Well isn't this just dandy. I had to go and catch...feelings...ewww. And now here I am on a vacation to wrap my mind around what the hell my life has become in the short time they... my ex best friends... came back into my life.

Amazing book as usual , but honestly I wanted more groveling. I know I am being unreasonable since Dean's reason of acting out and sending Harlow packing is completely understandable and logical but I don't know , the decision should have been a joint team one , as for Axel his reason for loathing Queenie was garbage and he deserved everything she gave him and more, what the bastard didn't deserve was for her to confess her love so easily to him when it took time to say the same words to the other three. I still hate Axel and quiet frankly he doesn't deserve the second chance Queenie gave him(I don't care the she never allowed the bastard to walk over her and retaliated swiftly and brutally because I am sour grudge holding bitch like that , Sue me). I want sweet Sam a part of her harem too , aaand offcourse Evie , Rosie and Neo are my favorites. Cass also takes away my heart with his softieness and Papa bear role, but irrespective of not knowing Dean's plan of making Harlow leave and him being devasted and trying to find her I still feel he should have tried harder to find Harlow(little ole sour grudgy bitch, that's me ), but again like Harlow I give him a leeway because of Rosy Posy .
The cliffy is however brutal , unlike in book 1 where the ending was okayey I we could have waited for months for the story, this cliffhanger stopped my heart , like whattftttfttt . I desperately hope that the 3rd book comes soon , like really really soon because the cliffy is legitly killing me.

I don’t even know where to begin! Queenie is BAE!! This woman right here has got to be my all time favorite FMC of 2021 she can literally do it all. She kicks A$$ and takes names add in that she is fun, feisty, can hold a grudge like no ones business and if complexly CRAY!! This woman has been through it all and my heart completely ached for her but it also shined bright with how she fought back to overcome everything and landed on top.
Her guys…. I mean I get it they shattered our girls world but let me tell you they came back swinging and really showed up and showed our to prove themselves to our girl and I think I fell hella hard for them in this book. We also get a very special very heart warming and oh so sexy new relationship that I am so here for… Be still my beating heart!!!
These characters have completely taken over my world and this author’s amazing writing has me all in my feels with them and going through this journey and I cannot get enough. This author will have you captivated from beginning to end and then begging for more once you reach the end and that was a cliffy from hell to say the least. I cannot wait to see what the he!! Gritty dark romance
I didn't think I could love or want to be Queenie anymore after Rising Queen but I couldn't be anymore wrong. Queenie is the ultimate FMC she is, strong, independent, sexy, fiesty and unforgiving to those who deserve it.
She is badass and bat shit crazy which makes her even more lovable.
Queenies story is brutal and Heartbreaking. It's understandable to why she became a serial killer.
Even though her guys Cass , Dean, Neo and Axel broke her heart at the beginning they slowly redeemed them selves but not without some revenge from Queenie.
New relationships formed. Old relationships are visited and explored
Queenie may be a tough nut but when it comes to the people she loves she is a big teddy bear.
This series has everything you could want in a book. Murder, sex, comedy, drama, mystery and a storyline that will have you hooked.
It's electric, highly entertaining, emotionally charged, Electrifyingly sexy, dangerously addictive and wicked.
Ended on one hell of a cliffhanger. Cant wait to see what's install for Queenie and her crew.

Alisha Williams did it again!!! Another fantastic continuation to the Blood Empire Series! From the first chapter until the awesome cliffhanger, you will be entertained.
Queenie grows so much in book two, I love seeing her learn to trust, and take on her mommy role. Her relationships change and grow, but she’s still dangerous. Don’t let her growth fool you, she’ll still cut you down and smile while doing it.
Neo is still a full fledge psycho, and my love for him grew in this book. Cass, Axel, and Dean are everything, learning their past helped understand them a little better
Now our girls, Evie, was everything. The growing relationship between her and Queenie but also the guys, just yes!! Rosie, sweet sassy Rosie, love her, and the relationship between her and all the characters.

