Terraform the barrens. Create life with your bare hands. And defeat the wild hunt.
Garrett Andrews will have to do all that, plus develop a mining colony on two separate planets if he wants to stand a chance at defeating the ancient, primordial evil bent on destroying the universe.
Worse, since his own planetary systems are starting to produce sentient life, he’ll have to level up those creatures and release them back into the wild, all while trying to fend off a former champion turned evil.
Thankfully, Garrett has one thing up his sleeve. He can summon a goddamned T-rex! After all, why fight fire with fire when you can literally chew up your enemies?
Characters are flat, the harem members are practically interchangeable, and the building aspect is stale. This series is very obviously running out of steam.
The ending of book 6 has me so excited for book 7 of this series and the next book for… nope, I’m not gonna spoil this or any other of Mr. Archer’s series. Just know that he is making an awesome… oops, almost spoiled it again. Only hint I’ll give is look at the name given at the end of chapter 30 (grinning). Also, I was laughing so hard at Garrett’s yell of, “it’s over 9000!” Enough almost spoilers, just know that if you enjoyed this series so far you won’t be disappointed in this latest iteration and you will definitely be looking forward to book 7 too.
Just finished book 6 and the entire novel is absolutely brilliant, with fun, quirky and amusing antics from Garrett and crew. New alliances, loads of quests and a new dungeon to face, plus a thorn in the side reappearing with another attempt against our favourite God.
I couldn't but the book down and once I got to that ending...! Can't wait to see if there's more on the way!
It was good I like the flow of the story and the pace. I my favorite part as always was the creation bits. I'd like to see more of that in the future. My only complaint is that some of the characters seemed to have totally different personalities than that they displayed in previous books.
Great book nice to see Garrett's planets getting leveled up. Can't wait to read the next book, looking forward to seeing how the life on his world evolves in the next book.
WORST book in series. Forced comedy that is NOT funny. Distractions galore. At least two situations where MC stresses time is critical (one a rescue mission), but stops to have sex first. Series does not have a finale by end of book, but no book 7 was written.
