventually I did empathize with Nique because carrying a secret so heavy with no one to talk to was too heavy of a burden for a sixteen year old to carry. Had Dri put his feelings aside for his sister things would’ve been totally different.
Kat had these characters by the balls but BAYBEY!!! when her dirt was exposed I was clutching my invisible pearls. I NEVER would’ve expected for her secret to be so deep. I wouldn’t buried that ish too. 🥴🥴Look my book buddy Nay said Kat got what she deserved and well the b*tch got what she DESERVED!!!! I’ve never rooted for the demise of a character as much as I did with Kat. Nova showed Kat that she was not the one nor the two and she made me proud 😩! This was a wild lil series and while some moment were heavy, I THOROUGHLY enjoyed it!

This story ended perfectly!! There was enough detail to make the reader literally experience every feeling & place in this story! This author scares me sometime at the beginning, but she pulled thru! 😂😂 This finale was exactly the completed piece to this secret! 💯

Omg this book was so good that Nova was the truth. Dri was a young boss his sister Nique got on my nerves. Kat met her match with Nova definitely a great read.

Now this is how you end a book!
Just when I thought I had it all figured out…. BAM, Charae comes and snatch the rest of my edges out!
Part 1 left me wondering what would become of Nique, Nova, Alora, Dri and most importantly, Kat! I mean… because we all love to hate her, right?
Part 2 answered every question I had in mind. Nique had to learn the hard way what happens when you’re not loyal and Nova learned that a little understanding goes a long way. She may have felt as though her secret was too big, but at the end she was able to come clean with redemption. I felt as though Dri grew so much in this installment. He was no longer guarded and slowly he was able to open up to Nova and take responsibility for his unemotional ways dealing with Nique.
Kat had everyone fooled! She literally had dirt on EVERYBODY and she made sure to live up to her HBIC status. I really didn’t know how or who would be able to knock Kat off her pedestal, but I was impressed with how it all went down.
You really can’t “Keep it between us” when everyone’s drama is tied to 1 person and it’s just a matter of time before it’s exposed!!!
All in all.. I highly recommend this book and I’m looking forward to the next masterpiece Charae create.
Oh yeah, I want to dig up Kat’s paw -paw and kill him again! That sick worm infested …. Whew! 😫

Kat was something else and I truly was surprised by her secrets. She was causing so much trouble in everyone else's life like her secrets couldn't destroy her. I didn't have an ounce of sympathy for her because she got everything she deserved. Nique had to learn a valuable lesson for going against Dri. I really wanted to choke Nique because there's no way she was that pressed for attention. I understand she wanted to talk but she never really took into consideration how Dri felt knowing he played a major part in the changes with their family. Nova was sick of the bs and I'm glad she finally decided to take control of her life. Alora wasn't much of a shocker because I know she'd had enough of Kat. Kat was one manipulative chick that should've known karma would soon pay her a visit. She got over on so many and never took into consideration the consequences that could possibly come about. Nova put the pieces together and it showed just how sick Kat and her granddaddy were. Overall I enjoyed this finale and the fact Nique learned a valuable lesson before it was too late and Dri and Nova were able to build after all the weight they once carried on their shoulders.

Absolutely B.O.M.B
This story captures you from the beginning to the end. Dri was definitely Nova’s Superman. Shit, he was the man, struggling and all. I felt his character through the phone. Nique, owwwww, she burned me tf up. I’m glad Dri and Nova made her sit in her own shit for awhile. She betrayed Dri to the ultimate max and I don’t blame him for handling her the way he did, sister or no sister, lack of emotions or not. Nique was dead wrong!!! Kat, was mentally fucked up and so was that grandfather of hers. Idc how much he was teaching her about life, nothing in this entire world will allow me to accept what he did to her. Just sick! Alora was definitely a victim of Kats but she should have been slapped a few times too because she new it was wrong to have Nique in that house. Kat was her grandfather all over again and I’m glad Nova and Dri put a stop to her and was able to get their life together, together. This book is a real page turner and will keep you wanting more.