Overall I liked this book but it's very repetitive, they fight and torture someone very graphically then they have sex in all its messy detail all on a continuous loop

Damn Alisha Williams Author you goddess, I was so wet during this whole book. My hubbs really appreciated it. Lol.
Fuck I laughed so hard through this whole book, fucking classic shit. I love reading a story where everything out of their mouth is something I would personally say or have said. I'm telling you Queenie is my soulmate.
Neo is my man but hot fucking damnnnnnn Beast is a fucking delicious treat I could probably devour him and still want more. Maybe Beast and Daddy Dean in a yummy alpha sandwich both wanting control 😋. Hot damn.
I'm thinking maybe in the next book as a punishment for one of the guys being naughty she makes them watch her fuck herself with their dildo. And or maybe use it on Neo he seems like he'd be the only one who might not fight her on it. Lol
I was so happy that my girl Evie finally got her Queen. She deserves to be happy too. I am on the fence over sam though. I'm not sure if I want him to join as Harlow's lover or Axel's... maybe both? 🤔
I loved that she saved Abby from her dad and that Rosie was brave enough to tell her, I hope we get a follow up on her because I'm hoping her mother wasn't a cunt like Rosie's was. If she is I see a great bloody out come for her too. Lol

I loved this continuation of Queenie’s story. She’s crazy and I absolutely love it. I already loved Neo from book 1, he’s entirely gone for his Queen and that hasn’t changed one bit. He’s possessive but willing to share with the few people he deems worthy. We get to see more of everyone else in this book. Harlow finally realizes her feelings for Evie, and admits her feelings for Cass and Dean. Motherhood looks so good on her. She’s still 100% unapologetically herself, a crazy, bloodthirsty avenging dark angel and that will never change. I love her ‘take me as I am, I will not change for anyone’ attitude. Axel is still a serious jerk through most of the book but finally gets over himself towards the end. There are some hilarious moments, the petting zoo keeps growing, Thanksgiving is quite the event…There is quite the cliffhanger ending, I really hope book 3 comes soon! Also I loved the mention of Tyson. We’ve seen Queenie a couple of times in the Emerald Lake Prep series but that was the first crossover hint in this series

Crowned Queen is book 2 in the Blood Empire series and if you read Rising Queen, you know Queenie is a boss!! She may be a little crazy, but she doesn't care what anyone thinks and will do whatever it takes to keep those she loves safe.
I am loving the relationships in this one!! They have all grown so much and i love seeing this softer side to Queenie. Neo is still my favorite guy, but Daddy Dean is a close second!!! And Sam, ugh I just want Harlow to love him!!!

Book 2 of Harlow’s story
I enjoyed this second instalment in Queenie’s story although Neo is the predominantly featured man in her harem. I love the relationship between Harlow and Neo but would have liked a bit more of the other men too as the harem wasn’t feeling very balanced - Although I am guessing they will become more involved in future books. There are most definitely trigger warnings in this book so make sure you read those as well as this book hits the ground running!

I don't normally read series this dark, but this one is SOOOO good! I love Queenie and her guys! There is just the right balance of crazy and steamy...okay maybe a lot more crazy than steam but it's the perfect balance! Cannot wait for the third book...holy cliffhanger!

I liked this one better then the first.
Dean’s reason for making that phone call is actually a good reason and I can definitely understand why he did what he did. It makes total sense once you have the full story. Still ended up with horrible results though. But how could he have predicted that that would happen. Especially when he thought she got the money they sent her. Everyone blames the guys, especially Dean for what happened to her but honestly, if that guy would have just gave her the money then none of that would have happened.
Here we are again with another scene with OW. Though I will say it’s the first and last in this series. No they aren’t together so it’s not cheating but in my eyes it basically is since we are on book 2. He hires a service girl and gets a BJ from her. Of course Queenie walks in and sees just as he finishes while saying her name. This is when we learn about his past. I do feel for him. Just wish he would have gotten all of that out in the air without needing to get that BJ 😂
Can Axel just take a nose dive already please. I can’t stand him. He serves no purpose other then being a complete twat and just won’t shut up

I definitely enjoyed this book.
Lots of steam, and sass.
I did feel that the other guys were left out and Neo and Evie are favorited.
I love Neo and really enjoyed seeing more of him and his beast, but he was the main male character through the whole book and the others were pushed to the side lines. We got a little glimpse of Dean and Axel's pasts but that's about it.
Then there's Evie, I understand her easy relationship with her based on their past but she puts so much more into that relationship than she does with rebuilding her relationship with the guys. It definitely seems like Evie is the most important and the guys are expendable as long as she has Evie.
I'm not sure how I feel about Sam yet, are him and Axel going to become a thing? Do they just seem to have chemistry because they're both in love with Harlow?
I'm hoping we will get more of Dean, Cass and Axel in the next book.
That ending definitely threw me off and I can't wait to see where it leads.

