In the year of 2013, the tide of zombies outbreak exploded in everyone homeland, humanity launches a large-scale battle in the endless nights awaiting for the arrival of the dawn.
The end is approaching, is there going to be a way out for them?
Their faiths were shattered into pieces and buried in ashes in the raging fire.
But within the blazing fire, a newborn hope arise once again.
life is far too short to read stuff that doesn’t spark any joy. this started off strong and i was super invested because the zombie apocalypse genre is a guilty pleasure of mine but…idk. this just isn’t doing anything for me. the writing is immaculate 10/10 and i do quite like the MC & ML but. when you start to skim over multiple paragraphs over and over chapter after chapter it’s time to throw in the hat.
also. the side CP??? i’m okay with age gaps and problematic themes in literature/danmei as a whole but??? one of them is 15 and has the mentality of a 10 year old (according to the MC & ML on multiple occasions) while the other is 28? the majority of characters assume they are father and son because that’s what they introduce each other as…nope erha & svsss has nothing on this novel
If you enjoy reading about zombies, the end of the world and a bunch of scientific terms, then this is highly recommended. Please ignore the low ratings, idk why its rated so low, even someone as dumb as me (who didn't understand any of the scientific crap) enjoyed this.
I swear, the papapa that Fei Tian gege writes is truly top tier😌💅
I'm not sure how I'm feeling right now. This should probably be called having mixed feelings? I'm happy that the World's Consciousness saved Liu Yan and Meng Feng, but, that plot armour is really wayyyyy too thick. My eyes really were on the verge of tearing up, when I suddenly realised something. The World's Consciousness saved Zhan Min and Jue Ming's lives, so why couldn't it save Liu Yan and Meng Feng's? They were the main characters and Fei Tian never writes angst, at most there would be an arc were the main characters separated, but they are bound to meet again.
Well, it turned out that I was right, the World's Consciousness really couldn't bear to see Liu Yan and Meng Feng dying, it saved them.
I feel like it would have been more impactful if Liu Yan and Meng Feng really died, but I guess I'm happy that they're still alive.
Zhan Ming x Jue Ming; I bet A LOT of people feel uncomfortable about them being together. I can understand why, since Jue Ming is basically still a child and calls Zhan Ming ‘dad’ but, I'm fine with it, like, honestly I don't really care. Maybe my heads messed up, but, I was shipping them since they first appeared🤣 I'm REALLY happy that they're official. \(≧▽≦)/
Wen Qiege; I really disliked this guy when he first appeared. My first impression of him was an annoying cannon fodder who was going to die soon. I was right about one thing, he really did die soon, but he didn't die a meaningless death, he died as a hero.True hero's don't need to shine brightly, Wen Qiege certainly didn't shine, but he was most definitely a hero, one that people don't pay attention to, but also one that people should never ever forget.
Zheng Feihu x Meng Jianguo yeah this ship is never gonna sail, but hey, I'm just putting this here. You get what I'm saying? 😏
I don't know what Lai Jie saw in Lao Xiao, but I hope he ends up with Lu Gu, I won't be able to sleep well if that doesn't happen!