So Charae is one of the very few authors ill write reviews for LOL but GOTTDAMN I LOVE HER AND HER DOPE @$$ WRITING SKILLS!
I feel like i have a lot of emotions and don’t really know how to express them clearly.
I absolutely loved this series! The development of Dri and experiencing his depression and just the emotional battle he was constantly in made my heart break into pieces and cry (charae, girl why you always got me crying reading all your books??) i wish i could give that man a big hug but so glad he felt safe with Nova and Nova was able to provide that for him. Men deal with mental health too & it’s so important for our black men to know their feelings are heard as well.
Loved loved loved the connection between Nova and Dri, how in the midst of their own battle with Anxiety they were able to love one another SUCH an important message
Anyways 5 frikkin stars, easily but I wouldn’t expect nothing else from Charae

there’s so much I want to say but I’m worried that may be too much of a spoiler. so instead, I’ll say this …READ THIS SERIES. I promise you won’t be disappointed. instead you’ll be smacked with characters so broken and riddled in pain that they don’t see their self worth, characters that are so loyal even when others are deserving of loyalty, characters so craving attention they’ll do the unthinkable. ugh. I love Charae as an author. she literally hasn’t steered me wrong once. not friggin’ once.

This was a great read. Kat definitely got what she deserved. I am glad Nova was able to finally tell everyone what took place that night with her bestii because it was eatting her alive. Nique she was something else she was so naive and it cost her almost her relationship with her brother and her freedom. Just because someone seems to be nice doesn't mean they have good tensions. I am glad Nova and Dri was able to have a happy ending as well as Alora being able to get from under Kat's evilness.

GREAT FINALE
This book had a perfect ending. No one's secret was safe once Kat found out and used it to her advantage but boy did the tables turn on her. Although her childhood wasn't anything pretty but disturbing, the queen of manipulation had to be stopped and I'm glad Dri and Nova were the ones to do it. I was happy Nova came clean to her parents and she got her happy ending with Dri. Can't wait for what the author has in store next.

Great Book!!!
I don’t know where to start. I loved the relationship between Dri and Nova. Kat tried everything in her power to keep them apart. I felt so bad about naive Nique. I had already predicted who was going to sell out Kat and I was right. However, I didn’t know how it was about to go down. This book is definitely worth the read!

Excellent read. A story I never would have thought of. So tired of all the hold my dope dealing man down, fighting multiple women for 1 mans attention, insta love stories. The substance and depth in this book is refreshing. I will continue to read more from Ms. Lewis 🤎

Growth
Good Ending to a series. Kat...Kat...Kat! Only words I can think of to describe her are Ruined. She was ruined at an early age so she felt that it was ok to ruin others lives, so glad she got what she deserved. Charae growth as an author came through in this read. Woman scorned
This book ended the series perfectly. There were no stones left unturned. All questions were answered and revenge was served. I'm so happy for Nova and Dri. But Nique still get on my nerves.

Each character in this story was broken...Kat, Dri, Nova and Nique! But what they all came to realize in the end was that some secrets needed to be revealed, and retribution was not kind to all! Nice wrap up to an emotional, thought provoking story.

What a storyline. Loyalty means a lot Nique was not loyal to Dri. She young , naive and very gullible. Nova was mature and always thinking . Glad they found a way out. Just deserved everything and more that she got…..

Kat is still evil and delusional. I'm glad Nova wasn't scared to stand up to her.......and with Dri by her side she found the courage to take her life back. I still don't like Nique though........ Good read.

Another One Bites the Dust
Whew, I wasn't ready for this storyline secret! I had to read each page slowly so I wouldn't miss anything and let it all soak in! Kats secret makes my stomach curl just thinking about it! Yeah she needed to bite the dust!

Great series!
This was a great series. Kat was the epitome of trash. Nique got on my nerves so bad, but she had to learn the hard way. I'm happy that Nova and Dri got all of their secrets out and he listened to her and moved away from the bad memories. Great job!!

No more secrets
I love how this series ended, it came full circle, and I was so glad that Kat was finally able to be checked and got what was coming to her. To know she was holding people's secrets over their head when she had the biggest secret of all.