Feelings/Family/Love/Trust /Growth
As soon as I open the book I was on panic mode... I was craving this book so hard that now I'm scared because I finish it and I can't wait for the next one.
Queenie Queenie.. I love her so much. She is so crazy, strong and funny. It was amazing to get to see her vulnerable side. She needed the time apart to get her emotions in control and be clear of her feelings. She open her self little by little. And let me tell you this new side of her is priceless. I love how she can be crazy, funny, badass and loving at the same time. Also it was amazing to see Queenie trusting the guys. She build the trust with them and it takes a lot of time. But when she does it is wonderful.
This book was the perfect continuation. It was Queenie open up and building the family that she craves and need and the guys welcoming her, the missing piece to their family. It was perfection...
Can we talk about my girl Evie..girl finally...I was so excited to see Evie getting stronger and getting confortable with the guys. Also the beautiful friendship she build with Sam. Amazing characters coming together.
Sam sweet loving Sam. It was really good to see that his character development wasn't rush. It was real and honest. I can't wait to see more of him.
Rosie is so sweet and so pure but she can be sassy. She keeps them grownded, her character is amazing. She gives you love and compassion. She made me cry a couple of times.
Neo, crazy Psycho Neo, when he let his beast out you know that things are going to get scary but hot. I love Neo's character so much I haven't read a character like him before. He can be scary and bloody but so loving and vulnerable at the same time. He gives me chills.
Cass, Axel and Dean.. they where amazing. We get to understand more about them and their past. Why they are that way and what make them behave the way they do. Also we get to understand in deep the desition they had to make to protect the people they love.
The trust, the love and the amount of understanding that was developed in this was astounding.
The D days... Holy Mother of God.. the music the emotions, the feeling the high, you feel everything..Again it was written in a way that you feel that you are in there with them. Seeing Queenie in her elements and having fun also getting the guys included. AMAZING
Side Character, they are amazing to the point that they don't overshadow main character's but you want to know more about them.
I read this book with a smile in my face even when they where doing some killing and they had blood everywhere. It was so satisfying and I was happy. I did cry a couple of time (or more) but I love the feelings and this book gaves you everything love, fun, a good laugh, crazy, sexy, hot and family. Getting to the first page it was like getting home after a long vacation and you get to feel happy and complete. That's the feeling I got with this book. I waited to read it and now that I'm done I feel empty again. That ending was like a slap in the face. My heart was beating so fast and my chest hurts and the chills. What can I say I will be anxiously waiting for next one.

Rosie is so sweet and so pure but she can be sassy. She keeps them grownded, her character is amazing. She gives you love and compassion. She made me cry a couple of times.
Neo, crazy Psycho Neo, when he let his beast out you know that things are going to get scary but hot. I love Neo's character so much I haven't read a character like him before. He can be scary and bloody but so loving and vulnerable at the same time. He gives me chills.
Cass, Axel and Dean.. they where amazing. We get to understand more about them and their past. Why they are that way and what make them behave the way they do. Also we get to understand in deep the desition they had to make to protect the people they love.
The trust, the love and the amount of understanding that was developed in this was astounding.
The D days... Holy Mother of God.. the music the emotions, the feeling the high, you feel everything..Again it was written in a way that you feel that you are in there with them. Seeing Queenie in her elements and having fun also getting the guys included. AMAZING
Side Character, they are amazing to the point that they don't overshadow main character's but you want to know more about them.
I read this book with a smile in my face even when they where doing some killing and they had blood everywhere. It was so satisfying and I was happy. I did cry a couple of time (or more) but I love the feelings and this book gaves you everything love, fun, a good laugh, crazy, sexy, hot and family. Getting to the first page it was like getting home after a long vacation and you get to feel happy and complete. That's the feeling I got with this book. I waited to read it and now that I'm done I feel empty again. That ending was like a slap in the face. My heart was beating so fast and my chest hurts and the chills. What can I say I will be anxiously waiting for next one.

This book was everything I could have wanted. I loved book 1 and have been impatiently waiting for book 2 and now that I have read this one I know it will be the same with book 3.
I absolutely love Harlow/Queenie and this book really makes you feel for her character even more. Alisha did an amazing job showing the different character development even with those characters that seemed like they would never be anything but mean (If you know you know). The way Harlow becomes the best version of herself as well as her helping the other to be truly themselves is amazing.
I love that Beast gets his own POV in this book! I love Neo and his other side. Speaking of Neo the different movie or tv references he was involved with made it a thousand times better. I laughed so hard and almost got emotional a few times throughout this book. Until I wanted to throw my kindle because of the cliffhanger at the end! I had heard it was rough but boy was I blindsided! But amazing cliffhangers are also kinda the best even if it is mean.
If you are on the fence about this book let this review be your deciding factor. Don’t just stop at this book though. If you are feeling a little lost after the end checkout Alisha’s other series Emerald Lake Prep for some cross over with Harlow!

So first of all the hunger games to start was pretty hilarious with Queenie involved. I feel like this stabbycation has done her some good.
There were a few paragraphs I had to skim through because they were a bit to much in the gory department for me. It did not take away from the story at all. Neo and Beast are coo coo for Cocoa Puffs and they’re the yin to Queenies Yang. Neo does not disappoint, and I like that we’ve gotten to know about Evie, Dean, Axel more.
Also, motherhood for Queenie is amazing. I feel like Queenie some days when it comes to my tiny human.
Thanksgiving….. Coffee, pies, tasers, and turkey. That sounds like a bad joke but it’s hilarious. I’ll never see the holiday in the same light again!

Bow Down to the Queen!!
Queenie/Harlow is unlike any FMC I have read before. I’ve read dark female characters that land on the wrong side of the law, but Queenie is next level crazy and loved every minute of it. Alisha has played a vital role in further breaking my moral compass and I’m so here for it.
This book did such a phenomenal job at really fleshing each character and the relationships between all of them, not just Harlow and them. I don’t think I’ve ever read a book that was so sweet and so violent at the same time. As I’ve already told Alisha, this book did an amazing job of really lowering my guard as I got to know all these amazing people and then hit me with a 2x4 in the very last page. WTH!!!! Gasp worthy and so unexpected! All that said, you’re going to need a towel and water for hydration to survive the level of steam 🥵in this book. And there’s really no way to prepare for all the different ways people can be unalived 🔪🩸.What an amazing ride, I cannot wait for book 3! Read all the triggers and prepare to be shocked and fall in love.

My oh my! What a way to end book 2!!
This book was definitely interesting and took a direction I wasn't expecting at all. I'm not quite sure how I feel about it to be honest. Book 1 just seemed to captivate you soo completely and I feel like book 2 kinda just let off the gas until the ending. I was expecting perhaps more drama from outside forces and maybe a more traditional plot I think? Needless to say, I was thrown for a loop and on that note I don't necessarily think it was a bad thing. We got to see Queenie truly grow as a character in ways I don't normally see in books. This book was completely dedicated to character development as a whole and that's the focus we saw. It was fascinating to read and I loved see all of the characters come together and finally find their place in this family.
I must admit though that the ending and the perceived direction for book 3 was exactly what I craved for. This author has a way of just seamlessly balancing drama as well as encouraging the development needed from the character in order to truly connect with them on an emotional level.

I love Queenie so much and was so happy when this book was ready to be read by the world! We pick up after the events at the end of Rising Queen, with Queenie aka Harlow, doing what she does best ⚔️ in Mexico. She returns to her guys, Rosie and Evie and is finally home for good. There is a lot of growth and trust built in this book between Queenie and her guys/Evie but I especially love her and Neo. Neo has massive golden retriever energy and I love it. He would do anything to protect his Queen but has a soft spot for his animals and Rosie. Sam also plays a bigger role in this book and I love how Alisha made him a best friend in this book, because Queenie needs someone to have her back always. Alisha can really bring characters to life but I absolutely love her spicy scenes 🌶 🥵. I can’t wait for book 3!!!

I loved this second installment of Queenie’s story !
It begins in a whirlwind of activity that while reading I had to shake my head because it was so imaginative! #maytheoddsbeeverinyourfavor. Which just so you know- they were not! The beast was unleashed and I loved the way Queenie was able to rein him back to himself without sacrificing the quality and complexity of that character! My favorite part about these book, especially this one is how she is still able to love despite all the tragic past she has. Finally, Rosie, I love that little girl ! Her birthday was epic. I love that that she cares about her friends and sees Queenie for what she is, a bada** mom and role model ! She tries her best to make sure the people who can’t fight for themselves have her on the front lines helping !
Can’t wait for the next installment of her story!

Alisha Williams is ruining me for other authors. This is the second book in the “Blood Empire” series. Harlow is everything I want to be if I ever grow up. Her dedication to protecting everyone who can’t do it for themselves makes me emotional. I still think the guys need to grovel some more, well maybe not Neo. He is my favorite. Axel definitely needs to be stabbed a few more times. He is so infuriating! There was a new addition to the harem and I’m still adjusting. It’s so hot but I don’t like the division. I’m hoping it becomes easier as the living arrangements change. I will not hesitate to say that these books are in my top five for the year! I cannot wait for the next one. If you are looking for a dark stabby RH with some extreme sexy times, you will absolutely love this one!

Perfection!
I didn't think that Queenie's story could get better, but OMGosh!!! I was so wrong! The Beast was unleashed and I loved it! Neo is absolutely delicious. And Cass is such a gentle giant. He's so in tune with Harlow's needs. Daddy Dean is rapidly growing on me, as he tries to give up the control he needs. And Axel...sweet, misunderstood Axel. He's rapidly becoming a favorite of mine. Adding Evie to the harem was perfect! Harlow and Evie have such a strong connection. Such a beautiful love. I'm hoping Sam allows himself to openly love Queenie. He deserves all the love she will give him. ❤ And Rosie is absolutely adorable! She's such a sassy 4 year old. We can't forget the amazing Mr. Bacon! Him and Neo are so cute.

I loved that we got more of Queenies backstory and saw her slowly start to grow into her relationships and look inside herself for comfort!
I loved seeing her soft side with those she was trying to protect while also still being able to take down those that deserve it.
Her men? Holy crap I’m obsessed with them! As for Evie? I’m not a huge fan of another female in the harem so I skipped over that for the most part, but if that’s your thing you’ll love this as all of Williams relationships are written beautifully.
Just when you think she can’t up the steam she added even more sexy times! Like holy cow make sure you have the necessary tools ready when reading this book!

The Blood Empire series is unlike anything I've ever read before and Crowned Queen is no different! Harlow, Neo, Cass, Dean, Axel, Evie and Rosie have such a unique dynamic and they're so much fun to read, even when things get dark. This book is full of growth for all of them, especially Harlow and Axel. Their dynamics have changed, but have only brought them closer together. They're still up to all of their violence (with lots of D-Days and play dates), we also get to see them getting used to their relationship and getting to know each other again, which I loved.
The cliffhanger at the end of this one is brutal, but I can't wait for the next book in this series to come out! I need more Queenie in my life.

Queenie keeps getting better and better. There’s an image that she portrays that is emotionless, that she is insane, bloodthirsty, and doesn’t do attachments. This is the front that she has to show to keep herself and those she does love safe. The idea that there’s no way to hurt the person that brings ultimate justice for those that can’t fight for themselves.
I love that we got to see more this book. Queenie is multifaceted, and even she learns about herself in this book. She learns how to love, what that looks like, and even how to forgive those that have hurt her. I love how her harem supports her in different ways and helps to feed the different broken spots of her house. I can’t wait to read more.
